A week or so later , kris's mother knocked softly on his bedroom door

"Krissy , honey .. are you asleep?"

Upon hearing the nickname , kris knew there was something fishy going on , there were two possibilities , his mother brought a new cat - which was unlikely because the last time she brought a pet home , she figured out that kris had allergy to fur- or , she arranged a new date for him!

Kris frowned before opening the door

His mother stood there , with a nervous smile on her face , playing with her fingers

"Well , minyeong called "

"And?" kris raised an eyebrow

"She said her son, Jongin, finally agreed to go on a date and she asked if I knew one of our friends' sons that's available .." she trailed off

kris waited for her to continue , eyebrow still raised

".. and I .. accidently of course , told her that you are available"

she shot him an innocent smile

Kris mentally face palmed , he knew it!

Kris thought of his options ,

if he refused , he would have to deal with his mother whining 24/7 , and that really wasn't a good idea

If he agreed , he might meet the boy , half an hour and return back to the safety of his bedroom , it wouldn't be that hard , right? Kris could swear that his dates can't get any worse than the past three ..

little did kris know .

next morning kris was dressed casually , heading to the cafe where he was supposed to meet Jongin

he pushed the door of the cafe searching for the tanned boy his mother described , it wasn't difficult , considering there was only two people in the cafe , one of them was a 70 year old man

he approached the table where a handsome boy with tanned skin sat.

"Hi , Jongin?" kris asked

jongin stood up and held a hand for kris to shake

"yeah , nice to meet you kris" he smiled

kris shook his hand , he kept his cool although he was astonished by the fact that one of his mother's friends' sons was actually normal.

they sat there for a moment , no one saying anything , until jongin coughed

"Oh , why don't we order something then?" Jongin said , already flipping through the menu

kris nodded and took the menu .

they made their orders , kris was going to pay , but jongin insisted on paying for his order .

They talked for a bit about random things until the waiter brought their orders

Jongin took a bite from his chocolate cake , he chewed slowly ..

"Why is this so expensive? Kyungsoo's chocolate cakes are way better than this" he looked at his chocolate cake , pouting .

kris raised an eyebrow ..

"Kyungsoo?" He asked , taking a sip from his milkshake

jongin smiled immediately, kris later regretted asking

"Yeah , he is my best friend , we've been friends since middle school , he's the best cook in the whole world" jongin beamed and nearly flailed

" he can cook? That's nice" kris smiled

"Yeah he can! He makes this kimchi spaghetti that you'd die for , he made it for me every day on lunch for the past four years" he said proudly

kris nodded , wondering how the boy could keep fit if he ate spaghetti for lunch every day

jongin took his mobile phone out of his pocket , he flipped through the photos

"wait , I'll show you his picture"

at this point , kris was beginning to doubt his judgment of the boy earlier

jongin showed him a photo of a small boy with wide eyes , smiling and making a V sign ,

then a photo of him and the boy , with jongin throwing an arm around the boy's shoulder , both smiling happily

then another , and another , jongin was giggling happily .

After the tenth photo or so , jongin decided it was enough , he returned his phone back to his pocket , kris mentally sighed in relief .

"He was going to cook me dinner tonight" jongin began again and kris hardly prevented himself from rolling his eyes

"But he suddenly decided to go out with that joonmyun !" Jongin said through gritted teeth .

Kris raised an eyebrow , kris could smell the jealousy in jongin's tone .

"Joonmyun?" Kris dared to ask again

jongin rolled his eyes at the mention of the name

"He is kyungsoo's friend , I really don't like him " he said , annoyed

"Why don't you like him? He's your bestfriend's friend !" Kris asked , finding it amusing how jongin seemed so jealous .

"No you don't understand , he is trying to take kyungsoo away from me , and I know he likes kyungie , more than a friend , you know!"

Kris smirked , this was turning out to be interesting really .

"Aren't you supposed to help him confess to kyungsoo then?" He said

Jongin's eyes widened at that

"Of course not! He is not suitable for kyungsoo , he's totally not!"

"Isn't kyungsoo the one to know if he's suitable or not?"

"Yes , but he's my bestfriend and I know what's best for him , besides , kyungsoo doesn't like him that way" Jongin argued

"I don't know , I think if he preferred going out with him than eating lunch with his bestfriend , then he definitely is special to him!" Kris said , pressing more

Jongin's eyes widened to a size kris thought was impossible , his face turned slighty pale

"N-no , he defiantly doesn't like him ... d-do you think so?" He said weakly , then covered his face with his hands

A minutes of silence passed , kris staring at jongin with a smirk on his face

"Jongin" kris called

Jongin lifted his hands off his face and looked at lris , kris could swear the boys eyes looked watery .

"Do you like kyungsoo" kris asked calmly

Jongin stared at him for a moment , swallowing his saliva , before nodding his head weakly

"I'm sorry , I know I shouldn't have agreeed on the date , but you know how mothers are " he sighed

Kris smiled

"It's okey , my mother is like this too" he said

there was a moment of silence before kris broke it

"You should tell him then" he said

Jongin sighed dramatically , eyes wandering the place

"You don't understand , I can't jus- Holy " jongin nearly jumped of his chair

"What"

"Holy kyungsoo is here , act normal and don't look " he said panicked

Kris didn't really know what to do or how to act normal like jongin said , he fought the argue to look behind and see kyungsoo

"So the weather is nice today isn't it" jongin said , in attempt to act normal but terribly failing with his trembling hands and red ears

moments later and kris saw kyungsoo when he passed by their table , kris could swear that kyungsoo glanced towards their table , he sat in the far corner alone , kris caught him looking at his watch every now and then , apparently waiting for someone .

"Do you like soccer? I do really , I used to play it in high school" jongin kept blabbering

"Jongin , it's okey now , he sat by the far corner , no need to act normal" kris said trying to calm the sweating boy in front of him .

"Seriously .. why is he here ! My luck is just incredible! " jongin said

A few moments passed before someone entered the cafe again and all of a sudden kris found jongin growling .

"What the hell?" Jongin said gritting his teeth

Kris turned his head looking at the new comer
“who’s he”
“Jonmyun” he said blankly
, kris had doubts that this was only jongin's luck

He heard the happy laugh of kyungsoo , and the groan from jongin

"This is really too much" jongin said , fidgeting in his seat , trying to catch a glimpse of the two sitting at the far corner .

Meanwhile kris was secretly watching kyungsoo , he could swear the boy looked at their direction more than once .

Jongin sighed heavly

"Jongin .. I think you should tell him before it's too late" kris started

"I just .. it's not .. it's not that simple" jongin turned to look at the couple

"I know , but there's no other way , you have to or you'll reg-"

"Holy ! No" jongin jumped out of his chair , running furiously towards the couple .

after kris recovered from the shock , he could see the reason of jongin's out burst as jonmyun's one arm was wrapped around kyungsoo's neck , while the other hanging on the air , probably was on its way to hug kyungsoo .

jongin snatched kyungsoo’s hand furiously
“what the do you think you’re doing?!” he yelled

kyungsoo freed his hand from jongin’s hand
“what do YOU think you’re doing” he said , acting as cool as ever

“how can you just let him hug you like that?” Jongin said , still furious

Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow “what! , do I need your permission to let anyone hug me?”
“No , but-“
“and look who’s talking! YOU WERE HAVING A DATE TODAY!” kyungsoo finally snapped , glaring at kris , and seriously , if looks could kill , kris would be dead.

Jongin was astonished , it’s the first time kyungsoo snapped like this

He didn’t know what to say

He looked over to kris , kris mouthed “tell him” silently , hoping jongin would understand

Jongin’s eyes widened , but kris nodded in confirmation

“kyung .. “ jongin said

Kyungsoo looked at him straight in the eye

 “I-I ..” jongin stuttered

“what? Just say it jongin!” kyungsoo said impatiently

“I ..”

“wha-“

“I like you!”
“huh? .. what?”

“I like you .. in fact .. I love you , I’ve loved you for years , and I just can’t let anybody take you away from me , I don’t know why I agreed to go out on a date ! I really don’t , maybe I thought it would take my mind off you , but it didn’t , and really I ..” jongin trailed off , face already burning

Kyungsoo was stunned , he just stood there , mouth agape and eyes as wide as owl’s

suddenly there was clapping and cheering and people shouting “ kiss!kiss!kiss!kiss!”

they both realized there were in the middle of a café

jongin looked at kyungsoo again , just to find the other already staring at him , eyes watering

jongin was about to say something , but in an instant he found kyungsoo’s lips on his

after a moment of trying to grasp the situation , jongin responded , cupping kyungsoo’s face

the whole café burst in loud cheers and clapping , and kris will never admit he clapped too.

Kyungsoo broke the kiss before he mumbled a quite “I love you too” against jongin’s lips

He took a step back wearing the biggest smile jongin has ever seen

 “I knew from your mother that you were coming here today with your date , so I brought jonmyun here on purpose , I guess I wanted to make you jealous” he said shyly

 “what? Don’t tell me that jonmyun knows about this!” jongin said

“he does” kyungsoo said , looking to jonmyun

Jongin turned to look at jonmyun who was wiping his happy tears ,looking like a proud mother

“oh , hyung I’m so sorry! I treated you horribly ! but .. you can’t blame me right? I thought you liked kyungsoo”
jonmyun just shrugged and continued shedding happy tears with a huge smile on his face .

A\N : I will understand if you guys wanted to kill me or something , but , i'm terribly sorry , like really really sorry 
okey i hope you understand this : i've had a lot going on in my life , first i was waiting for my final year of high school exam results , i wass really worried i couldn't focus on anything else , but it came well thanks god ^_^ 
but then again , there was the college stuff , i had to decide which college i will join but then i wanted to study korean language and literature while my mother wanted me to study medicine and i hate medicine , so we had a lot of arguments and it made me depressed really , but i finally chose what i want although she's still refusing it and we fight a lot but it's definitely better :")
please guys pray for me , this is really hard on me having to have a discussion about it with my mother every day , it's just so tiring :( 
i know this chapter wasn't even funny , i'm losing my sense of humor , but I couldn't let you guys wait any longer , i'm sorry again
