Next day , kris was dressed by 10 A.M , heading for the park this time

His mother probably thought that restaurants bring bad luck as the first date didn’t go well

He arrived minutes later and began to search the place with his eyes , his mother told him that he has blonde hair , he looked around

Oh crap , there’s like five or more boys with blonde hair in the park

There was two sitting together on a bench , nearly cuddling , so kris concluded that the boy he was to meet wasn’t one of them

There was a boy standing by a tree next to the cuddling couple , looking around like he was looking for something

Kris thought that it must be him as he approached the boy , he coughed awkwardly

“Luhan?” he said

The other boy turned to his direction

“umm , no” the boy said confused

“oh , sorry , I thought you were someone else , sorry” he backed off , slightly bowing his head

he turned around suddenly and nearly had a heart fell to the ground , in front of him was the couple that was cuddling on the bench moments before

one of them was wrapping a hand securely around the other boy’s waist and shooting daggers at kris

“seriously sehun , let me go he’s not going to bite me , let go now!” the other boy tried desperately to unwrap the other boy’s hands off his waist but the latter didn’t budge

He sighed in defeat , and stepped forward , closer to kris , the other boy glued to his side

He held a hand in front of kris

“Hey , I’m Luhan , you’re kris , right?” he said politely

Kris’s jaw dropped , staring at the boy in front of him like he was talking in hieroglyphic

“umm , I know it’s strange and all , umm why won’t we take a seat first so that I can explain everything?” Luhan continued when kris didn’t give him any respond

He headed for the bench , sehun attached to him , kriss following behind awkwardly

“so , umm , before anything , I’d like to introduce you two to each other , this is-“

“Thehun , Luhan’th boyfriend” the boy linked his fingers with luhan’s and nearly shoved it to kris’s face

“umm , nice to meet you , thehun” kris politely said , although still confused by the whole situation

“it’s Sehun “ luhan corrected while sehun gave kris the poker face

Kris coughed in embarrassment

“so , Sehun has been my friend since kindergarten , and my mother isn’t convinced that we love each other like that , she told me about you and all , and when I mentioned sehun she insisted that I was making up excuses so that I wouldn’t go , and you know how mothers are when they insist on something , so I had this idea of coming and telling you everything personally , but when Hunn-…..Sehun heard about it he , you know , as you can see” he ushered to sehun , who was now literally trying to pull luhan on his lap

“oh ..” was what kris managed to say , the situation still not quite sinking it

“sorry , it’s embarrassing ,but you know how mothers are “ luhan gave him an apologetic smile
there was a minute of awkward silence , kris was still trying to understand the whole situation

So , the boy he was going to go on a date with already had a boyfriend

And .. that boyfriend is sitting right beside him .. lovely , isn’t it?

“so .. why doesn’t your mother .. you know approve of theh- I mean Sehun?” he asked awkwardly

“it’s not that she doesn’t approve of him..” luhan said  , while sehun shook his head

“Sehun has been my best friend since kindergarten; he nearly lived in my house, my mother treated him like her own son , so she just can’t believe we love each other in that way” he continued

“she juth-just can’t begin suddenly to treating me like her son’s boyfriend after years of treating me as her son” Sehun said , fighting with the lisp

“remember when she opened the door on us ?  she got the shock of her like “ luhan said , looking at sehun and giggling

Sehun started giggling as well

And kris really didn’t want to know what luhan’s mother saw

Kris opened the door , already expecting his mother to be standing behind , flashing him the excited smile

“howdididgo ? howdiditgo?” she asked excitedly , tugging on his arm impatiently

“mom , next time you pick me a date , please check first if they are single or have poker-faced possessive lovers sewn to their hip , alright?” he said gritting on his teeth

His mom blinked her eyes several times

“oh , lovers?"

Then it clicked

 “OMG , You mean that thehun kid was really his boyfriend?”

“it’s Sehun .. wait! WHAT? you knew?” kris’s eyes widened

“oh , I think I forgot the chicken in the oven , ishouldgocheckonit” she said before she ran to the kitchen
