Being an International Fan~

The complications and disappointments Edition

First of all being, an international fan is NOT the easiest thing to be. In my opinion International fans have a different level of dedication than fans who have easy access to their idols. ( Fans who live in korea, or Asia or places where KPOP idols always go.) International fans go through a lot just to feed their crazy KPOP beast inside of them.  We have to :

* Wait for English (other language) Subs just to understand everything that our KPOP idols are sayng

* Wait til videos of the live performances are posted and up on youtube (other websites)

* Buy all KPOP albums/merchandise online which is terribly expesnsive depending on where you buy it , sometimes it get risky because you can't tell if it is an illegal copy or not.

* we can't just go to a store and actually purchase and album or any kpop merchandise ( well where i live )

* watch live KPOP music shows On youtube( other websites) instead of watching it live physically in the audience, or on the tv

*  stay up late or wake up late just to watch watch live performances ( different time zones ughh)

* keep up with KPOP stuff on Allkpop (others), facebook fanpages, instead of twitter (cause I can't really read korean) or official KPOP webistes/fansites, fan cafes ect.

* Do everything we can just so that we can be as close to our Bias' as possible, by saving up money and hoping that one day we will be able to meet our Bias in korea, or where ever

* search everywhere for kpop variety shows because sometimes they get blocked and taken off

* watch fan cams just to feel close to our Biases

And MANY, MANY MORE STUFF

complications:

*we can't go to fan signings, fan meetings or anything

* we can't meet our Biases face to face, talk to them, or hug them, take a picture with them or ever get their atuograph!

* We can't go to KPOP concerts because KPOP idols never go to our country, city. ( they never come to my city T^T, sad...)

* we can't go to a store and stock up on KPOP albums/merchandise

* we can't watch music shows, variety shows or dramas on our TV's

* we can't walk to our favourite idols when they are out and about filming their variety shows ( I get really depressed and upset when i see fans just walk up to their idol, when KPOP idols are filming variety shows, and ask for a picture and autograph, because I know that I will never be given that precious chance ;[ Lucky fans)

* we will never be able to get close to our Biases

* we can't visit places where our KPOP idols went ( like for example if KPOP idols go to a resturant/ cafe or film somewhere like in myeongdong )

and MANY MANY MORE complications and disappiontments....
