It hadn’t been so long since Kai left the house. Luhan stared at the rain through the window, somehow felt anxious and scared. To control his own hand from shivering, sometimes he moved some objects… without touching. Yeah, that was his ability, telekinesis.

Kai should’ve been back now, but his absence feared Luhan. Does something bad happen? How if Kai meet them? Luhan couldn’t stop worrying. If Kai met them then... Luhan couldn’t even imagine what would happen to them.

“You’re worrying him.” said someone. Luhan startled, totally forgot that he sit with someone beside him. It was a long haired skinny girl named Jung Nayoung. She was staring at Luhan with her round black eyes.

“Yeah, of course. He’s my brother.”Luhan said half-heartedly, not sure Nayong would undertand. Well, his relationship with Kai was a bit confusing. They’re not blood-related siblings. But somehow, living together for a long time made a tough bond between them.

Nayoung was quiet for a while before eventually murmured,”Luhan, why can’t you love me?”

Startled once again, Luhan dropped the glass he carried with telekinesis and it made a noise. The rain sound became louder and louder as the two suddenly quiet and awkward. Luhan didn’t know how to answer without hurt her feeling. Actually he… had a same feeling but… no, he couldn’t. He shouldn’t.

“Sorry, Nayoung. I… I can’t. You’re just a good friend for me. You’re like my own sister. I’m so sorry.”

Nayoung knew it, but still, that words hurt her so bad. Like thousands knives being stabbed on her chest. She had already loved Luhan for 5 years and still, forever. Sometimes she’s sure that Luhan had a crush on her too, but he never admitted it.

It was a reason, real reason for Luhan’s denying. It was someone he was waiting for that night… it was his brother, Kai.

Kai loved Nayoung so much, as much as Luhan did, as much as Nayoung loved Luhan.
