CHAPTER 1

-------------------------------------

Among the vast space located upon in the presence of the dark, cruel night that had started to plague the city of Seoul, a young girl pushed open the doors to a world full of tall buildings and busy streets. The one she had just left was home to the large white objects that guided people to other parts of the world. Silence was never welcomed from the building she had just departed from, there was never a time when sound had ever excused itself. The words of chatter, people pointing to strange maps with with strange characters on it, the sound of the large beasts taking new jobs as they started up towards the sky and not knowing what would wait for them on the other side. Weird voices coming out of nowhere, echoing through room, announcing new strange beasts that were ready to receive passengers. It was all too familiar to Hyeon, she felt like she had been placed inside a repeated fairy tale; a girls dream that never left the essence of her mind until she grew up to understand the reality of life. Until she was old enough to understand that in life, the only thing that mattered was how hard you worked, everything else would be spat back in your face...or stomped on in the mud.   But peace...was that a word that would ever come back as a theme in the lives of the people who inhabited the world as we knew it? With all the fear and terror, the pain and sorrow of today and tomorrow, the eyes of others should be open to the solution, or the ways to help their fellow occupants get through a lifetime. Wouldn't these people know that NOW was the time for humanity to do something to prove that they are still as good as they are thought to be?   Hyeon closed her eyes and embraced the city; the fog that pushed its way through the damp  edges, and into the open where people could look at it and not say anything to doubt its existence. Others, however, were bustling down the sidewalks of Seoul with only a mindset of their goal; get home to feed the kids, get back to shop to close up, go out and meet friends at the biggest club in town. They had no idea that she was now among them, once a person like everyone else who focused on the little things in life, making a big deal when the dog peed on the carpet, or when their friends invited her to go out to have a good time.   Existing in this world now, years later, only seemed to bring back the pain that for years Hyeon had tried to push away from her mind, her very existence, and she was a fool to believe she could ignore it all. She very much wanted to lift her hands up to the sky, feel the freedom that most human beings possessed, but she couldn't...there was no freedom from any kind of pain.   "What a strange person..." A young women whispered to the lady beside her as they passed Hyeon with quick steps. She lowered her voice as they passed, only loud enough for the other person to hear, "you'd think she'd have better judgment. Closing your eyes in public...doesn't she know how ridiculous that looks?" The lady pointed at Hyeon, who in turn tried to avoid meeting the gazes of the women as they walked past her and continued to fret over silly little things.   However, to Hyeon they weren't silly. A person...a personality; to judge a personality is to judge the person, something Hyeon found herself balling a fist at whenever she heard signs or "symptoms" of any kind of judging. What right did others have to tell her what she was like when they had no idea what kind of person she was? None. And yet people bother to look through the crowd for "weird" people, and point fingers while laughing at their ridiculous haircuts, or the way they walked. Sickening.   For a couple minutes Hyeon stood in the spot she had been for the last little while, staring off into nothing...thinking of nothing but what she had to do...trying to come with some reason against walking into her new apartment and finding another bottle of pills; and ending things right now. She shook her head as she flashed back to the last attempt; the fourth time she had failed.    "Miss?" A man called out from the distance, "miss do you need a taxi?"   Hyeon snapped out of her train of thought to observe a man, sitting in a yellow car. On the roof was a sign that read "Taxi" in Korean. "Uh..." She thought for a moment, "yes."   "Then hop in," The man jumped out of his seat and took the luggage that Hyeon had sitting beside her on the sidewalk, "I'll just put these in the back for ya."   Money. Hyeon grunted at the man's generosity; noting that anyone would do anything for the piece of paper used to create food on the table. Taxi's, she knew, were very expensive, but when a person goes out of their way to help another; she couldn't help but feel sick. What real motive was behind the actions? Why were they really trying to help one another? It was never clear to her what the motive was, in fact, it seemed to change almost every time. Hyeon watched the driver as she slowly opened up the back door of the cab and shuffled inside.    There weren't many pieces of luggage; three small carry-on like bags, plus a small purse that Hyeon kept with her. It was blue with a long strap, and a small black line that shot up through the middle.    The trunk went down with a loud thunk and the man scrambled back into the driver seat, "Where to?"   Hyeon pulled out a small, thin map and handed it to him, "There." She pointed to a red circle, obviously placed there by some sort of red object getting rid of whatever was inside of it, "I need to go to the Kicharu Apartments."   He nodded his head, "Yes, Ma'am."   ---   "Last sound check!" His hair was non existant, "Big Bang, please come to the desk for the last check!"   The voice echoed from the large room into a nearby hallway that stretched to as far as the door that allowed visitors to enter to premises. At the moment, even if someone were to try to open the doors from the outside it would be impossible to get them as far as even slightly open enough to access anything that was inside. Just outside the large instruments with a opening mechanism and see through substances was a large crowd of individuals. Many were screaming, and in their hands were large colored cards with various names on them. Some had them raised so high, you would think that at any moment the colored pieces of paper would take off and go flying.   There were various names on each that spread through the entire crowd. One read "T.O.P" and showed a man with little bangs, but enough hair to determine that he had any. He wore a black top hat; but it was hard to determine anything else, for in this photo, there was no body...it was easy to assume that the body had been cut off since all that remained was the head and hat. One stare into his eyes threw several ideas into the gazers mind as to the kind of person he may be; maybe someone of great judgment, amazing character,   Another read "Taeyang". The picture attached was of man with hair that stuck out towards the sky but after it touched the base of his head and rolled down towards his ears, it thinned until there was nothing left but the scalp of his head. His facial expression wasn't serious, or sad, it was of a more positive influence. Like the previous photo, his head was the only thing that had been placed on top of the poster.   The next read "Daesung" and when staring at it, anyone would swear that they had just seen a teddy bear. His hair, not reaching up to the sky like Taeyang, was like a bush on top of his head. It wasn't messy, but a large portion of it had gathered on the top, covering the entire surface and stretched down towards hie ears, halting just below him. His expression was like the sun, bright and cheerful, but he looked almost like he couldn't see for his eyes seemed closed. Again, only his head was visible.   Second to last was "Seung Ri". His hair, unlike the others, look like it had been professional designed from the side. It was a blackish color, and it gathered at the top, but only stuck out a little bit. The hair then stretched down both sides, and ended beside his ear, but extended behind it. It ran down the back of his neck.   But all these didn't compare to the number of color pieces of paper that were held up in favor of "GDragon", though some had the name "Jiyong" on it instead. With all the names above put together, perhaps then they would outnumber the amount of his names that were on these posters, but even then it would hard to estimate. Unlike his friends, with either little hair or a lot, he was more in the middle. His hair was thinner than the others, but there was not a bald spot on his head in ANY place. It did extend down to the back of his neck, and his hair did provide substantial bangs, but it didn't go all the way down to his ear. He was a blond with a boyish hat, though it was hard to determine the type.   From inside the building, in another part where it was possible to view the girls as they stood there, waiting for access to the building, someone put their fingers in between two blinds and separated them. Daesung felt a laugh coming on, "They've already started coming." He stood at the far end of the room, away from the most of the other members who were gathered on the couches.   Sitting on the farthest couch was Taeyang, "They're getting earlier and earlier."   "Their fans!" Exclaimed T.O.P, waving his hands in the air a little, "Fans come as early as they want!"   Seung Ri nodded, "Its true. But we haven't even started the sound check yet. Its hours before our concert."   Everyone nodded their heads in agreement. Fans would be fans, showing up early at concerts, banging on their doors at all hours of the night, and stalking the internet for new updated information on each of the members of Big Bang and their lives. It was a dirty job, but someone had to do.   Daesung retreated from his spot and seated himself next to Taeyang, there was no doubt that tonight would be a big hit, if the opposite were true, fans would have not bothered to show up so early. "What to do, what to do..." Taeyang repeated sarcastically, "being so famous is going to kill us!"   T.O.P smiled, "If not, surely we will become mute or deaf."   "You can be mute..." Seung Ri leaned back against his seat, "...I'd like to keep all that and the fame. I'd rather be homeless in a garbage truck."   "Ew. Who'd wanna live in a garbage truck?"   All eyes trailed to Seung Ri; some in disgust and others in confusion. A garbage truck was disgusting, all that gross and nasty stuff that lay in there...who knew how long it had been in there? Seung Ri didn't look up from the ground; rather he tried to hold back any form of laughter...or look of disgust at what he ha
