Sehun walked with a bouquet of twenty red roses to Luhan’s grave, on rose for every year Luhan had lived. Jinri and a two year old boy in a carriage was with him.

When Sehun was twenty-five, he married Jinri and three years later she gave birth to their first and only son.

Sehun sees that son as some kind of miracle, since Jinri had miscarried a lot both before and after this baby. It meant so much to him to have this baby he could love.

Jongin and Soojung had gotten married during the same time as Sehun and Jinri, it was a double-wedding and they even went on a honey-moon on Hawaii together. Soojung and Jongin had already three children; twins, one boy and one girl, who were five years old and a daughter who was one year old. Both Sehun and Jongin had managed to get a good life together with their wives.

Minseok had also gotten married to Sunyoung when he was 27 years old, but their marriage had only last for two years. During their short marriage had Minseok managed to get Sunyoung pregnant twice and they had two wonderful sons.

What happened to Yixing is something Sehun didn’t know, he knew that Yixing moved to Korea with Kris after the funeral of Luhan. But what happened to them afterwards was something he didn’t know. He had planned to invite them for his wedding, but he didn’t know their address and they weren’t at Minseok’s wedding either.

The following day, was Sehun planned on enlisting the army together with Jongin. But Sehun felt that he had to see Luhan before he enlisted.

There were fresh flowers at the grave. Lily of the valley. It was probably either Minseok or Yixing who had been there before him.

What Sehun knew, didn’t Luhan’s mother know if he was dead or not. Only his father was attending at Luhan’s funeral.

Sehun placed the roses next to the small, white flowers. “Hi Luhan, long time no see”

Sehun smiled to himself. He had to admit that it felt weird to speak to a stone, but this wasn’t just any stone. It was Luhan.

“Look, I’m married now. I have a kid as well. And I’m enlisting the army tomorrow.” One single tear fell down on Sehun’s cheek. “I miss you”

Jinri placed her hand on Sehun’s shoulder. “Are you okay?”

Sehun nodded. “It’s not the same when he’s not here though, but I will be okay. I’ve been okay for ten years”

The boy cried from the carriage and Jinri hurried to pick him up. “Who was he?” she asked, nodding at the grave while gently patting the back of the kid.

Sehun looked at Jinri, his eyes was filled with guilt. Jinri was a great mother, wife and friend, but he didn’t love her the same way as he loved Luhan.

Once Luhan died had Sehun really needed Jinri, and she was there for him. She had been the only one. But Sehun never stopped to love Luhan.

“He’s the only person who understood me” Sehun looked at his son; he had the same facial features as Jinri. The smiling eyes and the chubby cheeks.

Since both Sehun and Jinri were tall, Sehun expected the boy to become a giant as he grew up.

“Did you love him?” Jinri sounded hurt.

Sehun’s eyes met Jinri’s. “I’m sorry. I like you, but Luhan was special”

Jinri touched Sehun’s face and kissed him “That’s okay”

Sehun looked at the son in his arms. “So, Luhan” he said to the boy “Do you want some ice cream?”

The boy, who Sehun and Jinri had named Luhan, jumped up and down in excitement as soon as the word ‘ice cream’ was mentioned.
