Memories in Time
Description
Twelve had never been lonely. It is a small number by comparison, but never crossed their mind that they were lonely. Twelve was all they have, until the Battle happened. Fighting off the Northern had left them crippled and broken. The worst, though, was that new feeling called grief. One battle had been too many; while the others fought and survived, one had been left fighting for his life.
Twelve had never been a lonely number. Eleven would be.
Foreword
By dusk, it was quiet.
Blood has turned the river red. Corpses were covering the foot of the hill. Death was the only thing they could smell.
The corpses had been none of them, thankfully.
They fought teeth and nails.
They spit out fire and swept them with waves of water. They blew people up and froze them into blocks of ice. They create lightning and blinded eyes. They flew and rumble the earth. They distort time and jump in space. They messed up minds and hurt as much as they heal.
The Battle was over. But not without a cost.
