Description
There used to be stories of the time before this one. Stories of the times before corruption ruled the hearts of people, destorying everything and everyone. Times where heroes saved the innocent no matter what the cost. The times where there was more than just an inkling of good in the world.
Foreword
My grandfather used to tell me stories about the times before this one. He told me stories of the times before corruption ruled people, destroying everything and everyone. The times where heroes saved the innocent no matter what the cost. The times where there was more than just a speck of good in the world.
He continued telling me these stories until his very last breath, as if his words would make a difference someday. There he was, pale as a sheet, gripping my hand tightly as he struggled to say whatever he needed to help him die peacefully. I remember him smiling, eyes closed as his heartbeat faded.
My grandfather told me that one day, heroes will rise again and save us all.
But, where are these heroes now?
