SHINee Station

Drabbles

It was late at night and time to close up the station. Today was one of those few lucky days when they hadn’t had too many calls, and most of the time was spent on minor things like training the new recruits, cleaning, recounting supplies, and going to schools where some kid had pulled the fire alarm.

But after all the trucks had been pulled up into the bay and everyone had changed out of their uniform to go home, Minho and Jinki stayed behind to work on the trucks.

When they where finished they where covered with sweat, grease, and oil, black smudges on Jinki’s face where he had gone to scratch his nose.

“I think that’s everything,” Jinki said, wiping his hand on the worn dull yellow of his pants held up by bright red suspenders. He looked at his hands, still dirty.

” I think I’m going to wash up,” He said, ” we can change and go home afterwards.”

“Alright, ” Minho said, watching as Jinki walked towards the fire station’s kitchen. He was relatively clean compared to jinki, but his forehead had a large black smug on it from when he’d gone to wipe his sweat.

“I’ll come with you.”

——

It was probably somewhere in between Minho coming up behind him to hug Jinki while he was washing his hands in the sink, to when he’d turn around to slap him for acting inappropriate at the fire station when they’d locked lips. The water was still dripping from the faucet that hadn’t been turned all the way off, and with the way Minho was massaging his tongue into his mouth and pressing him into the hard counter’s edge, his boyfriend’s intentions where clear.

“Jesus christ, Minho. Here?” He panted, Minho going down to swipe his velvet tongue against Jinki’s sweaty jaw as they parted.

“We can try it in the supply closet if you want,” Minho teased, moving a leg forward to press in between Jinki’s shapely legs.

“I mean here as in at work.” Jinki hissed into Minho’s shoulder, thigh massaging his growing .

“Besides, you and me both know that that room is filled with so much junk we couldn’t possibly fit two people in there at once.”

“You’re going to be pretty full yourself,” Minho remarked, breath hot on Jinki’s ear.

Jinki chuckled despite his frustration, grinning as he moved to shrug of Minho’s suspenders, ” Sure it isn’t the other way around?”

This time it wan Minho’s turn to grin, ” Maybe next time.”

“Oh, really?” Jinki questioned, hands sliding up under Minho’s shirt, his nails dragging along the toned flesh teasingly.

“Really,” Minho said, teeth nipping the sensitive place behind Jinki’s ear.

The game was on.

Chapter 5: Ok, ok, I love 2nd POVs. I love, love them. They have a special place in my heart and I don't really know why, but I love them irrationally, unconditionally, especially if they are pulled off well. (typing out her love for a certain style of writing as if it's an OTP ><)

Which is the only reason why after reading Dorm in tumblr and liking it, I am moving over here to comment. Because I am a noob in tumblr and I have no idea how to leave comments in there, other than reblogging which seems kinda dumb to me, but nevermind, I am rambling. You have to excuse me, I am kind of in the midst of a camp now, and instead of doing what I am supposed to be doing and helping out my OG, I am typing away on my phone instead.

Anyway, writing in second POV is definitely not weird, and did I mention how much I love it? *looks up* Alright, I did, many times. This is pulled off really well, and somehow it really struck a chord within me and I felt that Taemin's emotions were reflected masterfully, while at the same time maintaining a certain detachment so that reading it doesn't become as painful as it could have been.

At this point of time, I am supposed to be waxing eloquent on how beautiful your writing is, but you have to forgive me, as my brain cells are fried right now (being under the sun for too long does your intelligence no favours), so just take it that I have done precisely just that--because really, I think the prose flows really well and there is no disjointedness within the drabble at all.

This is a long-winded comment I have written, and it is utterly unprofessional and directionless. I am probably gonna regret it when I come back to my senses...
