Addicted to you
"Yoona, do you want to stay here alittle longer?. It's sunday tommorow
anyway" Jonghyun said
He didn't even greet her "Goodmorning" but she wasn't offended by it. He was
smiling down at her with tenderness written all over his face.
She couldn't help but smile too
He grinned and kissed her on the nose
"Goodmorning, so?"
" Naah, your grandmother might be wondering where we are" She said. His
halmoni always said that she should becareful around him and hes too much
of a playboy
"Afraid of getting hitched with me?" he said grinning at her
"If halmoni knew what we were doing, she will drag us to the church and get us married
Yoona giggled
"I'm running away from marriage. I'm not interested. And I'm sure you don't want
too either" Yoona said Jonghyun raised his eyebrows
"How can you be so sure?"
"You love your freedom too much, your endless conquest and skirt-chasing,
and your flavour-of-the month girlfriends. The only reason you're with me is because
you haven't gotten what you want yet" She said
"The fun is in the chase right?, So why buy the cow when you can get milk for free?"
He looked shell-shocked. He didn't talk for a long time, he was just looking at her awe
"Is that what you think of me?" He asked
"That I'm heartless skirt- chasing scumbag witha ?"
Yoona laughed at what he said
"Ani not heartless, But definietly with a " He smiled
"Is That the reason why you're holding me at bay and you dont want to get too
close with me?"
He looked at her earnestly. He didn't look heartless. The truth is, he already
proved that hes a true a man. More manly than any other guys she met
before. He just doesn't like to commit in a long term relationship.
"Jonghyun, for me , Its a matter of survival. I don't want to invest on something that
can dissapear quickly. When my grandmother died, thats when i knew theres no
constant in my life. My mom is here but shes not. I can only trust Heehul oppa because if
anything happens to me, he'll still be there. But in the end, I only have myself
to lean on to. For you, It's a passing frenzy.
"If something ever happens to us. Its ok. I'm old enough. I should have love my
ity long ago anyway" She said laughing
"I just don't want to end up like my mother. And I'm not expecting us to last.
The happily ever after only happens in fairly tale. I'm responsible for my actions
and i only give as good as i get.
Jonghyuns felt saddened at what she said. He wanted to hold her. And never
let her go. He wanted to choke her moms neck. Knowing her,she must have retreated
into herself and got on with her life. She was strong, sweet, smart, and wonderfull woman.
Fierce possesiveness overcame him. He wouldn't let anyone hurt her again.
"Did you cry when your grandmother died?"
"Just five minutes, crying wouldn't do anything to bring her back.
"Oh.. Yoona" He hugged her tight
"Don't worry, I got your back. As long as your here, no one will hurt you
Yoonas heart melted at what he said, She knows that he will protect her if
ever her mother finds where she is. He was a man of his word. But she knows at the end, she will still get hurt.
"Who's going to protect me from you, Jonghyun?"
