Jini’s Point of View

Hi, my name is Yoon Jini. I’m a 7th semester student at Business & Administration in the university. Today is a special day. I’m gonna meet my boyfriend after 2 months separated because I took an English short course in USA.

The plane was landed, it means I’m gonna meet him again. And yeah, I saw him, a guy with a beige blazer on top of a white T-shirt and brown jeans, my Woohyunnie. I waved to him so excitedly. I’m a bit running into him. I hugged him so tight and said “Woohyunnie, I miss you soooo”. He replied “I miss you too..”. I loosened my hands and looked at him. He’s still adorable as usual. I smiled and then kissed him. He kissed me back; aah I know that he missed me a lot. But then he said that it’s not supposed to be like this. How could he say that? But fortunately it’s just a tease, cuz he actually meant that I should take the roses first. Yeah he brought a bouquet of pink roses, my favorite. He’s such a sweet guy, right? I bet there’s no one who doesn’t like him.

I really missed Korean food, especially ramyeon. I knew that USA also has instant noodles, but it tasted different. I think I knew what make it different, it’s not what you eat, but with whom you eat. Cuz here, I’m eating with my lovely guys. Guys? Yes, it’s not only Woohyun, there was also Kim Sunggyu. He’s actually a year older than me, but because we’re in the same class, (and actually I thought that a year is not important, so Woohyun didn’t have to called me noona), I prefer called him by his name or even Hamster, hahaha.

He smirked. Succeed. I like teasing him.

And then I realized, Woohyun & Sunggyu were wearing a blazer. Sunggyu wear a soft blue blazer on top of stripped white-blue collar shirt and white jeans. “Wooah, are these dress code?” I said it while pointing on their clothes.

Woohyun laughed. Sunggyu look confused. “You mean this?” He asked while lifting his blazer.

I nodded, “It seems like you both were going to do a photoshoot” I laughed. They also laughed. “Aaaah, I envied your connection.” I said it softly.

After they made an order, I continued my comment.

“By the way, Sunggyu’s appearance today is better than you Woohyunie.. He looks brighter. Autumn still next week, don’t use beige plus brown on summer..”

Woohyun laughed. “He’s always brighter than me. Look, he even put a make up.” Woohyun said it while laughed.

“Make up?” Sunggu hesitated.

“You can’t live without eyeliner Hyung, admit it.” Woohyun still laughed.

“Hahaha, I know I know, if he didn’t put the eyeliner he didn’t have eyes.” I joined Woohyun laugh.

Sunggyu also laughed, intentionaly, to show that he’s bothered.

“Oooh, look at that, his eyes were gone..” I teased Gyu.

He gave me a smirk.

“Then showed me your eyes Gyu..” I said.

He opened his eyes a bit wider, but then I blew an air in front of it, and he looked so bothered.

“Hahaha.. I’m sorry, I’m sorry.. It’s okay Gyu, there are a lot of guys who use eyeliner nowadays, and it looks good on you, so don’t worry” I said it while still laughed.

“How’s America?” Sunggyu started another conversation.

“Great! I met a lot of new friends, I visited many places.. I went to The Empire State Building, took a photo of Liberty statue, Oh and I watched broadway, it was fantastic!” I told the story enthusiastically.

“You seems had fun, but it sounds bad if your English still not good.” Sunggyu commented.

“I can speak English really well.. Do you dare to have conversation with me?” I responded him quickly.

Sunggyu avoided my gaze. Woohyun just laughed. “Hahaha, have you experience something’s new?” Woohyun started another conversation to save Gyu.

“Oh, I shared the room with another participant.. You know what, she snored while sleeping, and it’s just frustrating..”

Woohyun laughed again, but now it’s a little bit louder.. I got suspicious.

“No way! Gyu, did he snore while sleeping?” I asked Gyu spontaneously.

Gyu shook his head. “Then, why you laugh?” I asked Woohyun

“It’s not me, but him.” Woohyun pointed at Gyu while laughing

“Me? NO!” Sunggyu hesitated.

“Not snoring, but something else.. Hahaha. Is it okay if I shared this, Hyung?”

Sunggyu made a ‘you’re dead!’ gesture.

“Hey, what’s going on?” I was curious.

“No, no, I’ll keep it secret.”

I pouted. “Is it also bothering you, Woohyunie?”

“No, no..” He said it while made a glance to Gyu, but then continued the sentence, while looking at me “but yeah sometimes. Hahaha..”

“Hahaha, I never shared a room before, so I just felt a bit shocked when knowing my roommate has a habit that I dislike..”

“The important point if you share a room is a mutual understanding. Nobody's perfect, you and also your roommate. There must be something that you dislike from your roommate. And also, there must be something that your roommate dislikes from you. So back again, it's a mutual understanding.” Woohyun explained.

“Aaaah, you’re the most lovable man in the world, Woohyunie..” I his cheeks.

We’re sitting in the corner, which can watched tv clearly.

“Oh, is that a new program on SBS?” I pointed on TV.

“I don’t know, I’m not watching TV quite often..” Woohyun answered.
