Kiss on the Wheel
"Mmm!" You said taking a huge bite
of cotton candy off your stick.
"Lemme taste!" Chunji said bending
down for a taste. You were at the
amusement park with your boyfriend,
Chunji. "Oh look!" Chunji said, "You
have a little here!" He the
corner of your mouth smugly. You put
your hand to your face to cover your
red cheeks. "Hey look! A ferris
wheel! Come on!" Chunji waited in the
line for you to catch up. The
attendant strapped you in and the
ferris wheel went up bring you to the
sky. The view was breath taking. It
was a warm sunny day with a light
breeze. The city below was beautiful.
Tiny children and people laughed and
flitted excitedly from ride to ride. The
tall city buildings rose in the distance
high above the city. But you were
higher. You put your hand up and
reached for the sky with a deep sigh.
Chunji tapped you on the shoulder.
You opened your mouth to say
something but Chunji pressed his lips
on yours before you could.
"Saranghae."
