The musty smell of old paper filled your nose as your cold finger glided over the shelved books.Dust collected at your fingertips, but you couldn't care less. The whole place was dimly litted, making the atmosphere eerier as usual.
You heard their silent words lingering in the air, making the hair at the back of your head stand. You shook the dread off your system, resuming to finding the book. Found it, you silently exclaimed in your head after pulling out a book, The Void.

Foreword
Some people can see what others cannot.
I was hanging out with a couple of friends during the weekend, and our conversation about Shinhwa's comeback on May 16 and how LED Apple is too underrated suddenly took a strange turn.
We heard a low hum, and at first it was barely heard but as the pendulum of the old grandfather's clock swings back and forth, the haunting sound becomes louder and louder, until it forced us to quiet down and listen to the spooky melody.
It soon died down, and then the owner of the house, who is my friend, suddenly told us the story of the ancestral house. And it was too terrifying that it kept all of us up all night, we just lay there, not even uttering a single word. I did not opened my eyes in fear that I might see something supernatural.
And hence, I decided to immerse myself to write what I've heard, what I've seen, and what I've felt during my stay at that house. I'm not a psyhic, but I'm not ignorant; as I'm typing this, I feel like someone's watching me from behind. And I swear I faintly saw a girl's reflection on my screen, smirking.
