Chapter 49
Dragon of the EastMi Sun came home and saw us in our pajamas and her hand instinctively flew to her camera.
"Oh my God, you guys, can I take your photos?! You look so cute!" she cooed.
We all laughed and sat on the white couch in front of the blue wall. I sat right in the center. She didn't take as many pictures as before, but she took a few.
"You guys are the best!" she said. She went to her room then, leaving us alone.
"So, what's her story?" I asked Hooyoung later.
"She doesn't talk much." she said. "I think she told me once that her parents kicked her out for wanting to be a photographer. I don't know anything else."
"Aww, that's sad." I said. So her instinct to take photos was more than a hobby, it was her trying to prove to her parents what she could accomplish. It reminded me of when I started in cosmetics, the looks I got from my father's friends. Total disapproval.
We crashed pretty early, to my surprise. Of course, we were all pretty tired. We fell asleep at around 1 AM. I'd called my dad earlier to tell him I wouldn't be coming home tonight. I felt bad, but I guess I could see my father more often than my friends, who were all busy most of the time.
In the morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs. I peeked into the kitchen and saw Kelly in there with an apron over her pajamas.
"Morning!" I said.
She jumped. "Good morning!" she said. "You scared me."
"Where's everyone else?" I asked,
