Chapter 12

 

Jessica's POV

 

I called Sooyoung but there's no answered.

 

" Let's go to her house " Krystal said and drag me into the car.

 

After 30 minutes, we arrived at the Choi's mansion. We knocked the door and a maid open it.

 

" Good evening miss Jung " a maid said

 

" Good evening, is Sooyoung here? " I asked nervously

 

The maid eyes widened then said " You don't know, miss Sooyoung is leaving to L.A. tonight. "

 

I am shocked " What her flight is tonight and not tomorrow? " I asked

 

" Miss Sooyoung changed it at the last minute. Her flight is at 20h tonight. Mr. & Mrs Choi is sending her the airport about an hour ago. " The maid answer.

 

I looked at my watch is 20h30. We went back to the car.

 

" She is gone Krystal. " I cry

 

" Let's go back home " Krystal said.

 

After 30 minutes of driving, Krystal park the car then she wake me up.

 

" Unnie, let's go inside "

 

I open my eye

 

" Krys why are we here? "

 

" If you want to know where Sooyoung unnie is, you need daddy help. Don't forget, our daddy is mr. Choi bestfriend "

 

" You are right Krys "

 

We went inside the mansion. Our parents are in the living room watching TV.

 

" Daddy, mommy we are here " Krystal said

 

My parents look at me angrily.

 

" Jessica Jung, can you tell me why you said a such thing? " my father asked angrily

 

" Huh?! What do you mean? " I asked confusedly

 

" Don't play dump in front of us Jessica " my mother said with a sad tone

 

" I don't understand why you guys are talking about? Do you understand Krystal? "

 

" I don't understand either. What do you mean daddy? What did unnie do? " Krystal asked confusedly too

 

My parents sighed.

 

" Tell us why you said such a thing? " mr. Jung said sadly

 

" What I said?! Look I really don't understand what you guys are talking about. Care to explain first " I said impatiently

 

" Why you said a such thing in front of the restaurant? " my mom said

 

" What restaurant? " I asked. Wait don't tell me......

 

" Now you know what we are talking about " my father said

 

" How do you guys know about it? " I asked in shocked

 

" What are you guys talking about? " Krystal asked

 

" We are disappointed at you Jessica. How can you said those thing. How can you said after a few months, you girls will go back to your live. Then you can be happy again. Are you not happy with Sooyoung? Is she treat you that bad? Jessica,  Sooyoung is a great girl, taking care of you. I never thought she will get hurt because of you Jessica Jung " my father said

 

" UNNIE, IS THAT TRUE. " Krystal scream

 

" How you guys know about what I said? " I asked in shocked

 

" Sooyoung asked her parents to cancel the engagement then her parents asked her the reason. "

 

" Did Yuri told Sooyoung about this " I asked nervously

 

" No, Sooyoung was there with Yuri that night. She heard everything of what you said. " My mom sighed

 

I fall on the floor. Sooyoung was here that night. That's the reason she broke off our engagement. Tears fall down. My parents were shocked when they saw me my reaction. Krystal run toward me and hug me.

 

" Don't tell us.... " my father said

 

" Unnie is in love with Sooyoung unnie daddy. Can you please help her? "

 

My father said sadly " Is too late now Jessica. I can't do anything. Sooyoung is the Choi's most precious daughter and she is hurt because of you. "

 

" But daddy " Krystal try to said

 

" Jessica, you made a big mistake this time. " my mom said sadly

 

A week later - Jessica's POV

 

I was in the living room watching TV.

 

" Morning unnie "

 

" Morning Krys " I smile at my sister

 

" Are you feeling better? Is been a week that Sooyoung unnie left. " Krystal asked worriedly

 

" Yeah " I said with a sad tone

 

" What you gonna do? " Krystal asked

 

" Mom was right. I made a big mistake.....I will wait for Sooyoung and when she is back I will tell her my feeling " I said sadly

 

" But you don't even know if she will come back or not "

 

" She will come back "

 

L.A. World hotel building - Sooyoung's POV

 

Is been I week since I arrive in L.A. I started my work the next day I arrived. I try to concentrate in my work so I can forget about Jessica. But it doesn't work. I always think about her. I'm sure with the time I can move on but not now. Today I have a meeting with Tiffany Kwang the heir of Dynasty Ressort. Dynasty Ressort is the most luxurious ressort in America, so our hotel want to do business with them.

 

I am in our hotel restaurant reading a book. I look at my watch. It's almost the time for my meeting with Tiffany Hwang. I was on my way to the elevator then someone bump into me and my book fall on the floor.

 

Tiffany's POV

 

I am late for my meeting with Choi Sooyoung. I run toward the elevator then my phone rang.

 

" Daddy, I am almost there. "

 

" Honey, don't be late. The Choi's is one of our important client and they are one of the most powerful family in Korea. " my father said

 

" I know daddy, you told me a hundred time "

 

Suddenly I bump in someone and I saw a book fall on the floor. I kneel down and pick it up.

 

" I'm so sorry, I didn't see you " I apologize

 

When I look up I saw a tall girl in front of me. She give me a bright smile.

 

" No problem. Are you alright? " the tall girl said and she help me to stand up

 

" I'm really sorry " I bowed and give her book back. Our hand touch and I feel my heart beating fast.

What happen to me?

 

I look at my watch. Oh no I'm late!!!!

 

" I'm sorry, I need to go " I said then I run toward the elevator

 

Sooyoung's POV

 

I smile with this girl action. I look at my watch. Oh good, I'm late!!! I walk toward the elevator.

 

Tiffany's POV

 

The meeting room is on the 30th floor. When the elevator door open I went to the receptionist.

 

" Hi, my name is Tiffany Hwang. I have an appointment with miss Choi Sooyoung at 13h. " I said with a smile

 

" Yes, miss Hwang. Miss Sooyoung is not here yet. Please come with me " the girl said

 

The girl guide me inside the meeting room.

 

" Miss Sooyoung will be here in any minutes. Can I serve you with a coffee or tea? "

 

" Coffee please "

 

The girl nodded and when out. Then I heard

 

" Miss Sooyoung, miss Hwang is inside the meeting room " the girl said

 

" Thank you Sunny. Can you give..... " another girl said

 

" Coffee " the girl chuckled

 

" You are the best secretary "

 

This Choi Sooyoung seem to be a friendly girl.

 

Then I heard the door open.

 

" Sorry miss Hwang I'm late "

 

I look up and saw the tall girl I just bump at the lobby. Wait, she is Choi Sooyoung!!!!

 

I went up and she shake my hand. My heart is beating fast again. What happen? Maybe I was to nervous.

 

" My name is Tiffany Hwang from Dynasty Ressort. Nice to meet you "

 

" Hi, Tiffany. My name is Choi Sooyoung. You can call me Soo. Is nice to meet you "

 

Sooyoung's POV

 

I saw the girl who bumped into me at the lobby. So she is Tiffany Hwang. When I shake her hand I saw her blushing. She is cute.

 

" Please sit " I said

 

We talked about business for almost two hours.

 

* KNOCK *  * KNOCK *  * KNOCK *

 

" Miss Sooyoung, is time for your next meeting " Sunny said

 

" I'm sorry Tiffany. Can we continue tomorrow? "

 

" Sure "

 

Tiffany's POV

 

We went out from the meeting room.

 

" Sunny, can you please send miss Hwang to the lobby please " Soo asked

 

" Sure miss Sooyoung " Sunny said

 

Sooyoung is a real gentlewoman.

 

" Please this way miss Hwang. "

 

I nodded

 

" See you tomorrow Tiffany " Soo said with a bright smile

 

" See you tomorrow Soo. " I smile and went in the elevator.
