Description
Sehun is fascinated by the bright flashes of cameras outside the theatre. He holds the broom in his soft hands and smiles at how perfect those endearing lips are on the owner; the tan skin glowing under the lights are also perfect, how they capture Sehun’s attention is beyond his recognition. The actor waves to his adoring fans and for the umpteenth time in all the nights there was a staging to be held, Sehun wishes he is one of the fans.
He wants the handsome actor to notice him. He wants the actor to pepper the cool night air with his flying kisses. He wants the actor to tell him he’s beautiful. And for all he could ever wish for, he wants the actor to love him as how he loves the actor.
The crowd is screaming one name, and one name only— Kim Jongin.
Foreword
The curtains are finally drawn for the night. Sehun brings out his broom and cleaning materials to the centre of the aisle, where he imagines himself as the actor on stage; the centre of attention. He imagines his broom as the fair maiden he has saved and twirls it around in his hands affectionately. He has seen the hero do it countless of times. He has memorized every line uttered; the script a rehearsed tape playing in his mind. Sehun portrays a smile similar to the actor’s— handsome and sincere. He hears the audience clapping at his wonderful performance, their loud applause equivalent to that of tonight’s earlier staging.
Sehun turns around to the empty rows of chairs. The wooden statues are silent.
Okay I know I’m ignoring the other SeKai fic Innocently Guilty, but I just can’t I’ve got inspiration! And this is pretty much a late birthday dedication for Sehunnie baby because I love him okay he’s my baby. And because I trolled on wishful’s brilliant teaser of a SeKai fic, understanding (when sehun can't and only jongin can) in which she thought I didn’t see it coming but I was so expecting that, sweetie.
And and and my birthday’s in August. /shot. Okay, and um... Also for Jojo and Reenie coz I love them.
