Description
My name is Wu Mei-zhen, 20 years old, currently in 1st year college. My life is simple. I live in an apartment in China with my parents and a younger sister. I go to a normal school and Am the top-3 student in my class. I am super clumsy, I don’t even know why I’m one of the top students when in fact, I can’t survive a day without accidents.

[Mei-zhen's POV]
The story begins in the present, I and my sister are in the living room. My sister was playing with her tablet while i was busy reading a book. Then, she spoke up out of nowhere.
“Jie, do you believe in destiny?” she asked my with her eyes still pinned on her tablet, as if not taking the question seriously.
The question caught my attention. It made me reminisce my days as a high school student. So I responded to her, serious and without hesitation.
“Why do you ask?” I gave her a questioning look.
She looked at me and shrugged with her lips slightly pouting. “I don’t know. It just . . . came into my mind.”
I sat beside her and closed the book that I was reading.
“Well,” I looked up at the ceiling the turned back at her. “at first I thought meeting him consecutively was destiny; but I was wrong.”
Her eyebrows twitched, obviously not getting what I meant.
“What do you mean? Who is this ‘him’?” She asked me, now fully attentive to my words. I took a deep breath and leaned comfortably on the couch.
“Let me tell you about a story of mine three years ago . . . “
