Niel woke up the next morning wrapped in his boyfriend’s arms as always. His morning sickness seems to have eased up for now and for that he was grateful. For once in over a week he’d woken up hungry and not in the bathroom when his stomach decides to rebel. So he decided to find himself something to eat.

He pried L'joe’s arm from around him, earning an unconscious groan from the older. He smiled and peaked the blond on the forehead before sliding out of the bed and strolling to the kitchen. Niel made it to the kitchen without making much noise and hovered in front of the pantry trying to decide on what he wanted to eat. He soon decided on some oatmeal even though it wasn’t his. He really wanted it and would buy Cap a new box.

A few minutes later Niel was sitting down at the table nursing a hot bowl of cinnamon oatmeal with a cold glass of milk. He smiled as he took his first bite knowing he made the right choice.

“Yah, are you eating my oatmeal?” Cap’s sleepy voice sounded through the quiet kitchen. Busted. Oh so busted. The younger gave a shy smile as he meekly turned towards Cap.

“Uh, yeah I’m sorry. I really wanted oatmeal. I’ll buy you a new box I swear.” Niel said in a flurry of words. Cap smiled despite the fact that the brunette was munching on the last of his oatmeal.

“Since when do you even like oatmeal?” The leader asked as he sat at the table.

“I just woke up wanting it. Honestly, everyone knows I’ve been feeling funky lately. I haven’t been able to keep most things down, so when I want to eat something I’ll eat it. Cap smiled again with a nod.

“It’s fine, just good to see you eating something.” Niel grinned getting up to go to the dish cabinet and grabbed another bowl. Before Cap could protest he put half of the oatmeal into the other bowl.

“Thanks. I’m glad I get to eat some of my oatmeal.” Niel ignored his comment shyly as they continued to eat breakfast. “We have a free morning. What are you doing up so early?” Cap asked after a few minutes of silence.

“Says the person who sleeps like the dead.” He replied jokingly as he carried their now empty bowls to the sink. “My stomach woke me up. What about you sir sleeps a lot?” Cap quirked an eyebrow, Niel’s words striking a familiar cord within him but shrugged it off to answer the question.

“I couldn’t sleep well. Chunji’s little episode really shook me up. I haven’t seen him so distressed since…since a while.” He said catching himself. Niel nodded making sure to not say anything about what he knew.

“Hey, baby.” Cap says suddenly when Chunji walks into the kitchen rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. “Feeling better?” the blond nodded and jumped in surprise when Niel’s phone sounded effectively scaring the life out of them including Niel himself.

“What the hell is that?” Chunji fussed as he rummaged through the refrigerator to find what he needed to make breakfast.

“My alarm. Crap I gotta go before I’m late for my appointment.” The said in a rush as he ran to his room to get dressed.

“Appointment?” Chunji shrugged as he emerged from the cabinet with even more food to cook.

“Probably a doctor’s appointment.” the blond said absently before realizing what he said and mumbled curses to himself. He has got to stop doing that.

It was a few minutes later that Niel came barreling through the kitchen again and out the door with only a way goodbye. Cap watched in silence as he thought about Niel’s weird behavior lately. He couldn’t stop thinking about it. He kept feeling this odd sense of Deja-vu, just like… he paused his thoughts as everything came together. Without a word he got up and went to stand behind his boyfriend. He wrapped his hand around the younger’s waist.

“Baby stop, you see I’m cooking.” Cap tightened his grip and pulled Chunji away from the counter mid chop. “Minsoo, what-” He stops when he turns back and sees the loo in his eyes.

“Niel is pregnant isn’t he?” it was more of a statement than a question, but Chunji nodded regardless.

“Yes.” His voice was shaky as he tried to keep his emotions in check. It’s not like there was anything he could do about it. Niel wasn’t the cause of his miscarriage. Even so he couldn’t help but be a bit dejected about it.

“Chanhee.” Cap’s voice was gentle as he pulled Chunji close to his hair. “Are you okay?” He continued more worried about his boyfriend than the news of Niel’s pregnancy.

“Yes, I’m fine.” He honestly was okay. There was sadness in him but he was dealing well enough. “Gotta take it one day at a time.” They stand there for a few minutes before breaking apart and finishing breakfast.

Niel rushed into the clinic, barely making it on time for his appointment. He uttered his apologies as he sat on the cold metal medical table, the sanitary paper clinging to his legs.

“Sorry for the wait. What seems to be the problem?” the doctor asked taking a seat in front of him, his swivel chair squeaking obnoxiously under the weight.

“Well I can’t seem to keep anything down. Smells make me sick to my stomach, and I get tired easily. Even if I’ve had a full night sleep.” The younger listed off for the doctor.

“Well I’m sure I know what's wrong but let me give you a blood test just to be sure.” He offered calling in a nurse. The brunette waited anxiously as she prepared to take his blood. Once drawn he relaxed a little bit. He wasn’t fawned of needles. “It will take about thirty to forty five minutes for the results to finish.”

“Is it possible to get the results mailed? I have a schedule I can’t miss.” The doctor nodded knowing idols were always on the move.

“Thank you sir.” Niel hopped off the table and bowed before leaving and heading back to the dorm.

“Where did you go?” L'joe asked when Niel returned.

“I went for a walk. I woke up early and had time to kill.” He could feel Chunji’s eyes on him from the living room but ignored it.

“Oh, I was worried. Next time leave a note or something.” The blonde said a smile returning to his face. Phew. It seems no one said anything about his appointment.

“Sorry, Byunghun I wasn’t thinking.” He bent down slightly to kiss the shorter on the lips.

“Hurry and change manager hyung will be back to pick us up in a few minutes.” Without another word he went to switch clothes.

The next day the members were hanging out in the living room except Niel who had vocal lessons. Ricky, Changjo and L'joe were playing a game together while cap and Chunji were content with watching TV.

“Yah, mail’s here. Don’t leave the envelopes everywhere like yesterday.” Their manager instructed handing L'joe the stack of letters. “I’ll be back in ten minutes. I have to pick up our food.” A simultaneous ‘Ok’ rang out as he left.

L'joe shuffled through the mail sorting the letters to the correct members. He paused when a non-fan letter with Niel’s name on it caught his attention. It was from their company doctor. Was Niel that sick? Is that why he’s been acting funny? He had to know, and against his better judgment opened the letter.

“L'joe, are you okay?” Chunji asked being the first to notice the way the blonde had tensed, dropping the other letters in favor of gripping onto one letter in particular.

“N-n-Niel is pregnant…” he stammered out looking up from the paper.

There was silence in the room and it took another moment or two for L'joe’s shock to diminish enough for him to take in the not so surprised expressions of the other members. Without realizing it his fist tightened on the paper, crumpling it indefinitely.

“You knew?” Changjo tried to say something but it was too late.

They were screwed.
