Chapter 5

 

Your POV:

 

Two Weeks Later...

 

As I was walking towards Jinyoung's car, Youngmin pulled me to the side.

 

"Mi Eun-ah. Let's talk for a second."

I rolled my eyes.

"Fine."

"Look, I'm sorry about hurting you a couple days ago."

"It's fine. I'm over it."

"I was wondering if we could work things out. I promise I won't treat you like that again."

I sighed.

"I don't know.."

"Please Mi-Eun?" 

"Okay. As long as you keep your promise."

"I will definitely."

"Good."

He pulled me into a tight embrace.

"You don't know how much I have missed you."

When I heard those words, my heart began to feel full again.

"Youngmin oppa."

"Yeh?"

"Can you let me go? I have somewhere to go."

"Oh sorry. Where do you need to go? I'll take you."

"You don't have to. I need to pick up my little brother."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded my head.

"Okay. I'll see you later then." He kissed my forehead.

 

I walked away and got into Jinyoung's car.

 

Jinyoung POV:

 

I was waiting for Mi Eun at my car and then I saw her with Youngmin. What the hell is she doing with him?! I watched them closely and then I saw him kiss her forehead. Why did he just kiss her forehead?! Mi Eun got into the car and smiled at me.

 

"Let's go oppa."

"Arasso."

 

As we were driving to get our brothers, I tried to get Mi Eun to tell me what happened with her and Youngmin.

 

"So, I saw you with Youngmin."

"Okay. And?"

"And I wanted to know what you guys were talking about."

"Nothing really."

"I don't believe you."

"You don't believe me?"

"No."

"Why?"

"I saw you two hugging each other and I saw that he kissed you."

"So what. It's none of your business what we talked about."

I began to get irritated.

"Aish~! What is wrong with you?"

"Nothing."

 

We picked up Jumin and Jae Sun from preschool and headed over to Mi Eun's house. After getting settled into Mi Eun's house, we began our homework.

 

"Are you getting back with him?"

"And if I am?"

 

Your POV:

 

"And if I am?"

I could see that Jinyoung was getting really angry.

"You are making a big mistake Mi Eun."

"How so?"

"You're getting back together with that jerk that hurt you."

"So what? I have forgiven him and he promised me."

"Promised you what?

"He wouldn't hurt me again."

Jinyoung scoffed.

"And you believed him?"

"Yeah."

"Aish! You gullible girl."

"YAH! Don't call me that."

"What? Gullible?"

"Get out!"

"Fine."

Jinyoung walked towards the stairs and yelled for Jumin to come down.

"Hyung, we're leaving already?" Jumin asked pouting.

"Neh. Eomma is waiting for us." Jinyoung responded while helping Jumin put on his shoes.

"Arasso." 

Jinyoung grabbed their belongings and left my house. I mentally punched myself for what just happened.

"Aish! Mi Eun, you pabo!" I said to myself.

I plopped down on the couch and worked on my homework again.

 

A Few Days Later....

 

Jinyoung and I were still not on the best of terms yet. We both would ignore each other during the day and he would even try to make me jealous of the girls he hung out with. Not like I cared or anything. Mi Jae and Mi Rae came over my house for a sleepover so we could gossip.

 

"Why aren't you and Jinyoung oppa talking?" Mi Jae asked.

"We had a disagreement and we haven't talked since." I said as I laid across my bed.

"What was it about?" Mi Rae asked

"It was about me getting back together with Youngmin."

They both looked at me with shocked expressions.

"You and Youngmin are together again?" Mi Jae asked.

"Yeah."

Mi Jae squealed but Mi Rae stayed silent.

"I'm so glad you guys are back together. You guys are too cute!"

"I can't believe you went back to him." Mi Rae said.

"Well he apologized and I forgave him for what he did."

"Still, he hurt you and embarassed you in front of almost the whole school."

"You sound almost like Jinyoung."

"Well, at least I know he agrees with me."

I fake yawned.

"I'm so tired. Can we call it a night guys?"

"Neh." They both said

 

I turned my lamp off and rolled over in my bed. Mi Jae laid next to me while Mi Rae slept on bed mat.

 

The Next Day..

 

Jinyoung POV:

 

I haven't talked to Mi Eun in a couple days. I'm starting to miss my friend a little bit. I didn't like calling her my 'friend' but if that's what she wanted, then I'm fine with it. I tried to call her but no answer. I tried texting her but no reply. She is really mad at me then.

 

Your POV:

 

Mi Rae and Mi Jae had just left minutes ago before my phone started to go off. I looked and saw that it was Jinyoung. I just threw my phone on the bed and ignored it. Then, I received a text from Jinyoung also.

 

From: Jinyoung

To: Mi Eun

 

I'm really sorry. I miss you chingu. Forgive me, jebal?

 

I deleted the message. I decided to call Youngmin to see if he wanted to do something today.

 

"Yeoboseyo?"

"Oppa~. Wanna do something today?"

"Sure. I'll pick you up around 7, arasso? I'll surprise you."

"Arasso."

I hung up the phone. Finally, something to get away from Jinyoung.

 

Seven o'clock came along quicker than expected. Youngmin waited downstairs as I was trying to finish getting ready. I walked the stairs and Youngmin got up from the couch.

 

"Are you ready?" He asked.

I nodded my head.

"Let's go then."

 

I walked out the house while telling my mom goodbye.

 

"You keep her safe Jo Youngmin." She yelled.

"I will eomoni."

 

I got into the passenger seat and Youngmin started the car.

 

"So, do I get a hint of where we're going?"

"Ani." He smirked as he was driving.

"Aish! You and your surprises."

"You said that you were okay with the surprise."

"Not exactly."

"Yeah yeah whatever."

 

As we were crossing the intersection, a car came crashing into my side and then I  out.

 

Youngmin POV:

 

I squinted my eyes open, rubbed my head and saw blood on my hands. I looked over at Mi Eun. She didn't move an inch. Blood was coming down from her head. I shook her trying to wake her up.

 

"Mi Eun."

No reponse.

"Mi Eun-ah~!"

Still no reponse.

"Aish!"

 

I hope I didn't lose her. I thought to myself as I heard the sirens in the distance. Tears began to fall from my eyes as I thought of what could happen to Mi Eun if nobody saves her.
