There are still two weeks before the performance and the Team C were going on smoothly. They had it all perfect and what they only need to do is a little polish, here and there.

It's 14th of February, the Valentine's Day. The Star students were asked to go to school and participate in the annual Valentine's event.

It's a special day and there are no classes even though it's not a holiday. But the principal implemented that Valentine's Day is a special day in SM High.

There would be a program where guys will stand on the stage and confess their love to their one and only. There's a segment in the program where all the couples will be asked to go on stage and will do some games and tests to see if they really know about each other and to test if they have the perfect chemistry. Sounds corny, I know.

But the most awaited segment is the Popularity King and Queen where all the students and even the teachers were gonna vote for the most popular girl and boy in the whole campus.

Baekhyun and Jaehee arrived in school using her Bugatti. There are hearts and flowers everywhere which Jaehee founds irritating. She never found an interest on celebrating the Valentine's even though she has someone to spend the event with.

Baekhyun on the other hand, was looking forward for a gift or a chocolate from his dear girlfriend.  He already have a gift for her and its a surprise.

The Love Club has this booth and they are giving out free heart-shaped red papers. The purpose of it was to write your message to those you like and paste it on their lockers.

When Jaehee and Baekhyun arrived to their locker, both they did is to sigh. Both of their lockers were full of hearts and there are mountains of gifts in front of their locker.

Jaehee heaved an irritated sigh as she shoved all the gifts in her locker. "Aren't you going to give something to me?" Baekhyun suddenly asked.

"What do you mean? A gift?"

"Of course. It's our first Valentine's. "

"Well sorry." She said in a casual tone. "I don't have a tiny intention of giving someone a gift on this day even though you're my boyfriend. "

"Psh." Baekhyun mocked as he slammed his door shut and walked away with heavy feet. "What a child." She laughed and shook her head in amusement. 

Truth to be told, she has a gift for him. It will be her first time ever to give someone a gift on Valentine's.

Jaehee followed him to their usual lounge. She opened the door and found her friends resting there. "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAYYYYYY!!!" Yuri hollered as soon as she walked in.

Jaehee gave her a weird look and Yuri raised her brows, "Wae? Valentine's Day is for couples and you have a boyfriend!"

"So? That doesn't mean I should celebrate it." She snapped teasingly and looked at Baekhyun who was sitting on the hammock chair with a big frowning face. It's an amusing sight for her.

"Really, you're such a jerk. It's your first Valentine's with him." Yuri said as Jaehee sat on the couch near Baekhyun. He glared rolled his eye at her and she could only laugh.

"Ah! So that's why Baek's been frowning since he came here!" Chanyeol laughed and Baekhyun gave him his death glare. "Yeah, he said Jaehee doesn't have a gift for him. Poor Baekhyun." Kai teased and everybody laughed.

"Well it's your fault for having an unfortunate girlfriend." Tao said and Jaehee smacked him on the head, "You ungrateful brat!"

"Well seriously, why should I give him a gift? He already received it all from his fans. It won't be original if I gave him a chocolate." She explained which is actually true.

"Original or not, but as long and it's from you, it'll be special!" Baekhyun backfires.

"CAN YOU STOP WITH THE LOVE QUARREL?" Kris screamed as it was too much of a drama.

Jaehee suddenly changed the topic, "When's the start of the program?"

"Probably at 10 o'clock later." Taemin answered. "Can I skip it?"

"No you can't." Suho butted in. "All of us are nomimated, we are not allowed to skip." He explained as he is the current president of the Student Council.

"Seriously." She rolled her eyes and leaned on the couch.

"Who do you guys  think will be the Popularity Queen?" Sehun asked and Yuri answered, "Probably Jaehee. Almost every boys in this school hates Baekhyun because of her."

"Psh, I doubt." She chimed and closed her eyes as her head fell on Taemin's shoulder.

"The popularity king will be me." Baekhyun boasted and everyone gave him a look. "I highly doubt, hyung. A lot of boys hate you." Sehun said but he rolled his eyes. "I don't care, if Jaehee became the Popularity Queen then the King should be me."

"Seriously Baekhyun. You're so obsessed with Jaehee." Kris comments and Jaehee could only nod. "Wae? I can't let anyone kiss her!"

Yes. The Popularity King and Queen should kiss on the lips in front of everyone because Its a tradition. But last year when Baekhyun won the Popularity King, he ran off the stage because the Queen is no other than his fan, Hyemi.
 

It's already 10 o'clock, the program has already started and they headed to the large auditorium where the program is held. They were seated on their usual front seats. It was hosted by Taeyeon and Jihyun.

Jaehee sat beside Baekhyun who hasn't been talking to her for 2 hours in a row. She poked his arm multiple times but he ignored her, "Yah Baek, are you mad?" She asked the obvious as she took his hand and interlaced it with her.

"No." He quickly answered. "I know you're mad." Jaehee nudged. "If you already know I'm mad, then why are you asking?" He deadpanned.

"I'm sorry." She pouted but he still ignored her as he watched the program.

"Baekkkk~ I'm sorryyyyyyyy~" She chimed as she sneaked in and quickly pecked his lips. Baekhyun was quite startled with her actions as he knows that Jaehee never likes showing affection in public.

He finally turned his head to her, "Still no."

Jaehee pecked his lips once again. "Still no?"

"Still no."

"Oh come on Baek, I was just teasing you!"

"If you really want be forgiven, kiss me again."

"Fine."

Baekhyun puckered his lips as she leaned it to give him a quick smooch but he suddenly held the back of her neck and gave her a long kiss. When they pulled away, her face was as red as tomato because of embarrassment.

"Awwwww. My Jaehee is embarrassed~" Baekhyun teased. "Shut up." She scowled as her head fell on his shoulder.

And the program went on and surprisingly, its not boring as what Jaehee thought it was. Maybe because the way Taeyeon and Jihyun leads the program with humor or maybe the because everyone wants to participate. Or maybe its both.

There was this one segment where for the couples. The traditional pepero kiss. "Should I do it with my fiance?" Jihyun asked the audience as she gave her fiance a sneaky look.

"Oh no." Daniel, her fiance gasped who was sitting along with Baekhyun's group.

"YESSSSS!" The crowd chorused. Jihyun gave him a look and Daniel could only smile as he went up on stage with no choice.

"Woah, it's my first time seeing Jihyun unnie looking so... in love." Jaehee said which Baekhyun heard. "Oh you don't know how much she brags about him like ALL THE TIME."

"That's sick."Jaehee joked with a laugh. "I know right."

All the loving couples voluntarily went up on stage. Minho and Yuri was the first to go up on stage followed by other couples.

Baekhyun was having a hard time pullimg her girlfriend up to participate. "Come on Jaehee!" Baekhyun convinced. "NO! I SAID NO!"

"Come on noona! Don't be such a party pooper!" Tao urged as he helped Baekhyun to pull him up.

"CHOI JAEHEE! CHOI JAEHEE!" Jihyun started chanting on the mic followed by the other students. "Oh God why." She scowled as she finally stood up. Baekhyun slung his arm around her shoulder and lead her to the stage. "I swear I'm gonna kill you, Baekhyun." She cussed that only Baekhyun can hear. "I'm scared." He taunted which he received a death glare from her.

Jihyun and Daniel was the first to try as they were given a sugary gum instead of a pepero. When they started, the camera was focused on them and was showing on the VCR. Everyone was screaming in glee.

They finally cut it off as Taeyeon took the tiny gum as she measured it with the ruler. "1.4 mm!" She announced.

Then the second was Yuri and Minho and theirs was measured with 0.8 mm which was the best record so far.

The others failed to beat the two and finally it's Jaehee and Baekhyun's turn. "Let's beat them." Baekhyun whispered and she rolled her eyes at him.

They both took the candy and placed it on their lips.

Baekhyun took a very big bite that their lips are already touching. Her eyes widened as she decided to cut it off but Baekhyun held her neck to keep going.

When their teeth are almost touchng, Baekhyun finally cut it off and he gave it to Taeyeon.

Taeyeon measured it with the ruler as her eyes widened, "0.3 mm!" She beamed and everyone clapped their hands.

"You guys are monsters." Both Jihyun and Yuri joked at the same time.

The other couples went off the stage as they remained standing on the center. "For the prize, you are given the opportunity to tell the whole world about how you feel about each other."

"Oh I'm doomed." Jaehee scowled under her breath.

"Please don't be cheesy." She whispered at him.

Baekhyun first took the microphone as he slung his arms around her shoulders, "Choi Jaehee, the only girl I loved the most-"

"You don't love me and mom?!" Jihyun interrupted. "Don't interrupt!" He frowned.

"-She's the only girl who lights up my boring world. She is my oxygen. She makes me happy all the time but no actually I'm so annoyed of her earlier.

Our first meeting wasn't that nice but it's one of the best events in my life because I met her. I don't know but she has this glow around her that is so tempting and attractive and she always makes me want her all the time. Even though I've earned a lot of hits here and there, I don't care because it's her and its not painful.

Everything about her is special, evrything about her is perfect and God loves me a lot because he gave her to me. The first time she broke up with me, my world literally collapsed that I don't know if I want to live anymore. She is my everything and I can't live without her."

Everybody clapped for Baekhyun's speech as Jaehee scratched her head. He gave the mic to her with a heartily smile and slung his arm around her and pulled her closer.

"Uhm, that's exaggerated." She started with a small chuckle. "Hey! It's not!" He protested.

"Uhmmm.... so uhhhhh.. yeah.. I dont want to sound cheesy.... He is a nice boyfriend. And-and, he is so whiny and he gets jealous all the time, it's actually pretty annoying, there's this one time he gets jealous over my dog. But despite all of that, he is a very loving guy who gives his whole love to his girlfriend and I'm just lucky to be that one. His love is more than anything that I sometimes ask myself, how could he love me so much? I could dump and hurt him anytime. One time, a guy courted me, I'm already with Baekhyun at that time, the cool and handsome guy told me, 'I'm much better than him.  I could give you everything you want, just be with me. He doesn't a deserve a girl like you' I seriously regret the time when I had to consider the guy's offer because you know, he is a super cool guy. But a thought came to me, can he also give the love Baekhyun gave to me? Probably no. Baekhyun doesn't deserve a girl like me? It's more like the other way around.  How could I accept all his love when I can't even give it all back? I'm the one who doesn't deserve him. How could that guy ask a girl out even though she already have a boyfriend? That's like being disrespectful.

Even though I have once broke his heart, he still stayed and waited to be with me again. Even though I make fun of him all the time, he still stayed. I am always surprised of Baekhyun's loyalty to me. So to sum it all up, this guy is precious to me." She ended her speech as she wrapped her arm around his waist.

The audience was awed at how she delivered her speech while Baekhyun stared at her with an awe-struck smile. "I know it's cheesy but yeah, it's Valentine's." She added as she thought the
