So it was already the first day of the winter vacation for this year. Jaehee was planning on going to somewhere which there's no snow, somewhere like in Rio de Janeiro. She was dreaming to go there because heck everything there is just awesome.

 

But then, it would be too sad for her to spend her vacation alone there because the whole gang was planning to spend the Christmas altogether.

 

Sad life it is.

 

So for the past week, after that time when Baekhyun had dragged Jaehee to 'talk' to her, well it’s been silent. Jaehee has been ignoring Baekhyun's whole presence and Baekhyun was just being a good boy as he decided to just shut his mouth when he's around her.

 

Jaehee has been spending most of her time alone and sometimes with Taemin. Taemin is really a caring and sweet person. He always manages to make the grumpy girl laugh and smile. He always checks up on her if she's okay or what. And the nice thing is, he's being a really good boy. He's not the annoying, grumpy and talkative type of boy, Jaehee used to know. He's changed to someone really sweet, fluffy and he's all cutesy.

 

Maybe Baekhyun has been quiet but inside he's not. He's like the Kilauea volcano, he's erupting everytime and he was trying too hard not to make it obvious that he's drop dead angry and jealous whenever Taemin was sticking with Jaehee and Jaehee looks like she's enjoying his company that infatuated Baekhyun the most.

 

He needs to get in action or else he'll lose something that's always been his.

 

 

 

Right now, Jaehee was sitting on a couch with the others inside D.O's house. It's been planned that they will spend their two weeks’ vacation in D.O's family's vacation house. More like a mansion. Near the vacation house was their winter resort that is the most famous in the whole Korea. There features skiing, snowboarding, cable car and more winter activities. But the highlight there is their skydiving feature which Jaehee has been dying to try.

 

 

"Who's still not here?" D.O asked. "Sulli, Baekhyun and Kris is still not here." Onew answered.

 

"Why the hell are they taking so long?" Jaehee grumbled as she scowled her face impatiently. Taemin chuckled beside her, "Relax Jae. They'll come so- Oh here's Kris!"

 

Everyone turned their heads to look at Kris who's grinning sheepishly, "Sorry guys."

 

"Don't grin too much. Your gums are blindingly shiny." Jaehee mocked and Kris huffed.

 

After a minute, Sulli arrived too but she's with a 3 years old kid. Her eyes wandered around and it stopped on Taemin and Jaehee who's sitting together. Her heart wobbled and she looked away and smiles, "Guys, I'm really sorry I brought my brother. No one's gonna take care of him in our house and I decided to just bring him with me if that would be okay to all of you."

 

Everyone smiled in glee. Yuri, Zelo, Tao, Minho and Sehun all huddled around the cute kid who looks lost. "That would be really okay." D.O smiled bright.

 

"Thanks a lot guys. By the way, his name is Kyungsan. He's 3 years old.".

 

"Waaah. He's really cute." Jaehee smiled as she stared at Kyungsan who's looking lost being surrounded by a lot of hyungs and noona. "Yeah. It runs in our genes." Sulli grinned. "Psh. Cocky." Jaehee teased and Sulli grinned heartily.

 

After like a century. Baekhyun arrived, wearing shades.

 

"AFTER CENTURIES BYUN BAEKHYUN YOU FINAL-"

 

Xiumin was cut off when Baekhyun stood in front of them and took out his shades looking completely changed.

 

Well Byun Baekhyun here had dyed his hair and he's wearing eyeliner, again. But like in a ier way.

 

And here he showed his infamous smirk that he didn't show for months after he got into a relationship with Jaehee. "Am I that gorgeous to leave all your jaws hanging?"

 

Jaehee scoffed and rolled her eyes. Oh he's back to being a jerk. The I'm-so-gorgeous-praise-me-you-peasants- kind of jerk.

 

"Woah there Baek. WOAH." Chanyeol said as he stared at Baekhyun up and down. Baekhyun blew a raspberry, his smirk not leaving his lips, "Oh come on guys! Don't melt my gorgeous face with your stares!"

 

Chen frowned and threw a pillow right on Baekhyun's face, "."

 

"So tell us Baekhyun, why did you suddenly change your looks?" Suho asked, crossing his arms. "Uhm well. I just want to melt someone's heart. Again."

 

Jaehee can't help but to scoff out loud and roll her eyes. Didn't this jerk know? She hates boys who are trying to look badass and rebel just to impress everyone. She preferred cute guys (*whispers* but at the same time hot.)

 

Silence and awkwardness took over the place until Jaehee stood up impatiently, "When are you guys deciding to go? Because if all of you are going to leave tomorrow, I'm outta' here." She grumbled and took her bag.

 

"Haha." D.O and Chanyeol laughed awkwardly. D.O called a maid to call the drivers and prepare the vans they will use.

 

All of them stood up and started taking their bags.

 

Jaehee was standing when Baekhyun suddenly showed up in front of her, "Hey there beautiful." He winked and she could only gag.

 

Tao who's standing beside Jaehee, started hitting Zelo on the arms while laughing nonstop, "PUAHAHAHAHA HAVE YOU HEARD AND SAW WHAT BAEKHYUN HYUNG DID?! OH MY GOLLY THAT WAS SO PRICELESS!" Tao laughed, clutching his aching stomach.

 

"YAH!" Baekhyun yelled. Tao ignored him and continued laughing. "What? What happened?" Zelo asked, confused.

 

Tao stopped and stood in front of Zelo and imitated what Baekhyun did, "So he was like... Hey there beautiful *winks*"

 

"OMFG BAEKHYUN HYUNG!" Zelo roared in laughter, as he was the one now who was hitting Tao.

 

"Will you two stop mocking me?" Baekhyun gritted on his teeth.

 

 

 

It was already 10 am and everyone is ready to leave. Jaehee sat on the seat beside the windows and plugged her earphones in her ears.

 

Taemin was about to sit beside her when Baekhyun suddenly showed up and beat him to it. "I believe this is my seat." He smirked at Taemin and Taemin could only roll his eyes at him.

 

Taemin decided to sit on the back, in between of Jonghyun and Key.

 

Jaehee smelled someone's perfume beside her and she knew where it belongs. Heck she loves inhaling his scent. "Why the hell are you seating beside me, Baekhyun" She sneered, without looking at him.

 

The engine started and the driver drove off.

 

"Oh isn't that sweet? You knew that I sat here without looking at me! Oh lover's instincts." He cooed and scooted closer to her until their bodies are touching. Jaehee gritted her teeth and turned to him.  "Taemin was supposed to sit here, not you."

 

Baekhyun just couldn't help but to be offended. Yes they broke up, but that doesn't mean that he's not supposed get near her. Baekhyun scoffed, "What I can't? Do I have no rights to sit somewhere I want? Was his name imprinted on this seat? No, right? Stop ing around." He sneered, scooted away from her and stared at front with a scowl on his face. His mood totally spoiled.

 

Jaehee was taken aback so she decided to just shut up. She knew that he offended him and it might be worst if she argued even more.

 

She heard him sighed out loud and she turn her head to look at him, having to see him staring at her. "Look Jae I'm sorry. I just got annoyed and I don't mean to say that ing word." Baekhyun apologized, staring right through her eyes.

 

Jaehee felt like she was being jailed by Baekhyun's eyes. The way he stares at her is just intimidating, menacing yet she can see sincere inside of it. She was being trapped again by his eyes.

 

They were having a long staring fight until Jaehee looked away, "Yeah, I know. I mean, I'm sorry too for offending you. And I'm sorry again for ing around like you know... I mean is I expected Taemin to sit beside me and then it turns out to be you and-"

 

SO AWKWARD.

 

"Alright Jae. I understand." He chuckled, cutting her off from blabbering too much. He knows very well everytime Jaehee blabbers; it means she's awkward yet sincere.

 

She scrunched up her face, feeling embarrassed.

 

She looked out the window to ease the awkward air just then seconds later, she felt Baekhyun's head on her lap. Her eyes widened.

 

"I'm really sleepy. I just need something to lie on." He mumbled.

 

"GET OFF ME YOU " She hollered but Baekhyun was already 'sleeping' when he started snoring.

 

Her eyes soften at his peaceful sleeping face. She misses staring at his face. Heck she's been longing to caress his cheeks.

 

Wait, why is she feeling like this? She's supposed to feel annoyed; after all she actually hates it when someone lies on her lap. Yes she already forgiven him but she believes that she's supposed to feel angry, irritation, hatred and everything.  But why? Why is she feeling butterflies and fireworks in her stomach again?
