You/Bang Mina/I

-16 years old

-Father is commander in South Korean Army

-Brother is Bang Yongguk, who is MIA (I dont want him to be dead, -.-... lets see how the story pans out)

-Moves with Mother to a small village south of the country to stay safe-r. 

-Loves to read and uses Himchans books, they start to write to each other but Mina's heart is slowly breaking as she knows he could die any minute. 

Kim Himchan

-21 years old.

-Currently fighting for the South Korean Army.

-Has mother, father (who is serving too) and younger brother Daehyun(who is also serving).

-Loves to read, and shares that in common with Mina, they start writing to each other often and he starts to fall for her.  

Kim (Jung)Daehyun

-16 years old.

-Youngest member of the Kim family often reffered to as 'maknae' by his mother. 

-Cute and loves to eat!

-Gets jealous of Himchan having a girl in the army, but will he betray his brother and act on sudden feelings he has for Mina?

Bang Yongguk

-22 years old.

-Mina's older brother and currently MIA(missing in action).

-He was drafted after the attack on Incheon on 25 June, to work under his fathers command. 

-Kind hearted oppa, who never wanted to follow into his dads footsteps. He comes across rough but is like a marshmellow!

Jongup - Zelo - Youngjae

-Minor characters. 

-Jongup is 16, Zelo is 15 and Youngjae is 17. 

-They are unable to fight for their country because of health issues and are more of reserves...

-Youngjae has feelings for Mina. 

-Zelo bugs Mina and tries to take her attention.

-Jongup only cares about dancing, but due to lung problems fears he'll never get a chance to acheive his dream.
