Demonic

Description

Park Bom, bestselling author of the book The Life of Demon Incubus, decided to leave the glamorous lights of New York and moved to a backwoods town called Driftwood for a new setting and inspiration. She bought a large Victorian house in the middle of the forest, and later discovered that numerous secrets came along with this house.

One of these secrets has to do with her dreams. Ever since she moved to Driftwood and stayed in the house, a handsome myterious and dark stranger would come to her dreams and ravished her in the most delectable and pleasurable way imaginable. But, are these dreams real after all? And what does the stranger have to do with her? Who is he?

Another one of these secrets was the peculiar activities that took place inside the house; these left Bom scared and horrified, and soon she discovered that there was more to the house than it seemed...

As secrets are revealed, truths are exposed, as the real identities of the citizens of Driftwood emerged, and as darkness unveiled itself, Park Bom must find a way to banish the shadows and the beautiful stranger.

If she didn't, the cost could be her death........

(Here's a little teaser!)

The rhythmic ticking of the clock on the nightstand was the only audible sound in the room. It echoed through the room and bounced off the walls, making the night seemed even more ominous.

The wind outside was getting quite strong for some reason; it blew against the windows and the trees shook its branches violently like it was yelling. In the far distance a howl could be heard, and the moon was brighter than ever. Leaves on the ground swirled with the wind, and the rustling sound outside was very much like footsteps.

And, suddenly, the windows creaked open letting out a sound that was similar to the floorboards. It slowly opened wide and the wind blew through into the room making the air laced with cold and dampness. She buried herself even deeper inside the covers, and moved in the bed as she tried to ignore the sound of rustling outside. Even though in deep sleep, she could see from the corner of her eyes, at the opened windows that was allowing the moonlight to shine through. It reflected in the wooden floor, and chased off the shadows that was previously there.

From the corner of her eyes, she could see something materializing in the moonlight. Something, someone.

She could feel the wind caressing her skin as she tried to open her eyes fully and get up but she couldn't. A figure was appearing between the shadows and the bright moonlight, but she couldn't make out what it is. She felt more wind against her face as the rustling sound outside got stronger every second. And then, it was silence.

Silence?, she thought. But after thinking that she was dreaming, she closed her eyes and willed herself to sleep.

Sleep didn't come though, for her ears picked it up: the sound, the sound of the floorboards creaking, the exact sound that she made when she walked on it. She lay there, half sleeping and half conscious. She felt a shadow fallen over her on the bed, and the creaking of the floorboards was replaced by the sound of the mattress on the bed sinking deeper and deeper as the shadow climbed on the bed. She thought she saw a figure, but haziness of sleep blurred her ability to see and think.

She felt it then, the cold. It was not the freezing kind of cold, but the kind of cold that brought a little dampness. Like a liquid, she felt it sweeping across her arms. Strangely, she felt like it was a caress. It then moved, and she could felt it all over her body. On her arms, on her cheeks, in her hair, over her face, on her lips, down to her legs under the covers, and....between her thighs.

She frowned in her sleep from the sensation that the cold was causing her, and she turned over to the left side. She felt something fanning on her face, something that was very much like breathing. Her eyelids were as heavy as a rock, but she could distinguish a black figure in front of her.

The cold once again surrounded her whole body, making her shiver with its gentle caresses. She felt it slithering, like a snake, down under the covers and to her thighs. She tossed over, and was immediately jolted by the thumping sensation between her legs. She felt her legs opening, and the cold slipping in. Her frown was etched deeper on her face as a delectable sensation overtook her. Unconsciously, her hand gripped the sheets on the bed and with all her strengths willed herself to wake up as the sensation continued to thrive in her blossoming like a black rose. Down south she could feel a delicious friction in between her milky legs, and her grip on the sheets was tighter as she tried her best to ignore the sensation in her body and the pooling in her low stomach. She curled and uncurled her legs, crumpling the bed sheets as she tossed and turned. She felt sweat making its way down her forehead, and her whole body felt like it was on fire. It was as if an invisible force was preventing her from getting up, and she continued to struggle as the push and pull at the end of her lower body part continued, the sensation in her like a low humming in the night.

And, as suddenly as it came, the cold disappeared completely. The heady sensation in her slowly disperse as everything came back to normal. Her whole body felt lighter, whereas just seconds before she felt like it was pinned down to the bed. The movements in between her thighs disappeared also, bringing some kind of strange satisfaction and relief.

Her eyelids bursted open and she sat upright in the bed. Looking all around her, she found everything to be the way it was before she went to bed. Except one thing though, the windows. She could have sworn she close them before she went to sleep. Stepping down from the bed, she wobbled in her steps as she approached the glass surfaces that looked into her bedroom. Strange, she thought, her whole body was sore for some reason.

Looking out into the night, she was greeted by the moonlight and the thick silence that covered the whole forest around her house. There was no more wind, no more rustling, no more creaking, no more shadows, no more...The silence was interrupted when the clock on her nightstand ticked 1 am. She closed the windows, and sat on the edge of the bed.

She recalled her memories and what happened just mere minutes ago, and thought...

Was that a dream?

Chapter 32: Hmm, how interesting...I'm actually a little confused about how I feel about this ending. Is reincarnated Seunghyun like the demon Seunghyun: dark and mysterious and y? ;) And as pilyangsweet pointed out, what if Bom just agreed to be with demon Seunghyun as is, since she wouldn't be like Jenny? The story between Jenny and d.Seunghyun wasn't really clarified either. Anyway, I enjoyed your writing immensely, like with all your other stories. Your descriptions are absolutely gorgeous.
