The next morning, Kyuhyun woke up very refreshed, a satisfied smile on his face as he lazily rolled in bed, just tossing around and thinking about how his life had changed in the past five months.

He could still clearly remember the details of the night before, still feel the warmth of Siwon’s touch and the way his body ignited on fire simply by the intense look the man was giving him. He didn’t know why he was feeling that way, and he wanted to blame it on the hormones and the fact that he was very aroused, yet, he knew that wasn’t the only reason. He would like to figure it out though before it was too late.

Letting out a yawn, he let his hands touch the spot where Siwon was sitting the night before, slightly blushing before he moved them to rest on his baby bump, a faint sad smile stretched across his lips as he recalled the main reason he was there, giving Siwon the baby growing up inside him. He couldn’t wish for anything more because he was only doing his job. Even though it seemed more than that, the way he felt around Siwon and the way the older treated him, but he didn’t know if he should expect anything from him.

Gently running his hands over his tummy, he hoped things wouldn’t be awkward between them. It wasn’t the first time he helped him, but it was the first time Siwon did. So, taking a deep breath, he finally left the bed to clean up.

It was still early for Siwon to go to work so Kyuhyun knew he would be home, thus as he headed downstairs, his heart started beating out of tune, stopping in his tracks and closing his eyes to take short deep breaths.

“Are you okay?”

The voice startled him, making him slightly jump in his place as he gripped on the staircase rail. He could feel his cheeks on fire as flashes of the night before ran before his eyes, letting him imagine Siwon half- and as his mouth worked on his shaft.

Swallowing the imaginary lump gathering in his throat, he hardly managed to will the images away as he cleared his throat and nodded before greeting the man.

“Good morning”

“Good morning. Come on, breakfast is ready”

Siwon smiled then turned around to head back to the kitchen, forgetting that he was actually heading to his room to get his things.

The older could barely sleep the night before, and just like Kyuhyun, he couldn’t shake off the feeling of the younger’s hot cavern around his prick, or the way he sensually touched him with his slender fingers. His heart was flipping in a way it never did before, making him confused and curious about the whole thing. He knew it was wrong to ask for more, but his body yearned for more touches, more caresses, and more of… Kyuhyun.

Ruffling his hair in helplessness, he couldn’t seem to drift to sleep until he started doing some push-ups and sit-ups, driving Kyuhyun’s image away to clear his brain, and also hoping things wouldn’t be awkward between them because they would still have to live together for several months.

He didn’t want to mislead Kyuhyun, but he still needed to figure out the powerful force that always drew him toward the young boy, the reason why he couldn’t say no to him, and the reason why he simply enjoyed being around him.

Trailing behind Siwon while cursing his body for giving him such trouble, Kyuhyun didn't see the man already stopping and thus he ended up bumping into him.

Rubbing his nose with a scowl, he looked up to find Siwon surprisingly smiling at him, emitting a little pout from the surrogate as he threw him a glare.

“Why are you smiling? It hurts!”

Kyuhyun whined and Siwon’s hand soon joined him in rubbing his nose, making his heartbeat accelerate again as he dropped his arm and just stared at him.

“Familiar, ha?”

Siwon asked and Kyuhyun perked his eyebrows together as he tried to figure out what he meant. However, when Siwon’s smile broadened, his mouth formed an O as he remembered that it indeed happened before.

Too lost in his thoughts, he didn’t notice Siwon stopping and so he ended up bumping into the older’s back. The latter turned around with raised eyebrows, looking at the surrogate who was rubbing his aching nose with a sore face.

“Where’s your head at?” Siwon exclaimed before turning around again and unlocking his door, not expecting an answer from the surrogate.

Kyuhyun closed his eyes briefly, inhaling a deep breath to stop the urge of saying something witty or snarky because Siwon was his client after all, and he would have to at least try to not get offended by his words anymore.

Kyuhyun couldn’t help but let out a short laugh as he realized how far they had gone from that day to now.

“So where’s your head at?” Siwon teased, again not expecting to get an answer as he turned around and walked to the fridge to get Kyuhyun’s milk.

The surrogate took a seat on the counter, the smile still on his face as he didn’t waste time in digging his breakfast. He was unexpectedly happy about the turn of events with him and Siwon. At first he was so angry at him all the time, but as he started to know him better, he grew very comfortable around him, too comfortable maybe, which was a good thing and a bad thing at the same time.

He didn’t realize he was frowning until a finger poked the middle of his eyebrows and when he looked up, Siwon was worriedly eyeing him.

“Aren’t you late for work?”

He asked while tilting his head to the side, trying to avoid the subject because he couldn’t tell Siwon that he was scared of what was coming after the baby was born.

Luckily it worked, because Siwon was indeed late as he rushed out of the kitchen and headed upstairs to get his things. When he was about to leave, he walked back to the kitchen and planted a kiss on Kyuhyun’s temple, totally surprising him.

“Call me if you need anything”

After getting a short nod, he left Kyuhyun sitting there confused and battling with his heart. Siwon had been kissing him a lot lately and it wasn’t making it any easy for him.

Later that afternoon, when Kyuhyun just got back from his yoga classes, he was in such a good mood, walking to the kitchen to find something to eat, humming to a certain song his mother used to sing to him before sleep.

Picking up a chocolate pudding and a spoon, he went back to the living room and sat on the couch, stretching his legs over the coffee table as he started enjoying his snack. He was relaxed and happy because he also stopped by his apartment and talked to his brother, which was something he hadn’t done in a while.

Still humming, he could suddenly feel something strange in his stomach. He sat still waiting to see if it would happen again, but when he felt nothing, he just continued eating and humming, even singing now. Then it happened again, this time he felt it stronger. He quickly put the pudding on the table and rested his palms on his belly, massaging it for a while as he anticipatively waited for it to happen again, yet nothing. However, as he thought about it for a moment, he slowly started humming and there it was again. His face broke into a wide grin as he figured out what was happening. The baby was kicking.

Without further ado, he stood up, picked up his keys and walked out of the apartment. He was so excited about it that his hands never left his belly bump.

Luckily, he didn’t wait for long to find a cab, and during the ride, he kept on imagining what Siwon’s reaction would be like. He couldn’t wait to tell him about it as he was sitting on the edge of his seat waiting for the car to stop.

Fifteen minutes later, he was there standing by the elevator after asking the receptionist which level Siwon was in. At first they didn’t want to let him come up without an appointment, but when he asked to call Hyukjae, they even bowed to him as they led him to the lift.

As the elevator door opened and he could see Hyukjae waiting for him, he smilingly walked toward him in a fast pace. The secretary on the other hand, was worriedly eyeing him, afraid something was wrong since it was the first time Kyuhyun had come to the office since the pregnancy, but as he caught on the very wide smile on his face, he sighed in relief and waited for him to tell him what was going on.

“The baby is kicking!”

Kyuhyun cheerfully announced, causing Hyukjae to immediately clap his hands together in excitement.

“Really! Oh my god, can I feel it?”

Kyuhyun thought for a moment, wanting Siwon to be the first one, but Hyukjae was practically the baby’s uncle so he didn’t mind.

“Go ahead!”

Hyukjae led his palm where Kyuhyun was motioning for him to put it, but as he waited, a disappointed look was creeping on his face when he felt nothing.

“Wait”

Kyuhyun said before he started humming again, shortly after feeling the kick and making Hyukjae squeal as his face broke into a wide gummy smile.

“Siwon will be so excited! Go ahead!”

Kyuhyun eagerly nodded before heading to the office Hyukjae motioned for him to go to, opening the door without knocking and instantly freezing in place when he was met by several men and women sitting around what looked like a meeting table.

Siwon who was leading the meeting, had his eyes bulged out when he caught on Kyuhyun standing at the door.

“What are you doing here?” He unconsciously found himself firmly asking when everyone in the room started whispering between them.

“C-Can I talk to you?” Kyuhyun shyly muttered, not liking the stares thrown at him as he covered his belly bump with both arms.

“Don’t you see I’m working?”

Again, Siwon felt the words shoot out of his mouth without thinking, regretting it right after but he didn’t want to show it in front of his employees. Kyuhyun hurtfully eyed him for a second before bowing and leaving the room with an apology. His eyes were b with tears and he couldn’t believe how harsh Siwon was without even knowing the reason he was there.

“What happened?”

Hyukjae immediately was by his side, shocked by the tears now flowing down his face.

“H-He’s busy”

Kyuhyun let out a couple of sniffs, head bent down as he barely held back his sobs. Hyukjae instantly felt guilty because he didn’t warn him that Siwon was at a meeting, but he thought with such news, Siwon wouldn’t mind at all.

“I wanna g-go home” Kyuhyun muttered as he tried to walk away, but Hyukjae gripped his arm and stopped him.

“You can’t go home like this. Wait, I’ll talk to Siwon”

Kyuhyun frantically shook his head and managed to put a fake smile to assure Hyukjae that he was okay.

“I’m fine”

“No. At least let me call Henry so he can drive you”

Kyuhyun slightly nodded, still protectively holding his belly as he whispered a little thank you.

During the ride back home, Henry was trying to start a conversation with Kyuhyun because he was worried about him. The boy was still crying although it showed that he was suppressing his tears but it didn’t work.

It had been five months since the driver always stopped by Siwon’s house to deliver Kyuhyun food like usual, and as time passed, Kyuhyun started inviting him in and even making him play games with him from time to time. Seeing the goofy smile the driver always gave him each time he stopped by, Kyuhyun couldn’t help but like him. He even got to know him better such as why he worked as Siwon’s driver at such a young age, and found out that the boy was taking his father’s place since the elder was sick and couldn’t work anymore. The situation felt so familiar to Kyuhyun and he just couldn’t help but liking to hang out with him and Henry appreciated it. That was why he was so concerned about him right now.

“Kyuhyun? What’s wrong?”

He hesitantly broke the silence, sneaking a glance at the rearview mirror as he worriedly eyed the crying boy.

“I’m okay, Henry. Don’t worry” Kyuhyun assured him with what was intended to be a smile, yet it only turned out as a flinch from his upper lip, but Henry was still not letting the matter go.

“Did Siwon-ssi do something? Listen, I’ve known Siwon-ssi for a long time, he’s not as cold as he seems, he just sometimes don’t know how to show his feelings properly”

Kyuhyun intently listened to Henry’s words, chewing on his bottom lip as he figured he was at fault as well for barging into a meeting like that. He didn’t know anything about business, but the way those people stared at him must have made Siwon feel uncomfortable.

“Thanks Henry” He smilingly thanked the petite driver whose face broke into a grin, proud of himself for getting Kyuhyun to smile.

Back at Twosome Corp., Hyukjae was furious at his friend’s behavior as he waited for him in his office, impatiently pacing the room for what felt like hours until Siwon stepped in.

“What’s wrong with you?”

Siwon was startled by Hyukjae’s question and the angry look he was giving him, not in the mood to play a guessing game.

“What?”

“You idiot! What did you say to Kyuhyun?”

As Siwon realized what Hyukjae was talking about, he walked to his desk and sat down with a deep sigh, closing his eyes and leaning back on the chair.

“He interrupted an important meeting” Siwon defended, emitting a scoff from his friend who walked toward him and banged his hands on the desk to get his attention.

“You hurt him!”

That made Siwon jerk his eyes open as he curiously stared at Hyukjae wanting to hear more about what happened. He did feel bad about the way he reacted to Kyuhyun’s visit, but he had to be professional around his employees.

“Do you even wonder why he came here to see you?”

Siwon clenched on his jaw, Hyukjae’s words making him feel guilty as he noted that Kyuhyun must had a good reason to stop by his office.

“What did he want?”

“Now you care?”

Hyukjae was really disappointed in him, seeing how Kyuhyun was very excited to share with him the baby’s first kick, but instead he’s the one who got kicked out.

“Hyukjae” Siwon sternly called and the secretary sighed when he saw the guilt in his friend’s eyes.

“He wanted to let you feel the baby’s kick”

Siwon’s eyes popped out, feeling speechless all of a sudden, his insides scolding the hell out of him now that he found out what Kyuhyun came to see him for.

“He selflessly came all the way here the second the baby started kicking”

Siwon abruptly stood up, a hand clasped over his mouth as he felt extremely awful for what he did.

“Where is he?”

“He was crying so I-“

“Crying?” Siwon shockingly cut him off, the idea of Kyuhyun crying made his heart ache. He didn’t know he was that mean, he didn’t even know why he acted that way.

“Of course you idiot!”

Siwon pitifully stared at his friend who could only shake his head with a sigh.

“I sent him with Henry. He wasn’t doing good”

“Cancel everything I have today”

Hyukjae nodded as he watched his friend rush out of the office.

“Yes boss”

As he drove to his apartment, Siwon was scolding himself big time for the way he acted. He was very surprised to see Kyuhyun at his office and he was worried for a second that something happened to him or the baby. However, when he saw the smile that preceded the shocked expression of interrupting an important meeting, he just thought Kyuhyun was there to share some of his cravings or one of his outbursts he had been having lately due to the hormones.

So when Hyukjae told him about the real reason he was there, he felt like a jerk for hurting the boy. Kyuhyun could waited until Siwon got home to share the news with him, however, he didn’t. Once the kicking started, he rushed to Siwon’s office to tell him. Something the latter was so grateful for, but he had to mess everything up.

Reaching his house, Siwon immediately stormed inside, sighing in relief when he caught on Kyuhyun sitting on the kitchen counter and not locking himself in a room and crying alone.

Kyuhyun, who was back facing him, heard Siwon coming but he was too disappointed to care. He just focused on munching those cookies in front of him, as he secretly waited for the man to apologize.

Slowly walking toward him, Siwon rested his hand on Kyuhyun’s back, causing the boy to flinch at the sudden touch.

“Kyuhyun”

Siwon softly called but the surrogate didn’t even spare him a look.

“I’m sorry”

Still no words as Kyuhyun reached for another cookie from the jar.

“It was an important meeting and I was surprised to see you there”

Kyuhyun abandoned his cookie, pouting as he led his arms to his belly upon remembering the earlier scene.

“I’m really sorry! If I had known why you were there, I wouldn’t have acted that way”

The words made Kyuhyun snap his head at Siwon, realizing Hyukjae must’ve told him about why he was at the office in the first place.

“Hyukjae told me. Please forgive me?”

Siwon’s tone was sincere but Kyuhyun sent him a short glare before standing up and turning around to leave. Before he could exit the kitchen though, he slightly turned to look at Siwon again as he informed him.

“He’s not kicking anymore”

With that he left the room, leaving Siwon standing there, once again scolding himself and feeling disappointed in missing the baby’s first kicks.

For the rest of the day, Kyuhyun kept himself locked in his room and didn’t dare to come out. Siwon kept trying to coax him but nothing worked. He even tried with food, but Kyuhyun only opened the door to take the tray from his hands and once again locked the door.

When it was late evening, Siwon had surrendered, feeling mentally and physically tired so he decided to just head to bed.

Just as he started drifting to sleep, he felt a finger poking his stomach, but he shrugged it off thinking it was a dream at first, but as the poking turned painful, he opened his eyes and was very shocked to see Kyuhyun standing by his bed, thus he abruptly sat down, afraid something was wrong.

“Is everything okay?”

Kyuhyun was looking the other side, as he pointed with his finger to his baby bump.

“He’s kicking”

Siwon’s face broke into a grin as he excitedly gazed at Kyuhyun’s belly. However, as he looked up and realized that Kyuhyun was still not looking at him, he gently gripped on his hand as he spoke “Hey… still mad?”

Kyuhyun felt his heart about to explode at the soft touch on his hand and the tender tone in the older’s voice, knowing he can’t really stay angry at him for long. Taking a deep breath, he slowly turned to face him.

“A little”

Siwon smiled, never thought he would miss hearing Kyuhyun’s voice that much.

“I really am sorry”

Kyuhyun heaved a sigh before shortly nodding, then as he felt the baby kicking again, he led the hand holding his onto his stomach.

“Here”

Siwon couldn’t explain what he was feeling right now. It felt so nice sensing the baby’s kick that his smile was stretched from ear to ear.

“Hey there”

He softly whispered to the baby and Kyuhyun felt mesmerized by the way Siwon’s eyes were sparkling. However, as he was lost in admiring him, he suddenly felt another kick.

“Oh!”

“Are you okay?”

Siwon worriedly asked as he saw the little frown on Kyuhyun’s face.

“He’s kicking again… but here”

He confusedly exclaimed as he motioned for Siwon to give him his other hand then led it to another spot on his stomach where he felt a next kick.

“Why is he kicking in different spots at the same time?” It was Siwon’s turn to feel confused since there was kicking in two spots near each other.

“Maybe he’s kicking with both of his legs?”

Siwon chuckled, amused by the questioning look on Kyuhyun’s face before he focused on his baby again.

“Are you excited there?”

Kyuhyun bit on his bottom lip as he once again was drown in the way Siwon was talking to the baby. He silently watched him for a couple of minutes before he started fidgeting, bringing back Siwon to reality.

“Are you okay?”

“Sorry… my feet hurt”

Siwon instantly felt bad for making Kyuhyun stand up for too long, so he quickly apologized.

“I’m sorry. You must be tired. Go get some sleep”

Unconsciously, Kyuhyun found himself frantically shaking his head because he knew Siwon wasn’t done enjoying this moment with his baby.

“It’s okay. I just need to sit down”

Siwon was then on his feet as he helped Kyuhyun lay down on the bed before taking a seat beside him.

“You can keep talking to him. I don’t mind”

Kyuhyun shyly said, making Siwon prick a little smile before stretching his arm and gently caressing the surrogate’s hair.

“Wanna stay here tonight?”

The question caught him off guard, but he didn’t hesitate in shortly nodding.

“Can I?”

Siwon smilingly nodded before lying down as well on his side, putting some distance between them while his hand rested on Kyuhyun’s belly.

“He stopped”

Siwon informed, a dejected look on his face that made Kyuhyun feel sorry. So thinking back at that afternoon, he suddenly started humming to the same song, surprising Siwon who could only stare at him.

A few seconds later, Siwon felt Kyuhyun adjusting his hand on his stomach, and there he was kicking again. He couldn’t help but impressively smile at the connection between his baby and Kyuhyun.

Rubbing his thumb over Kyuhyun’s tummy, his eyes were fixed on the boy next to him who had his eyes closed by now, and suddenly wondered what would happen after the baby comes. He never really thought about it before, but seeing how Kyuhyun was treating his child even before he was born, he couldn’t help but imagine how it would feel like if he actually stuck around after.

“Were you ashamed of me earlier?”

Kyuhyun’s unexpected question snapped Siwon out of his thoughts as he shockingly stared at him.

“It’s okay if you were”

He nervously added when there was no immediate response, his heart doing a hurtful leap at the harsh silence. He didn’t dare to ask earlier because he was scared of the answer, but he really wanted to know.

Tears were caught up in his throat, however, as he felt his hand being gripped tightly, his eyes jerked open and he slightly gasped at the intense look Siwon was giving him, similar to the one he gave him the night before.

“Don’t ever say that”

Siwon sternly said, his other hand moving to caress Kyuhyun’s cheek.

“I have no reason to be ashamed of you. You’re amazing”

Kyuhyun nodded with a smile, fighting hard the tears that were threatening to escape.

“Thank you”

He softly whispered before closing his eyes again and resuming his humming, and Siwon understood that Kyuhyun didn’t want to talk about it any further, so the hand on the boy’s cheek moved back to his belly but without taking his gaze off of him.

Few minutes later, feeling the humming stop, Siwon lovingly smiled when he heard a little snore indicating that Kyuhyun had fallen asleep.

Scooting closer, he probed his body on his elbow, tenderly inspecting Kyuhyun’s sleepy face before he leaned down and pressed a kiss on the corner of his lips.

“You are indeed amazing”

I was going to reveal Donghae in this chap but it kept getting longer and longer (as usual),
so the next one for sure
