Cimmerian lands, a pure darkness beneath your average birth place; earth. In your deepest memories, in your only mortal life, takes your soul away; you are condemned to swallowing away each other's pain and strongest fears. 
Cimmerian, it's a place where no one should go to. Because those who were bravest enough will never be the same anymore.

When you start to think about yourself, you realize your life isn't any different than another one. Us humans all have our fears, our loved ones, our family, our future. We all dream and wish to have something or even to be someone else.
We sure have all our little complexes and difficulties, which may be called obstacles through our life path. The average human is educated for about twenty years, has his own love-romances, lives through pain and sorrow, finds himself befriend under friendship, and lives until the average one hundred year old.

The only difference? What you believe in.

Some have beliefs in ghosts, other in magic, other in soul mates. Some like to imagine themselves being a popular hero from their favorite TV [reality] show, or even someone different, thinking they would be 'cool' among their gang' friends or even rise through the popularity scale.

They're wrong.

Being different, being a hero, being someone you never though you were, is far more than 'cool'. Ask the approximate twenty thousand persons and THINGS different out of the 6,855,217,192 humans on earth, and the only thing you will recall is the terrible substitute they live, substitute to mortal pain.
It's constant crisis, chaos, terrible fears, true physical pain[unlike mortal pain which only causes pain which will seem like a joke to them], and moral pain a full-human will never feel. Okay, you have some powers, but that ain't 'cool' anyway.
It's a ten-meter away fiends and monstrosity slaying, fights whenever you are, and a terrible future. The only bonus you have is...you are not a regular human mortal, and you have weird powers which regular humans may call you as a freak. The only safest place for such people is a school. Not any school. It's a special school.

And today, in 2010, seven students will be directed to this school. Not any students.
