My name is Jung Soojung, but apart from my family, most people call me Krystal. 

I grew up in LA along with my older sister Sooyeon or as everyone calls her, Sica.

I’ve always been the good child, studying hard and doing what my parents say.

But for Sica… she’s always been in and out of trouble.

Partying all night, multiple boyfriends, sleeping during school and spending cash like it rained down from the sky… I’m surprised she even made it to college.

I didn’t see her that much during her college years, but she recently graduated and just got a job as an English teacher in Seoul, and bought her own apartment (which was of course still paid by mum and dad).

She had excitedly invited me to go stay with her during the holidays, and I gullibly agreed, thinking that it meant some sister bonding time after all those years… never thinking she would have another agenda in mind.

The second I arrived she ditched me to go on some two months trip to Europe with her best friend Tiffany, (who’s just as reckless by the way), and left an absurd role for me to play- to pretend to be her.

And that’s how I found myself standing outside the gates of a high school, bag in arm, shoes polished, books all ready.
