Joon POV

“Joon…Joon…Joon!”

Someone kept on calling my name so I woke up.

Eli sat next to the bed.

“Where…am…I?”

“You’re in the hospital…you were knocked out unconscious…I carried you here….”

“T-Thanks…”

We both sat in silence.

“Well…I’ll be going then…”

Eli stood up and began to leave.

“Eli…can I ask you something….?”

“Yea…?”

“How…did you know it was my birthday….?”

“Basement….That’s all I can say…and unforgettable eyes….” Eli said as he walked out the door.

‘Basement and unforgettable eyes…?’

~~~~~ Next day ~~~~~

 I walked to the café.

“Joon!!! Are you okay?!?!”

“I’m fine let’s get to work!”

Shin Woo nodded and went back to the store room with Kiseop to move in more of the fresh produce.

I walked up to Hoon.

“Hi Hoon!”

“We are redecorating today….here…”

He handed me a pair of overalls and a shirt.

“Thanks…”

I put them on and helped move in the rest of the produce and covered up the place with Shin Woo and Kiseop. Eli, Kevin and Hoon and Dong Ho went out to buy the paint.

“I want to climb!!”

“Fine….but be careful…I don’t time you need to go to the hospital two times in a row…”

Hoon was going to hold the ladder for me.

I started to paint the place in a pale blue colour.

‘This is fun!’

I stretched a little bit and I started to wobble.

“Woah!!”

Eli POV

I was about to walk into the café when I saw Joon about to fall off the ladder…..and land on Joon.

I ran inside.

“Are you okay….?” Hoon asked Joon.

“AHAHAHA!! I’m fine!”

‘He is so clumsy!!’

He got off Hoon and stood up.

“Oh hi Eli!!!”

“What are you doing….?”

“Falling off a ladder…?”

I rolled my eyes and left him.

“Bye see you guys later!”

“I’m going on a date with Shin Woo-"

Shin Woo slapped a hand over Kiseop’s mouth.

“N-Never mind!!!!”

Shin Woo dragged Kiseop out the door and I saw a half dead Kevin walking out along.

“Hyung…..are you okay….?”

Kevin just sighed.

“I’m just a bit….*sigh*…I just did something I shouldn’t have done….” He then walked out the door.

“WHY IS EVERYONE TALKING TO ME IN RIDDLES?!?!?!?!”

Eli was inside the storage room.

“Hey!! Joon can you pass me a couple more of the boxes outside…?”

I went and picked up the boxes and carried them inside.

Suddenly I tripped on a lever never the door.

I fell in and…

BANG

The door closed in on me.

Eli and I sat in the pitch black.

“Sorry….”

“I asked the wrong person to do the job…..”

I got my phone out and texted Shin Woo then the torch.

“Ah…”

I felt a sharp pain in my hand.

“Are you okay…? It’s just like that last time….”

“I-I-I remember….”

~~~~~ Flashback ~~~~~

“Joon can you go downstairs and get me a drink my friends are thirsty….plus you don’t have anything better to do….”

“Fine…”

I went down to the store room.

Her friends and Dong Yeon began to giggle and guys with her began to smirk.

‘She’s only turning 13 and she has at least 50 guys and 51 girls over…she only invited me to make me her servant…I might as well play along since I have nothing to do…'

Suddenly she locked me into the basement.

“Dong Yeon let me out!!!”

I started to bang on the door.

There was a dim light but everything else was dark.

“Can you please leave if you’re going to make that much noise….”

A guy leaning against the wall said.

He was listening to music.

“Sorry…”

“Do you want to listen to the music with me…?”

He asked passing me an ear bud.

I went over to him and put the ear bud in my ear.

“Why are you down here…?”

“The music up there is too loud and the whole place is filled in with s….”

“Oh…”

No one POV

Joon sat and next to me and began to fall asleep he suddenly leaned on me.

“You won’t remember me…..”

The light shone on his face.

“Because you never saw me…”

The light shone on his face revealing Eli’s face.

“Do you remember…?”

“I do….you were my friend….”

The light revealed our faces we were looking deeply into each other’s eyes.

“Are you okay!?!”

“We’re fine….”

Eli walked out of the room as quickly as possible.

I walked out too and saw Dong Yeon standing there.

“What…why are you here…”

“I was trapped….”

“Are you sure or did you purposely trap yourself inside….?”

I scrunched me fist.

I lifted my head.

‘I’ve had enough….’

“I’m not you…I don’t try that hard to get a guy who doesn’t even like me and is dating someone else….”

I was walking away but she grabbed me and slapped me in the face.

I felt the burning sensation on my right cheek.

“…stealing my boyfriend and turning his into a gay…you’re a disgraceful cousin….”

I could feel the anger rising inside me.

I just walked out the door.

Sunny POV

I searched through the internet and hacked into Joon’s medical history.

My eyes widened.

‘He’s a he’s a…..’

Ring Ring

I picked my phone up.

“Sunny! I need the info now…tell me by tomorrow…”

“But I-“

She hung up on me.

‘I need to talk to Joon tomorrow…’

~~~~~ The next day ~~~~~

Joon POV

‘I don’t need to go to work today! What should I do today-‘

“Joon!”

I turned around and saw Sunny running towards me.

“Joon can I talk with you….?”

“Sure….?”

We both walked to a nearby café.

“Joon….dong Yeon hired me to-“

“Sunny…don’t worry…I already knew….”

“R-Really….”

“You know my secret don’t you….are you doing it for money….?”

She nodded.

‘Poor girl….’

“You can come to my house today…I wanted to show you why I need the money…”

“Okay…”

‘Well the first girl did it for drugs, the second one wanted plastic surgery…..why would Sunny need it…?’

We walked to her house.

“Unnie!!!” A small shouted running towards Sunny.

“Minnie-ah!! Don’t run it will make your condition worse…”

“I was just so happy to see you and your boyfriend….?”
We both had a bit of awkward silence.

Joon and I started to cook up a pasta dish.

“Yummy!!” Minnie shouted happily.

Minnie went to sleep later on.

“Do you want some fruit…?”

“Sure…?”

Suddenly we began to hear Minnie cough hoarsely.

“What’s happening…?!”

“Minnie is having an attack!! Please make her sit upright I will get the medication!!”

Sunny ran off.

I sat Minnie up she began to cough up blood.

“Sunny!”

She came and she came and stabbed Minnie’s left thigh with the injection.

Minnie started to calm down.

“Is this why…”

“Yea…”

I sighed.

“If this is the reason then go ahead….I care more about a child’s life than my embarrassing secret…”

I began to leave.

“Joon…”

I stopped.

“My feeling for weren’t a joke...I like you and I wish you decide to become a guy….”

“Sunny I don’t know yet…..but I will keep your opinion in my head….”

Then I walked out the door.
