Disclaimer: I don't own Zhang Yixing/Lay (oh how I wish I do but... :D). This fan fiction was inspired by a real life experience of an EXO fan I know of. Some parts were of course edited and changed to fit the story and to make it seem more ‘fiction-y’ in a sense. :) If some scenes happen to be of similar to others, it's purely a coincidence. :)
Foreword
Every fan’s dream is to see their idol/s in person. But unfortunately, not all fans can fulfill this dream because of number of reasons. Being a fan is not as easy as it sounds. It’s not happiness and spazz mode all the time. There are a lot of moments wherein you’ll feel hurt, sad and mad. And in most times, there will be an issue of money.
And when it comes to money, one should know that the best investment they can make for themselves as fans is to save for the purpose of seeing and meeting the people they admire the most. So if you haven’t seen your idol yet in person, go ahead and start saving up. Don’t mind what others might say. You only get to live once so might as well make the most out of it. We never know when we might get the chance again or if we will ever have that chance again of meeting them. We never know what that first meeting has in store for us. Opportunities come and go, grab them while you still can.
