anyways, hello everyone! my name is Vicky and this is my first Valentine's Day event! i actually wanted to do this when i had set up my Secret Santa event inspired by Poster Paradise. but anyways, i thought that this would be a really fun idea to do! plus... who doesn't want some love to be spread around? sure, we may not have some actual real love from a real life person that we may want, or have, or something... but this is more in the spirit of fun and giving love a different kind of way. also... i rather want to spread more happiness and cheeriness despite that more lonely and singles feel unlove on this day. i don't want to see it like that, as i don't want to keep on being negative and rather be a person that tries to look on the bright side. but that's just me though. anyways, you can read the guidelines below of how this will run and what's it all about. i hope to continue this as a tradition here on aff throughout the years that i am on here. =] anyways, happy participating!!!

You, as the participant, is the Secret Admirer. You will be pretty much making something for someone that you admire. Therefore, you won't be making something for someone like how you would do in a Secret Santa event. This person is someone that you would like to show your appreciation to on this very special day called Valentine's Day. That Admired Person can be: an Author, a Subscriber, an AFF Friend, or whoever here on AFF. Just to let you know, your Admired Person will not even know they are a part of this event. I could tell them that a person admired them and present them with the gift as that is when they will know they were a part of this event.

Pretty much can be anything as long as it's appropriate. Can be any kind of graphic design, whether hand made or digital. Letter that you wrote, either scanned or photo taken uploaded to the internet. Trailer, Gifs, and other motion design. A story, one-shot, poem, or other literary makings. This is not limit to just these, you can create whatever it is that you would like to create, as long as it's appropriate. You would be gifting your Admired Person, and honestly, you wouldn't be expecting a gift in return, as this isn't Secret Santa, but Secret Admirer. The one thing you would get in return is an appreciation of "thank you" from your Admired Person. I hope that would be satisfactory to you.

To sign up, all you have to do is applied at this BLOG POST, leaving a comment that you would like to participate. Or if you like, making a blog yourself and leaving the link of your blog into the comment section of the MAIN BLOG. This is open to anyone and everyone. That's it, nothing else besides doing so and you would be later notified. Once you signup, you are able to back out, as the Admired Person you would like to appreciate wouldn't know that you're their Secret Admirer. Because... honestly, you wouldn't have told them now would you? Of course, you would tell me, so that I can keep track. But if something comes up, then something comes up and I cannot force you to make something for them.

If you have any inquiries about this event, please PM me for a private ordeal, or you may wall post me or leave a comment down below and I will respond to you as soon as possible. Again, you as the Secret Admirer will not be getting something in return by your Amired Person or the other Secret Admirers... unless it turns out that another Secret Admirer admires you as their Admired Person. This is simply YOU, the Secret Admirer will be giving to someone else.

You may subscribe if you like. By subscribing you would be notify of this thread's updates. Also, you will know when your gift has been posted for everyone to see on who you admired. You would actually send me the items you would like to give to your Admired Person, so well... that you will stay a Secret Admirer until the 14th of February. Then everything will be known to the public. And your Admired Person will finally learn that they have a Secret Admirer all this time.

This event is aimed to just be for fun and showing appreciation of love. It's just to give a kind feeling to those that you admire, or maybe not admire, but would like to make their day. Spreading something like this around will actually help things out bit by bit. Everyone deserves love, whether it'll be in small dosages or large quantities. Love is love, it's an unconditional kind of thing that others give to something or someone from the heart, mind, and soul. To love, you have to have loved at least one thing or living being in your lifetime.
