Sentimental,Excessive,OrSimplySimple?--{✦

So the items usually given to people on Valentine's Day varies. It depends on the person, the mood, or the thought of it. Some are cynical about this holiday. Some do not consider it important like Birthdays and Christmas. While others see it as a fun thing... and the rest, nothing special at all. Anyways, some usual gifts are teddy bears with hearts, a box of chocolate, cards, bouquet of flowers, balloons, and candy. Some even try to make it a special day and propose on this romantic day! Anyhow... do some simple things like for fun, sentimental value, and just dinner to do stuff. LOL, it just depends on who you are and how you think of it is. For me, I don't really celebrate it, only during school because it was like mandatory, but it was always fun. As you get older, you don't really celebrate it, unless you have like a significant other. For me though, I have a baby sister that passed away, and she was born on Valentine's Day. So... to me, I see it as a symbol of her Love that she was born on this day to bless my family and I. And so we get super excited for this day and just spoil her senseless as a birthday and as extra love that is always unconditional. How about you? What gifts have you've given or gotten?
