Kris had left China to attend a school in America that would educate him in the arts of baking sweets. Yixing was sad at first, but Kris wanted Yixing to wait for him and he would come back a great pastry chef and he would bring one of his own creations with him so that Yixing was the first to try it.

But when Kris does come back, what he expected to come back to was not at all what he had in mind.  Everything has change since the last time he had been in China and it wasn't exactly the scenery that had changed, but the person he has come to love, Yixing.
