Sooyoung closed her eyes at the impact of the water on her face. The water streamed down her flawless face and at the same time, everyone in the cafe had their attention on Sooyoung and the blonde standing up and holding on to the empty cup.

"You should stop when you still have the chance. I'm not stupid enough to believe what you have just said to me. A person like are nothing to me."

After those last, harsh, and cold words, the blonde put the cup on the table and stormed out of the cafe, leaving a speechless and wet Sooyoung behind.

"OH MY GAWD!! I'M GOING TO STRANGLE HER AND THEN THROW HER TO THE PIRANHAS!!!" Sooyoung laughed at the unharmful threat from her short friend that was fuming in anger in front of her. 

"Okay. I think you've seen enough movies for the-" 

But Sooyoung's short friend continued on with her rant. "AND THEN I'M GOING TO TELL 'E.T' TO COME DOWN AND KIDNAP HER!!!" 

At this point, Sooyoung was laughing aloud now, making passerbys think she was a lunatic. "Please-please just-" Sooyoung muttered in-between her laughter. But it went unheard. 

"AND THEN I WILL FEED HER TO THE SHARKS! YEAH! THAT SOUNDS REALLLLY GOOD!" Sooyoung could only smile as her short friend rubbed her hands together with a wicked smile. "Don't you agree Soo?"

It took Sooyoung another few minutes before she could even respond. Sooyoung took a deep breath, held her short friend by the shoulders and looked into her eyes.

"Lee Sunny. You can't do that to her." 

Sunny crossed her arms across her chest and narrowed her eyebrows together with an irritated expression. "Why not? She does whatever she wants to you."

Sooyoung sighed again and laid down on the green grass. "Because I like her."

Sunny scoffed and joined her friend on the grass. "Like? That's an understatement."

Sooyoung turned her head to look at Sunny in curiosity. "What do you mean?"

Sunny sat back up and looked at her friend in disbelief. "You honestly think I don't know?"

"..."

"Argh!" Sunny ruffled her hair and blew out a puff of air from before talking.

"You are heads over heels in love with that Jessica Jung." Sunny said Jessica's name with disgust. "That y, rude, twig body looking, disrespectful, bipolar, ice princess Jessica Jung!" At this point, Sunny was huffing in anger. 

Sooyoung turned back to looking at the sky. It was a beautiful afternoon. Looking at the sky always gave Sooyoung peace.

"Maybe that's why I'm in love with her." Sooyoung said with a dreamy smile.

"OH MY GAWD!!" Sunny straddled Sooyoung, grabbed her shoulders and shook the tall girl. "What has happened to you Sooyoung?! Are you possessed?! There is no logical reason why you would even fall for Jessica unless...Wait! Don't tell me-" Sunny had a terrifed look on her face while Sooyoung just rolled her eyes. 

"Here she goes again." Sooyoung whispered to herself...

"You're a secret agent." Sunny leaned downed and whispered.

"BWOHL?!" Sooyoung was indeed impressed by just how brainwashed Sunny has become after watching so much drama. 

"Taeyeon is a bad influence on you." Sooyoung answered and brought a hand over her forehead. "You are so crazy right now."

Suddenly Sunny pinned Sooyoung's wrists above her. "Take that back!!!"

Sooyoung decided to have some fun. At least Sunny wasn't insulting Jessica anymore. "NO!!"Sooyoung spat back and rolled over so Sunny was now on the ground. Sooyoung was laughing as Sunny struggled under her.

"Argh! You will pay dearly for saying that about Taeyeon!!!" Sooyoung's laughter was immediately subdued when Sunny let out a 'Amazonian' yell and pushed Sooyoung off her. 

"Oh !" Sooyoung ran for her life, as Sunny chased after her in full speed with books in hand, ready to be thrown. But even in that situation, both Sooyoung and Sunny had fun in all their activities, despite their differences.

"There's your girlfriend." Yuri whispered and nudged Sooyoung when Jessica entered the class room. 

"She's not my girlfiend. Yet." Sooyoung said with a smile. 

Yuri looked at Jessica, who was sitting at the end of the row. "She's hot but I heard she doesn't give a damn about people who like her."

Sooyoung hit Yuri's head with her pencil. 

"Ow! What the hell did-" 

"Something wrong Ms. Kwon?" The professor interrupted and looked at Sooyoung and Yuri disapprovingly.

"Nothing Professor. Sorry." Sooyoung and Yuri apologized.

"Please act like college students and be respectful. Unless you want to tell the whole class what was so interesting?" The professor asked seriously.

"No. Sorry." Sooyoung and Yuri apologized again. The professor nodded his head in acceptance and continued the lecture.

"Okay. Now back to the lecture. As I said earlier, in the event of a stress the system's 'fight or flight' system will automatically take place and..."

Sooyoung noted the professor's lecture but couldn't help but feel as if she was being watched. She turned her head to the right and saw Jessica looking at her. They held eye contact for a good minute before Jessica turned her head away as if it nothing happened.

"She was looking at me!" Sooyoung squealed in her head and felt herself getting hot. "That's good progress!"

Jessica walked out of the university's gates holding on to her books. It was a long day and she was tired. She sighed and looked at the sky. 

"Such a beautiful day." Jessica whispered to herself.

"I agree." Jessica turned around and saw a smiling Sooyoung in front of her. "What do you want Choi?"

Sooyoung shrugged and quickly took Jessica book away. Jessica glared at her while Sooyoung just smiled back and began walking away with Jessica's books. 

"Yah!" Jessica ran up to catch up with Sooyoung. "Give me my books!"

"No." 

"Hurry up." Sooyoung ignored Jessica and walked faster.

"No. N.O!!" Sooyoung yelled back in English whenever Jessica would tell her to return her books. Jessica could care less though. She blocked Sooyoung's path.

"I'm in no mood to play." Jessica said in a grave and deadly tone.

"I surrender. Here." Sooyoung held out Jessica's books at an arm's length and smiled at the ice princess. Jessica looked at Sooyoung skeptically before taking the books. 

"Do you never listen to me?" Jessica inquired.

Sooyoung stayed quiet.

"I guess you're deaf now." Jessica insulted. She was so tired of Sooyoung clinging on to her.

"If I listened to you, then you would always be alone." Sooyoung answered after a few minutes. 

Jessica looked up to Sooyoung and looked at her in bemusement. "What do you mean?"

Before Jessica could get an answer, a very familiar noise interrupted. 

"The bus!" And with those last words, Jessica quickly got on the bus. When the bus started moving, she turned around and saw Sooyoung, waving bye to her with a smile. 

Sooyoung kept waving until the bus that Jessica took disappeared. She turned around and began walking back to the dorms.

"I want to be there for you Jessica. That's why I don't listen to you." Sooyoung thought to herself with a smile.

Sooyoung was so engrossed with Jessica that she didn't realize she had already reached the dorms.

"What's with the creepy smile?" a voice interrupted Sooyoung's thoughts. Sooyoung recognized that voice really well.

"Shut up Sunny." Sooyoung lightly punched Sunny's arm. 

"Yah! No one does that to my girlfriend and gets away with it!" Before Sooyoung could even react, someone had hit her on the arm too...hard.

"OW!" Sooyoung glared at the person who had dared hit her. "TAEYEON! What the hell? I didn't even hit Sunny that hard!"

Taeyeon shrugged and hugged Sunny from behind. "Can you hurry up and open the door?"

Sooyoung shot Taeyeon another angry glance before opening the door to the room she shared with Yuri. Yuri was her dorm roomate.

"Where's Yuri?" Sunny asked and took a seat on Sooyoung's bed. 

"Here." Yuri entered the dorm room dramatically. "The queen has arrived." Yuri then walked into the room like a royalty. 

"Eww." Taeyeon said and rolled her eyes. "Where's my sister?"

Yuri sat on her bad and hugged her pillow. "Tiffany is at the library."

"And why are you here instead of studying with your girlfriend?" Sooyoung inquired.

"Because she's was in a study group. What's the point of me being there?" Yuri answered bluntly. "Anyways, enough about me and y girlfriend. What happened to you Shikshin?"

"What do you mean?"

Yuri suddenly threw teh pillow at Sooyoung. "What.do.i. mean?!!" Yuri said with gritted teeths. "Sunny. You better tell her what before I throw a dart at her."

Taeyeon laughed while Sunny cleared to explain. "Her royal highness, Kwon Yuri, requested your presence today at Soshi Grill. We have all decided to meet there. Why did you not come?" Sunny then looked at Yuri. "Are you satisfied? You royal pain in my ." Sunny asked jokingly and sat down again.

"Yes. I am. You deserve a promotion. I now promote you to head of the maids!" Yuri laughed at her own joke but stopped when she realized everyone else was looking at her in amusment. 

"I really don't know why Tiffany is dating you." Sooyoung commented, causing her to barely escape a dart. "Oh..now I know why. You're feisty."

"Shut up. Now tell me why you didn't show up today. We planned to meet did we not?" Yuri asked in anger, waiting for an answer. 

"Well...it's because, you see...I had to-"

"SPill it Choi!" Taeyeon exclaimed. "I don't have all day for this."

Sooyoung smiled nervously at her friends. "I had to-"

"You're too sweet Sooyoung!" Sooyoung was taken by surprise when their door room suddenly opened and a brunette came running in and hugged Sooyoung. 

"Tiffany?"

The brunette released the hug and gave Sooyoung her eyesmile. "You are so nice."

"Hello!" SooFany turned to look at Sunny, Taeyeon and Yuri who were all confused. Yuri was the one who spoke. "Care to explain Fany?"

Tiffany quickly kissed Yuri's cheek. "Hey sweetie."

"Why are you here? I thought you had a study group?"

"Finished early." Tiffany explained. Yuri nodded her head. Tiffany sat next to Yuri and hugged Yuri from the side and laid her head on Yuri's shoulder. "Your friend there is quite a romantic."

"Sooyoung? Romantic?" Taeyeon questioned and looked at Sooyoung from head to toe. "Yep. She has the looks of a romantic." Taeyeon laughed at her own joke and Sunny couldn't help but sigh at her girlfriend's childish behavior. 

"Please continue Tiffany and ignore my soon to be dead 'woman' walking of a girlfriend." Taeyeon stiffened at Sunny's words and mumbled a sorry. 

Everyone laughed at TaeSun's interaction. The atmosphere can't always be serious.

"So like I was saying, Sooyoung is such a romantic."

Yuri sighed. "You just said that. Get to the point."

"Sooyoung likes Jessica!" Tiffany blurted out happily and excitely as she hopped on the bed. 

"Please tell us something we don't know!" Yuri exclaimed in disinterest. 

Tiffany smiled and calmed down. "Sooyoung purposely carried Jessica's book to the bus stop so she won't be late like usual."

"You have?" Taeyeon asked and looked at Sooyoung. Sooyoung could only nod in response.

"Why? She has her own two feets? But since we're talking about Jessica and I don't like her, I'll imagine her as an alien and give her 4 tentacles that she uses to move." Sunny said in response, earning a laugh from everyone else but Sooyoung.

"Sunny." Sooyoung warned. 

"Sorry. But you know what i mean." Sunny apologized and gave Sooyoung a nervous smile. 

"You did that?" Yuri seemed to asking herself. "Yah!" 

"What?!" Sooyoung yelled back in response. 

"You stole my move! I did the same thing to Tiffany!!" 

Sooyoung stood up in shock. "Hell no! That was always my idea. You heard from me and did it to Tiffany!"

"Both of you are copycats!!" Sooyoung and Yuri turned to look at Taeyeon. 

"That's right. Both of you stole my idea! I saw that idea from a movie and used it. Can't you two be original?" Sunny looked at Taeyeon and Taeyeon winked at her. Sunny understood right away...dorks were about to be released.

"Original? Yuri stole my idea!"

"NO! You stole mine!"

"NO!  Both of you stole mine!!" 

"And you stole it from a movie Taeyeon!!" 

"So?!!" 

Suddenly Yuri, Sooyoung and Taeyeon broke down laughing. 

"This is so funny. We are so childish right now." Sooyoung commented as she held on to her stomach.

"We are all romantics. Deal?" Taeyeon proposed with a dorky smile. 

"Deal." Sooyoung stated and all three broke down laughing again.

Meanwhile...

"So, you met Jessica or something?" Sunny asked Tiffany as their girlfriends were having their own fun.

Tiffany shook her head. "No. I spoke to her before I came here and she told me what happened."

Sunny let out an exasperated sigh and then a small smile. "Don't tell me. I know. She doesn't know why Sooyoung carried her books for her. Right?"

"Right."

"And what else?"

"I told her that Sooyoung does these things for her because Sooyoung is really serious about Jessica."

Sunny nodded her head in agreemeent. "But-"

Tiffany sighed and let out a weak smile. "But she doesn't believe it. She thinks its pity."

Sunny gasped. "Pity?! Pity will be what she's asking for when I beat her up tomorrow!"

Sooyoung looked at Sunny intently when she heard Sunny's outcry. "Just kidding. Geesh. Go back and play with the other two stooges."

Sunny then talked again when Sooyoung went back to talking with Yuri and Taeyeon. "Sooyoung has been pursuing her for 2 years...i repeat 2 years! And she thinks its pity?! That woman is unbelievable."

"Yeah. Well that's my cousin for you." Tiffany said with a small smile. 

"But Sooyoung liked her way before that jerk!" Sunny hissed in anger. "Why won't she just give Sooyoung a chance?"

Tiffany shrugged. "I don't know."

Sunny looked at Sooyoung talking happily with Yuri and Taeyeon. "Well she better figure it out soon. So that's all you two talked about?"

"Yep. That's all. Now let's go join those dorks. Shall we?" 

"We shall." Sunny answered with a smile.

Jessica turned off her light and looked at the ceiling. It was a quiet and cold night. But for some reason, even under her warm blanket and heat-filled home, she couldn't stop thinking about her conversation with Tiffany earlier. 

*Flashback*

"So what do you think? Sweet huh?" Tiffany asked Jessica over the phone. Jessica threw her backpack on the floor and laid on the her bed. 

"Sweet? It's pathetic. As if I can't carry my books and walk to the bus-stop myself." Jessica answered in annoyance. "She's not all that."

Jessica heard Tiffany giggling. "What's so funny?"

"You."

"Me?"

"Yep. You say one thing but you feel the opposite."

Jessica froze. 

"I'm right huh?" Tiffany's voice echoed. 

"No." Jessica said strongly. "Let's talk tomorrow. I have to shower."

"Okay. But let me ask you one last question." Tiffany asked, a little more seriouness in her voice. 

"Go for it." 

"Is the infamous ice princess melting yet?"

Jessica thought about it...and kept thinking...

"Yah! Don't sleep on me!!!!!" Tiffany yelled over the phone.

Jessica held the phone away from her ear and rubbed her ear. "I didn't!"

"Oh." Tiffany laughed. "Then speak!"

Jessica held her breath before answering Tiffany. "A little."

"..."

"I'm starting to melt."

*end*

Jessica rolled around in her bed. It was the truth. She is starting to melt and started to enjoy these little acts of kindness and sincerity Sooyoung was doing. But one question lingered in her the back of her mind and in the deepest end of her heart:

Can Choi Sooyoung be entrusted with Jessica Jung's love?
