First Entry:

I never really liked the rain. Ever since I was little I had grown a great dissatisfaction of the rain. Rain makes everything

bitter. The smell of grass after the rain, the slippery floor, I hate rainy days.

My name’s Lee Han Eul. I’m a sophomore year in college and I’m currently studying at Seoul National University majoring in

Science and Medicine. I guess you can say I’m a pretty smart and dedicated student considering I am attending this prestigious

university. But, I am also a bit of an antisocial as well, therefore I have lots of time to study for tests and have little time to go out.

I guess if you’re reading this you’ve found my notebook, and you’re probably wondering by reading the first page….”Why is 

this girl so deep with words?” “Why is this girl so emotional?” I won’t judge you if you start looking through my notebook,

but please contact me at the number on the back of the notebook to return this. Thank you.

It was a cold January morning as Joonmyun read the first page of the notebook he had found on the ground. Truthfully, he

didn’t even know how he had come across such a girly notebook in the middle of the street in Seoul. But, as he read the first

page he became engrossed in knowing who this Lee Han Eul was.

“Hello?” Joonmyun spoke after he dialed the number on the back of the notebook. “Is this Lee Han Eul?” He questioned

checking to see if he got the name and number correctly. 

“Yes? Who is this?” The girl on the other line spoke with a sketchy tone of voice. “I have your notebook, I think you dropped

it while you were near the bus stop in Seoul?” Joonmyun yet again spoke to the other girl.

“Oh…well if you don’t mind, are you busy today? Perhaps we can meet up so I can get it back?” The girl asked Joonmyun a favor.

“Ah, yes today sounds fine. Maybe we can meet up by the coffee shop infront of…” Joonmyun spoke as he gave the girl directions to

their meeting place.

“Oh yes, thank you, thank you. I’ll see you in a bit.” Han Eul spoke.

And this is where everything started….
