Description
Coming to terms with the fact that he's been in love with Lee Ji Eun for about three years, was trying for Kim Jonghyun (SHINee). But there are even tougher times ahead. Jonghyun decides (against a friend's judgement), to test to see if Ji Eun likes him back, and ends up with the heartbreaking answer. He is a friend. Only a friend. He'll stay 'just a friend'. Each time he tries to grin at the girl he loves, his smile falters, and breaks into half. He smirks.
Accepting that she loves her best friend is tough. But not the toughest thing Lee Ji Eun's (IU) done in the course of her life. Coming to terms with the fact that Kim Jonghyun isn't hers to love is by far the more difficult task at hand. She is a friend. Only a friend. She'll stay 'just a friend'. Hey guys!! This fic is basically the same as my other Myungyeol threeshot, So He Smiled (availabled here: http://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view/278234/so-he-smiled-infinite-myungyeol-oneshot-myungjong), and I recommend that you either read this one, or 'So He Smiled', because they are basically so similar. How I ended up with this fic, was to just change some minor details for the The Biased Writing Contest on AFF(the Myungyeol one does come with a fluffy, happy ending though...><). I felt rather pleased with the way the Myungyeol threeshot turned out, so I decided to turn it into my contest entry, that's all... Anywayssss...
