Ok! So, yeah... I wasn't supposed to update... But I got really bored during my spare and I know I should've been probably working on one of the many assignments I have due... But... This came out instead Dx/xD

It's sad but awesome at the same time ^^;

Chapter 3: Old Friends & Confusion

Jonghyun's P.O.V:

"So what are you doing here?" Onew Hyung asked confused.

I rolled my eyes as I thanked the lady for the tray of food and walked towards a table with Hyung. "I told you already, I needed to change schools."

"Yeah but you won't say why," he sighed dramatically making me smile. 

As we got closer to the packed tables he began looking around for someone.

"Aishh he hasn't showed up yet," he mumbled but I could still somehow hear him over the loud chattering of the students around us. "You don't mind if we sit with some of my friends, do you?" I shook my head smiling while reminding myself I would have to find the others and just let them know I'd have to catch up with them later. 

"Onew!" I heard someone call. 

"Hey!" Hyung called back and ran over to the table. I smiled forgetting about my reminder.

"So you all know Onew Hyung?" I said sitting in my spot beside Hyun Seung Hyung.

Doo Joon Hyung nodded. "Yeah, but how do you know him?"

"Oh," I looked to my left at Onew Hyung who was smiling brightly. "We're old friends." I said smiling as well.

"Ah~ really? Then we just need the juniors and we'll all have met!" Yo Seob said jumping up and down in his seat. 

"You didn't see Dong Woon on your way down?" Jun Hyung asked magically pulling out a can of coke from his bag.

"Hyung..." Ki Kwang mumbled pouting towards him.

Jun Hyung simply turned and flashed him a smile before opening his can.

"No, you guys know today was chicken day. I ran down the second class was over." Hyung looked down and began eating while everyone else continued talking.

A few minutes later I noticed as 2 tall guys came walking towards our table followed by 2 slightly shorter ones. I stared for a second before turning away to continue eating.

"Hyung, you ditched us today." The guy I remembered Yo Seob called Dong Woon said while sitting beside Ki Kwang. 
"It was chicken day today, he couldn't help it." The shorter one who wasn't on the phone said smiling innocently.

"Hya Key, get off the phone already!" Doo Joon Hyung said glaring at the one on the phone. Now that I looked at him I realized he was really good looking.

"Not now Hyung," he said covering the mouthpiece. "Sorry about that, what were you saying Sun Hee?" He walked away with a wave still on the phone.

"Ah, mianhae he can have no manners towards us when girls are involved." Ki Kwang was smiling sheepishly apologizing on 'Key's' behalf.

I waved it off, "don't worry." But I couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed at 'Key.'

"So!" Onew suddenly chirped up after finishing his food. "I'll introduce you to the new people. The tall one in front of me is Dong Woon; he is your junior, despite his looks. The other tall one beside me is Minho; he's the same age as Dong Woon. And beside him is Taemin who is everyone's dongsaeng; he's a first year here." 

They all waved at me and I waved back smiling. It actually felt refreshing to be in a boys’ school without being attacked by girls.

We all easily fell into a big conversation that was interrupted with the new arrival who sat himself down in the seat that Hyun Seung had left while he was in the washroom.
"Sorry guys. It was Sun Hee; she kept talking about a group date thing."

"Don't bother, we know how you are when it comes to girls." Jun Hyung said leaning over on Ki Kwang's shoulder lazily.

"Hyaa, I said sorry; don't be like that~" I glanced over and saw the angry pout he was giving Jun Hyung.

"Relax, he didn't mean it like that," Yo Seob said still his giant lollipop from earlier.

"Ok ok, whatever then." He already pulled out his phone and was texting someone. I looked down at my empty plate and rolled my eyes.

"Oh," I heard him say making me look up. "Hi." He smiled at me and I was surprised by the sudden change in attitude.

"Hey," I answered still a bit bothered by him.

"You're new, right? I'm Kim Kibum but everyone calls me Key." 

"I'm Kim Jonghyun," I smiled knowing I was already softening up. 

"Ah, you're Onew Hyung's old friend right?" He said surprising me.

I turned to Onew Hyung who was leaning on his arm watching us with a smile.

"How did?..." I trailed off looking at him.

"What? You didn't think I would talk about you?" He asked smiling.
"He talks about you a lot; Taemin, Minho and I know a lot about you truthfully." Kibum said turning my attention back to him.

I nodded slowly, "How come you didn't mention anything?" I directed my question towards the two who were watching curiously.

"Ahh... We didn't know if we should. But since Hyung brought it up, yeah we know all about you~" Taemin said with a bright smile.

"Oh," I said taken aback. "I didn't know you cared so much Hyung." I nudged him making him tip back before catching himself.

"Hyaa!" He said playfully. "Of course I do! I love Jonghyun-ah!" He said hugging me.

"Noo!" We heard a scream coming from behind me.

We all turned back, except for those already facing that direction with a smirk or smile on their face.

"You can't take my partner away!" Hyun Seung Hyung said coming towards me and Onew Hyung who was still hugging me.

"Partner?" Ki Kwang asked confused. 

"Yeah~ I'll be a fifth wheel again if he's taken." He said pouting.

"What? He was mine first," Onew Hyung stuck his tongue out at Hyun Seung Hyung.
"But... Dammit. And Key, you took my seat." Hyun Seung Hyung said kicking the leg of said chair gently.

"Mm?" Kibum asked without looking up from his phone as he wrote out a message. "But I'm comfortable here, sit next to me." He said patting the chair beside him.

"Aishh, fine. Now I can't sit beside Jonghyun either." 

"Wow, you're attached to him already?" Yo Seob said with an 'O' face. " for you since I'm the second closest friend he has here!"

"What?? No no no..." Hyun Seung Hyung started at they began to jokingly argue.

I turned my attention away from them and turned it back to Onew Hyung who was happily talking to Jun Hyung while leaning on my shoulder, his arms still wrapped around my waist.

"Hyaa, Hyung you can let go now," I said smiling gently at the one who was supposed to be my Hyung.

"Don't want to." he said holding onto me, still listening as Jun Hyung spoke about something.

I sighed as turned my attention to Ki Kwang who was tracing designs on the table, unable to move with Jun Hyung leaning on him.

I looked around at everyone who was in their own conversations except Ki Kwang.

I gently kicked his leg under the table catching his attention.

"Bored?" I asked with a smile.

"Nooo~ what gave you that idea?" He said smirking. I could imagine who he got that from.

We started talking amongst ourselves for the rest of lunch until the bell rang.

"Let's go!" Yo Seob said getting up from his spot.

I nodded prying myself away from Onew Hyung to get up. "I'll see you later?" I asked looking down as he lied down across our seats.

"Not today, I have to go to work. I'm done school as of third period." He smiled brightly. "Have fun learning~"

I scoffed and laughed at the same time, "Doubt it. See you tomorrow then." I waved goodbye and turned in the direction of Kibum who was slowly standing as he continued texting.

"See you later Jjong." He mumbled as I walked past him.

I looked back surprised by the nickname. "Bye," I said as Yo Seob came and pulled me along.

I looked back a final time to see him sit down, not texting anyone for once, and talking to Onew Hyung. I couldn't help but wonder for a split second what kind of relationship they had, but it disappeared before I registered the thought.

Biology class was just me and Yo Seob. Ki Kwang had history on the other side of the second floor in the classroom beside our literature class now.

Biology didn't go as smoothly as I wished. This teacher wasn't as nice as my first two and promptly lectured both me and Yo Seob for being a minute late to class. He also proceeded to give me 3 assignments due on his desk by this Friday. The only good thing about class was Seung Hyun who sat beside me. He helped me out without hesitation and even gave me tips about what the teacher liked in assignments. Yo Seob was thankfully just behind me, talking to me whenever I could manage to turn around without being caught.

The rest of class went on like this, and it didn't take me long to accept that this would definitely be the worst class of the year.

Once the bell rang signaling the end of class, everyone immediately got up and ran out. Seung Hyun waved goodbye before leaving me and Yo Seob. I waited as he got his things together, teasing him for taking longer than me for once.

His locker was right by our biology class so I waved goodbye and walked towards the direction of my locker. 

I looked around hoping to catch Ki Kwang before he left and thankfully he was there, talking with Jun Hyung who was surprisingly drinking water for the first time since I met him.

"Hey," I greeted them and fortunately managed to open my locker on only the fourth try.

"Hey, what are your plans for after school?" Jun Hyung asked looking at me.

"Uhh... Going home? Why?" I asked as I packed my bag.

"Do you want to come with us?" Ki Kwang asked looking at me with bright eyes.

"Where?" I asked putting on my bag and shutting my locker door behind me after making sure I had everything.

"The gym./!" Both of them answered at the same time; Jun Hyung with a bored tone and Ki Kwang with an excited one.

"Don't make me stay there alone bored..." Jun Hyung said with pleading eyes that showed the innocent side I didn't know he had.

"You wouldn't be bored if you worked out too..." Ki Kwang said with a cute pout. It made me smile; I really liked them together despite their opposite personalities.

"I will work out when they stop making coke, how about that?" Jun Hyung said with a smirk.

"Ugh, you're impossible." Ki Kwang tried to look mad but the hint of a smile gave him away.

Jun Hyung gave him a quick peck on the lips and looked back at me with the gentle smile I already knew only appeared when it came to Ki Kwang. 

"So do you want to?" he asked again.

I thought for a moment and shook my head. "Nah I'll pass, I wanted to go do some food shopping before I started on those three assignments for biology.

"Ah, that's right you got Shin for bio. Ok then, well good luck! Let's go Junnie Hyung."

Ki Kwang started pulled on Jun Hyung's sleeve and he gave me a small wave before allowing Ki Kwang to pull him away. "Bye Jonghyun!"
I waved a final time and turned the other way to go towards the front entrance of the school. 

As I was passing the gate I heard someone calling me.

"Jjong!"

I walked slower but didn't stop still hesitating to see the person I knew was calling me.

"Jjong~" 

I kept walking starting to speed up a bit when he came and grabbed my shoulder making me turn.

"Hey." I said coolly hoping he wouldn't realize I had tried to avoid him.

"Didn't you hear me calling? Please don't make me run, I hate running." With that he put both his hands on my shoulders now that I was facing him and put his forehead on my chest trying to catch his breath.

I stood there awkwardly and looked around as the people passing us glanced at us confused. 

We were in the middle of the gate and I was the only thing holding the half-collapsed boy in front of me up. I could understand their confusion; I was too. Why had he even been looking for me? I should ask.

"Hya, why are you looking for me anyways?" I asked voicing my inner thoughts.

He seemed to finally catch his breath and looked up at me with a smile. "Because I wanted you to come somewhere with me."

He let his hands slip from their position on my shoulders and as he spoke they slowly slipped down my arms. I felt an unexplainable shiver and somehow found myself nodding as I looked at his bright eyes.

"Great! Let's go!" he grabbed onto my wrist and we semi-ran past Doo Joon Hyung and Yo Seob. 

"Hey Hyungs!" Kibum called out as we continued on our way.

I looked at them feeling a bit helpless as they shook their heads with a smile.

"You're screwed," Doo Joon Hyung mouthed while Yo Seob began laughing and yelled out 'good luck!'

I continued following Kibum who was still holding onto my wrist and I felt my stomach twist.

'What did I just get myself into?'
