I'm sorry it took me so long to find it. This story was beautifully haunting and emotional.

I interpreted that TaeNy have been disowned and thrown out of their homes because of their relationship. I'm not sure if you meant for it to be vague or open ended, but it seemed obvious to me.
It's a terrible reality that some have to face, and I think your take on it was very good.
