when Jae Mir was young, his brutal father would beat his mother up in private. Mir never knew since his umma always put her best smile on to keep the love of her life happy. He once witnessed the horrific sight when he was 7 and since then he couldn't find the will to speak. His voice wouldn't let him, or to be more precise, he wouldn't let his voice come out. Before his voice coward away, he pestered his umma to tell him why his appa was treating her so horribly. She wouldn't answer him and fled off crying leaving Mir with her phone number and his appa. Mir hated the thought of being with his mean appa so he ran off to, his only close friend, Thunder's house. He didn't say a word to the bewildered Thunder and his tearful umma, he just cried in the embrace of the two until he calmed down slightly and drifted off into an exhausted sleep next to Thunder - the person he loves most in the world.

Mir changed his family name from Jae to Bang. Wae? He wouldn't say, and he couldn't say since his voice box had been unplugged. But it was quite clear that he wanted nothing to do with his appa. Lucky for him, his appa went overseas to get wasted by god knows who. 

Mir lives happily with Cheondung, his little brother G.O ( ) and 'his' umma. He's kind of adopted by Cheondung's umma so they're like a small family. Mir loves G.O very much and he never fails to make Mir laugh. Everyone loves to hear Mir laugh: mainly because it's the only happy sound he makes. Thunder has often heard Mir crying in his room and has burst in to comfort him. [thank god] Mir hasn't ever cut as he sees no benefit in harming himself when he has such loving people around him, granted that bad stuff has happened in the past, but as someone once said: "Pain is inevitable, Suffering is optional." 

Mir, Thunder and G.O each have their own room but Mir often has G.O sleeping next to him. If not, he Mir goes and sleeps next to Thunder. Mir hates sleeping alone since it brings back memories he tries so hard to forget.

Mir and Thunder start a new secondary school tomorrow since Thunder got into a fight and got kicked out, Mir didn't want to go to that school on his own so he dropped out and signed up for the same school as Thunder. Plus, he doesn't have any friends at the old school since he never smiles or talks to anyone other than his new loving family. He trusts no one.. At first.
