Baekhyun and Hyosun, are lounging in baekhyun’s front porch.

“”Baek.” Hyosun whispered. “You’re going to stay in my crib right?”

“Yeah, wae?” “Ani, just wanted to make sure.” She smiles.

“Hey, Baek.” “Hmm?” “How old are we, huh?” “Er... 18?”

“Yeah. School’s about to end. Any plans?” Hyosun asks.

“Not really. I have nothing in mind, I mean, college... everything is blurry to me. How about you?” He asks, brushing past her bangs. “Nado. I mean.. I always want to be a nurse. I don’t know why.” She chuckles. “Nurse? Interesting.” He smiles. “And you, Mr. Baek?” “I guess.. I want to be a businessman. Continuing my father’s company, expanding it, be stinking rich..” He giggles.

“Gah. How about singing? I’m still dreaming of you becoming a hallyu star.” “Nah, I don’t want to. Singing is merely a hobby. If I continue my father’s business I can stay here in Seoul, and be with you.” He flashes a grin.

“Cheesy.”

“But you like it.”

“I’d puke.” She rolls her eyes.

“And whatare we actually?” She suddenly said.

“Friends. The best of it. But I think we’re more.” Baekhyun grins, sending Hyosun blushing madly.

“Cut it.”

“I mean, you’re the first girl I slept with—“

“Yah! We’re doing nothing!!”

“I know. We’re literally sleeping. And you drools.”

“No I’m not.”

“Yeah, i was just kidding.” Baekhyun smiles again, hugging his bestfriend.

“You are unpredictable, Baek.”

“I Love you.” He said.

Baekhyun stares at his homeworks. “Calculus, oh calculus. How i hate you.” He sighs.

“You have to study Baek.” His father said.

“Yes, why?”

“Because I’m sending you to US.”

“What?”

“Harvard.”

“No way.”

“And you’re staying there.”

“Me no speak engrish.”

“Byun Baekhyun.”

“Okay, okay. What’s with the sudden, appa?” He shrugs. “Well, I want you to continue our family business. That’s why. You need a proper study. So, Harvard.”

“Like I could get in there. I mean I haven’t even grad—“

Letter of Acceptance.

Harvard University hereby given a full scholarship to __Byun Baekhyun__  

“Wait. Appa!! You didn’t tell me!”He yelps. “It’s meant to be surprise.” His father shrugs. “But appa! I want to stay in korea! Seouldae is nicetoo! Me need no Habard.” He pouts. “Baekhyun. I know you want to stay here, with Hyosun, Appa, Eomma. But you need this,” His father points the letter, “for your future. I understand you. Really. But after graduation, you’re going straight. To US. For your futere. So you can make everyone happy.. including Hyosun.”

“B-but..”

“No buts. Now, continue your study.”

“Aish. Baekhyun. You just gotten closer to Hyosun now you’re going to leave her? Aaaargh!” He whines.

After Graduation

“Baekhyun, appa is really proud of you.” His father said as the Byun family enjoy a decent dinner in a restaurant to celebrate Bakhyun’s graduation.

“Thanks.” He blushed.

“Remember, tomorrow, you’ll be leaving. You’ve packed right?” His appa said. “Deh, appa. But can I stay over at—“

“Sunnie’s place? Go on. You might want to bid farewell.” His mother cuts in.

“Phew, thank you!” He smiles weakly.

10.14 p.m

“Sssht! Hyosun! YA!” Baekhyun knock Hyosun’s window.

“Hmmmph?” Hyosun wake up, still half-sleeping, opening her window.

“Hey, can I sleep here?”

“Mwo..? Sleep? Fine.” She nods sleepily as he lets baekhyun in.

Baekhyun chuckles.

They snuggle under Hyosun’s warm covers.

“Hmph. Jinjja?” She chuckles lightly. “Sssh. Sleep.”Baekhyun ushered her to sleep.

“Aren’t you sleeping too?”

“Later.” He said.

“Sing me a lullaby then.”

“Okay, but sleep.”

“If you have a minute why don’t we go, talk about it somewhere only we know, this might be the end of everything,so why don’t we go.. somewhere on;y we know..” Baekhyun soft voice tingles in her ears.

“It’s beautiful.” She said.

Baekhyun smiles.

“You won’t sleep if I sing. You will listen.” He pouts. “I promise I’ll sleep this time.” She said. “Hm. ‘Kay then.” Baekhyun smiles, pulling her closer, as she lays her head in baekhyun’s arms.

“I’m eternally lost, I feel that like I lost my mind, without your love, I know that I get left behind, all I do is waste my time, I’m stuck between your world and mine. I’m eternally lost, lost and all alone, and it’s your love that leads me on..”

He kissed her forehead. She fell asleep.

“I’m going to miss this.” He said, hugging her closer.

“Your vanilla scent..” He dived his nose in her hair.

“Your baby-like skin..” The tip of his fingers grazed her cheek.

“Everything..” He said.

“Studying take long... But missing you takes longer time.” He said.

“You’re perfect, beautiful, everything.” He said again, despite the latter doesn’t hear what he said.

The sun shines brightly into the room.

“Umfp. Baek. Hey, lazy. Wake up.” She said, chuckling, throwing him pillows and plushies.

Baekhyun brushed his eyes. “Morning alr—SHOOT! It’s morning?!” He said, looking scared.

“Hey, hey, panic attack. What’s wrong? We’ve graduate. No school.” She chuckled, brushing off his bangs.

Baekhyun pulls her to sit on his lap and hugs her.

“H-hey...”

“I don’t wan’t the night to end.” He said nuzzling her hair.

She stares at him who is now cupping her cheeks with his hands.

“Why? Don’t you love the sun?”

“This time, not.”

“Wae..?”

“Because I don’t want to leave you.”

“Baek. What are you talking about?” She stands up, feeling scared.

“I’m leaving.”
