Kais' pov.----------------------- I took one last hit from my cigarette before tossing it off the airship. I closed my eyes,and pointed my head up towards the night sky. Slowly I let the smoke from the cigarette escape my lips. Once it was all out, I opened my eyes. The night was bright and glittering with the stars above. The moon was full,and had a few clouds gliding over it. I looked down. I could see the city lights from here. Just once I wanted to walk down those city streets,with some decent looking girl. I was beggining to become bore with the wenches i slept with. A good girl. Thats what I wanted. But being a sky pirate,wasnt allowing that. I sighed and turned my back on the view below. Taemin was walking my way. His eyes glowing that unearthly green. He took big steps toward me, his boots echoing on the polished wood of the airship. "Kaaaaiiiiii~" He said my name in a sing-song way. "Taemin." I said back bluntly. He chuckled. " Why the long face brother? Did a wench not satisfy you? I can get you-" He began saying but I cut him off. "Nothing. Nothings wrong. When are we gonna get down to business?" I asked him. He smiled. "If you say so. Well,our next target is right beneath us." I stared at him questioningly." But we're in Spain how-" I stopped myself mid-sentence. I began to smirk. " You dont even know this place but yet,your going to rob it blind. So typical of you." I chuckled. He walk to my side and leaned on the rail of the ship. He took in the surrounding and sighed. " Im doing this for us." He said quietly. I looked at his direction. He continued " One of these days we'll have enough money to not do this and we'll go to wherever our hearts desires. We'll stay there, find ourselves some lovely ladies, start our own families, and live happily ever after." He stayed quiet and just looked below at the view. " One day..." I heard him whisper to himself. Although he was the leader of the ship,he sure was a softie at heart. He found most of the crew on the dirty poor streets of their home towns. He brought them in and sheltered them the best he could. And by the time the majority of us were 16, he stole enough money and other valuables to buy this airship. The smile on his face he had when he came back to the little house the crew lived in was priceless. I smiled at the memory. Taemin was the big brother most of us never had. I've known good-ole Taemin since I was about 7 or so. My parents and sisters passed-away in a brutal car acciedent and after the funeral I was left alone. I refused to go to a family home so I chose to just walk around the city,steal a little here and there and slept in cold alleys. Until one day an older homeless man tried to steal the little bit of things I had. And then Taemin was there. His green eyes glowing with disgust as he and his partner at the time took down the man for me. And since then we've been together. And to just think we were barely 7 and 8 at the time. But the partner he had at the time had a good 8 years on us and did most of the work. I think his name was Hero. I cant really remeber,but at the time it was just the 3 of us. Hero,Taemin,and me. And then Hero had to leave cuz some of the towns biggest gangs wanted his head. But Hero always told us one thing.'Stick together no matter what.' and we did just that. By the time Hero left we were 10 and 9. During the years he was with us, he taught us how to use knifes in a hand to hand combat,how to cover up our tracks when we were doing something we shouldnt be. And most importantly how to survive. And the last thing he said to either os us before he left always stool with me since. 'You know...if it were up to me i'd take you both with me. But the life I live isnt good for little youngins like yourselves. Ive taught you all that I know and I trully do hope it helps you guys in the future. Dont cry.' he told me when he saw tears forming. 'Ill come back for you two if I survive the crisis im in. Just remeber. Stay together no matter what. And remeber that I love you both as brothers. Promise you wont be like me. Promise me you'll be better then me.' he looked at us both with a sence of sadness in his odd grey eyes. We both nodded and he gave us each a hug and a kiss on the forehead. ' Be carefull my little ones.' He said as he began to back away then turned his back to us. That was the last time i've ever seen him. And at the moment I really do miss him. I wonder what he's doing right now. Taemins cough snapped me out of my thoughts. He stood up straight and stretched. " I heard theres this ball going on right about now. Lots of overly rich,people are gonna be there. Not to mention the king of Spain himself." He said with a smile. I looked at him as if he were a mad man. " Taemin are you nuts!" I half asked half yelled. He looked at me confused. " For crying out loud , this is a king we're robbing! Theres gonna be guards and winesses and no. No Taemin we are not gonna do this." I grounded out. He only smiled at me. " This could be the last mission we ever do if we do it right. I dont know bout you Kai but I for one do not wanna keep doing this for years to come. We could either finish off this part in our lifes with a bang or not even finish it all and do this forever. Besides we're taking abit from everyone in there. Im sure their all being down right concieted and flossing of all their jewles. I want those jewles and im gonna get em. One way or another. Stop worrying brother. We'll be in and out and nobody will even notice we were there in the first place." Taemin said. His green eyes were twinkling with anticipation. I sighed in defeat. "Fine."
