He looked so lost. He had fallen from his highest point. He was above all else. But now? Now, he felt so low, he felt like he was standing on the bottom of the dark ocean. He was in pain. And I could see it in his eyes. I wanted to help him. But it was so much I could do. So the only thing, I could do was to hug him. Hold him tightly because I knew he would do the same thing for me. We knew too much about each other to back away now. He meant too much to me.

"Daesung… It's all right… I you want to cry on me. I'll be here with you." I closed my eyes, holding him tightly. "I swear I won't leave your side if you don't want me to."

He wept softly, slowly stopping. "Laila…"

I looked up at him, meeting his gaze. My heart was beating so fast, I didn't know how to react. I just watched him as he held my face in his hands. His eyes were still shimmered from his tears but he looked at me as if he had seen something so beautiful. He made me feel beautiful at that moment. "Thank you, Laila."

"You're--" I began to speak but he had placed his lips on mines, completely freezing me in my state. His lips were so soft and gentle against mines. I couldn't help but to close my eyes. I returned his kiss but my mind was still blank. Why was this beautiful man kissing me?

He pulls away, his eyes already gazing at me before I got a chance to open my eyes again. "You're welcome." I finally said.

He hugs me tightly and I sigh in relief. No, Daesung. I should be thanking you. For stepping into my life. I wouldn't know what I would have been if you weren't here….. I love you…. Daesung…..
