Chanyeol hurriedly picked his coffee up when he saw the thunder in the sky. The weather seemed unexpected these days, it was just like yesterday Chanyeol felt the sun was shining bright and today the sun didn’t showed up at all and kept hiding behind the thick clouds in the sky.

 Chanyeol stood at the bus stop, his car was still in the repairment due to the car crash a week ago. Chanyeol cursed Jongin under his breath remembering how his nice and lovely car ended in the workshop because of his friend drunk-driving  with his boyfriend Kyungsoo. Chanyeol reminded himself mentally to not let Jongin borrow anything from him anymore.

“Ah it’s starting to rain..” Chanyeol raised his face to the sky when a few drops of rain fell on his face. Chanyeol didn’t bring an umbrella, so he rushed to the side streets, about to look for a taxi before the rain started to pour hard when a voice called for him—

“Chanyeol?”

Chanyeol turned around to look for the person who called out his name, but he found nobody.

“Chanyeol, here!” Chanyeol turned to the left and caught a small guy under a blue umbrella, he wore a high collar coat (so it was hard to see his face when standing in the bus stop earlier). Chanyeol couldn’t recognize the face from this far because he didn’t wear his glasses or contact lenses, but overwhelming feelings toward the guy came at the moment when the rain fell hard and made him wet.

“Come here!!!” That person yelled, Chanyeol ran to the blue umbrella’s boy and held his breath when his shoulder brushed against the boy’s.

“Baekhyun—” Chanyeol felt the air leaving his lungs when he said that name. It felt strange on his mouth. Because of those years, he never said that name with his mouth anymore.

Because it hurt just to remember it.

“Hi! Is that Americano?” Baekhyun looked up to Chanyeol who looked zoned out. “Chanyeol?” Baekhyun laughed. Oh my God, that laughter, Chanyeol used to laugh along with it a long time ago. Chanyeol pushed his melancholy feels to the side and nodded to the smaller.

“Since when did you like Americano? You used to like—”

“Snowy Caramel, yeah a long time ago Baek. People change. So do I.” Chanyeol shrugged.

Baekhyun brushed the rain off his shoulder as he asked, “How are you?” He still looked so adorable even after all the years had passed. How old would he be this year again? 25? Oh, he’d turn 26 this May, Chanyeol thought. He still remembered it by heart.

“Chanyeol?” Baekhyun called out to Chanyeol when he looked distracted about something on his mind.

“Yeah?” Chanyeol blinked his eyes, and managed to make a smile on his face.

“I asked you, how are you?” Baekhyun repeated again.

“Fine, thank you. And you?” Chanyeol asked back.

“Life’s good I guess. I’ve got a new job here.  So yeah... How about you? I heard from Zi Tao that you’re handling your dad’s company now.”

Chanyeol was startled, does Baekhyun look after him? Why did Zi Tao tell him anyway? Zi Tao never told Chanyeol anything about Baekhyun after their break up and Baekhyun went to Japan with his family.

“Yeah, boring.” Chanyeol shrugged. “You know that I dream to be a singer right? But yeah, a dream is just a dream haha.” He fake a laugh,  but it's sounds strange even for his own ears.

Baekhyun nodded. “Too bad, you used to rap so well back then. Oh, how’s your boy- uh girlfriend?”

Chanyeol frowned. How much was Zi Tao gossiping about him to Baekhyun?

“Yeah she’s fine I guess... Yours?”

“I’m not really in any relationship right now...” Baekhyun turned to look up to Chanyeol. “It’s better this way though.”

Those eyes. The eyes that used to look lovingly and adorable and would turn into a half moon if Baekhyun cracked a smiled. Chanyeol remembered how Baekhyun learned to wear eyeliner back then so his eyes would look bigger.

“I hate my small eyes! It’s makes my face looks bigger!” He would nag when Chanyeol asked why he used eyeliner. For Chanyeol, Baekhyun was perfect. His small eyes were adorable, and his face still looked small if compared to his, but still Baekhyun thought he looked ugly without eyeliner.

“You don’t wear any eyeliner?” Chanyeol asked, he was too curious to keep his mouth shut.

“Yeah, I stop using it since I stabbed my eyeball with it, haha. Why? Does it make me looks awful?” Baekhyun rubbed his eyes.

Chanyeol laughed. Because, 'is that even a question?'

“No, you look awesome.” And does it sound like he’s flirting? “Ugh, I–I just—” And he saw Baekhyun blushing.

“It’s okay, thanks. You too, you straightened your hair. It looks good for you.” Baekhyun rubbed his palms together.

Chanyeol was relieved he got rid of that perm hair of his a year ago, Chanyeol muttered thanks and handed his hot coffee to Baekhyun.

“What?” Baekhyun looked up.

“Cold? You never change, always getting cold so easily... Drink this up. I still haven’t touched a single drop of it, so don’t worry.” Chanyeol smiled.

Baekhyun smacked his lips together before he sipped the warm coffee, the old behavior, Chanyeol thought and smiled to himself. And how I used to smack those pretty lips with mine back then.

“It’s tastes good, thanks. You want some?” Baekhyun raised the carton cup but Chanyeol shook his head.

“Okay then.” Baekhyun continued to drink the coffee, and Chanyeol turned his eyes to the street where people looked comfy in their car on the rainy days like this.

Chanyeol remembered the old days when he and Baekhyun used to run in the middle of the rain when they walked home together. How Chanyeol wrapped his arms around Baekhyun who hid under his big coat and laughed hysterically everytime raindrops hit them. How beautiful rainy days were back then, when they had each other.
