"Boys! I made supper!"
The boys rushed into the kitchen, pushing each other. They were like hungry monsters who immediately grabbed their plates and chewed up the french toast I made.
Everytime we sat at the dining table for a meal, the first 10 minutes would be so silent with no one talking. I smiled at how they ate up my cooking so appetizingly.
I scanned the seats one by one and then I realized that the one next to me was vacant.
"Boys..."
No answer.
"Stop eating you fools!"
Everyone dropped their forks and spoons on he table. They looked at me, then at the empty seat beside.
"Where. Is. Lauren?!"
