The Interrogation

No One’s POV.

Inspector Lee led Jessica to the interrogation room, her face is really gloomy

Behind the thick glass is a few detectives & police officers watching & listening

Let’s begin, “Miss…”

“I have alibi!” Jessica interrupted before he asked

Then she just kept quiet, blank face, looking down at the table

“Then why didn’t you tell me the other day?”

Jessica kept silence

“Miss Jessica, do you or did not you presence at ___ hotel, on the 25^th of August, 2012?”

“No” Short but firmly Jessica answered.

“You said you have alibi just now, however, me too, have an alibi saying that you were presence at the hotel right on the date!”

“…” Blankly she stares at him

“(sighing) Jessica Jung, listen to me, I know sisters may have complicated relationship, you guys might… probably… have some problem let’s say, or unintentionally fight that might cause to bigger problem?” He asked her in the most comfortable tone

She is now staring straight to his eyes (scarily)… The ‘I want to kill you’ look…

Firmly Inspector Lee straighten his voice,

“Let’s just say, you killed your sister, Jessica Jung” A tone of accusing, playing with her response

*tuuppp!* Jessica abruptly stand & hit her hand hardly on the table responding objection from him

*kreeeek* The door is suddenly open, “Jessica Jung, you have the right to remain silence”

“I do not need a lawyer! I am innocence! Get out!” Jessica yelled in disappointment

“Then why aren’t you talking?” Inspector yelled back

“Ask them to leave!!! Then I talk!!!” She points at the big glass window in the interrogation room

Jessica POV.

The moment I step in the interrogation room I felt a very uncomfortable aura emitting from the other room.

I want to make everything clear as soon as possible, but I just don’t feel good talking now

That aura is… not pleasant. It feels wrong. That’s why, I kept quiet as I entered the room.

I prefer him alone and me & a video camcorder.

No One’s POV.

Inspector Lee dragged the stubborn lawyer outside and went to the next room

“Gentlemen, I guess your presence is inhibiting this interrogation to go any further, please I need all of you to clear up this room” The boss motioned the people to go out of the room

Inspector Lee entered the room, “Boss, .. .(waiting for others to be out first), I too, sense something wrong just now” “Who was it?”

The boss just kept quiet

“Do you know something, boss?”

His boss rolled his eyes, “The CIA was here”

“Damn it, why are they trying to get involved with this case?” Inspector Lee fussed

“I tried my best not to let them in. They still insisted!”

“Now go, please proceed. I’m going to … somewhere”

Inspector Lee gets back into the interrogation room after closing the other room.

“Now, shall we?”

“What were you doing, on the same night at the same time?”

“I was with someone” Jessica replied softly

“May I know who?”

Jessica stares at him & answered painfully, “My ex- boyfriend”

Inspector lee took a long deep breath

“Let’s see, you were with your ex- boyfriend at the same night & time, but there are alibi telling me you were presence at the same night & time, so, I need to know his name, contact number & all information”

Jessica rolled her eyes

“Jay Park, Korean name, Park Jae Bum” Tears slowly appearing at the end of her eyes but she still hold it tight

Then she continued telling his information.

“But I’m not sure whether he will cooperate or not”

“Please don’t mention me & the case in advanced, ask him directly & then you tell him what’s it all about, it’s best to record your small conversation with him because I don’t think he will appear as my alibi anywhere I needed him” Inspector Lee was shocked by the details she gave because it sounded like a pro, a little, he smirked.

“What a full length of explanations”

Then the interrogation continues a little bit more before sending Jessica safely back at home

Jessica POV.

I really truly hope he believes me.

Oh, I miss my bed so much! I run up to my bed and lie down to sleep

I hug my pillow tightly, “but I miss u more, Krystal Jung”

Then tears escape from her eyes flooding the moment

“You don’t know how hard I preserve my emotions just now”

No One’s POV.

Then she just fell asleep & drown into her dreamland...
