The Basics
Naruto: Next Generationthe basics
World Map
After the war with Madara, the 5 major nations became much friendlier towards each other. Although the borders were kept up, relations became much less tense and travel between countries became more common and accepted. The smaller nations rarely become problematic because of the overall prosperity of the world. Konohagakure continues to prosper. Sunagakure becomes more and more open to foreign travel. Kirigakure recovers from years of political and economic disaster. Kumogakure remains one of the most powerful ninja nations. Iwagakure's economy expanded and military prowess diminished slightly with the new found peace.

Bijuu
During the ninja war with Madara, the tailed beasts took a liking to Naruto, finally understanding that there are good people in the world. After Madara was defeated, Naruto appealed to the Biju, asking them to help promote peace. Both the Biju and the Kage agreed to allow the creatures rights: they could roam the world as well as make the great countries their home. They are permitted to come and go as they please. Jinchuriki would no longer be necessary to control the beasts but special jutsu were established in case circumstances arose where the Biju would go out of control. The Biju can take on many forms but are often found in a smaller version of their younger age.
