Expecting the Unexpected (Myungsoo One-Shot)

Expecting the Unexpected (Myungsoo One-Shot)

*Present Day December 2012*

I stared at the text message over and over again. This couldn't be what I was thinking it was.

He really can't be serious.

The text message itself is ridiculously making me think that this world isn't my reality it's my dreams reality.

I tried to get my three close friends on the phone line using the merging phone call system, but I only was able to reach Kina, Yumi, and Eunnie. Eunnie was my best friend who knew everything about me.

"Hello?" I heard Kina spoke.

"Hey! Is everyone here?" I asked through my iPhone, sounding half panicked.

Then Yumi's chipper voice reached out to me, "Hey~~~" She spoke in a really friendly voice. I lightly laughed.

"Wait...is this a three way call?" Eunnie asked, out of confusion. "Yeah, I put you guys in a four way call instead! It's the merger system! Now is Minha here?"

There was no reply. After a few more minutes, I realized she didn't pick up.

"So what's this all about?" Eunnie asked, confused as ever.

I took a deep breath, unsure how to tell my friends. "I think Myungsoo is about to confess..."

"WHAT!?!" They all said in unison. I grinned widely. I couldn't believe this was happening as well! I nearly squealed.

"How do you know?" Yumi asked. She was just as excited as I was.

"I'll send you guys screen shots of my texts messages from him," I said, as I began sending each of them as promised.

"But wait...how are you so sure he likes you?" Eunnie suspiciously asked, unsure how to break the news that there is a possibility that he doesn't like me.

"Girl! We've seen how he acts around her! He LIKES her!" Yumi went almost ghetto on us over the phone. I nervously chuckled, recalling the memories.

"Hey now! I may be Yunhee's best friend, but that doesn't mean she kept tabs on me about this guy! Who knows what has been happening!" Eunnie defended herself.

Kina called out, "That's kinda true...if anything we should have our Yunnie tell you. I don't mind listening all over again, even though I've seen it in person."

"Haha, nado~" Yumi agreed with such cheekiness that made me want to tingle in nervousness.

"Well...it all started when I first met up with him..." I started off.

*Flashback (Mid-October 2012)*

I paced around outside, feeling nervous to see this attractive guy again. He seemed to be interested in hanging out, hence the call I got last week about finally getting his new phone. He said I was the first person he called, making me feel really special.

My ringtone for Myungsoo went off, playing "Way To Go". I quickly answered, my voice shaking.

His smooth, yet playful voice spoke out to me, "Hey, where are you?"

I quickly answered, feeling like a nervous wreck already, "I, I'm waiting for you outside the church like I told you I would..."

"Really? Oh damn! I walked right passed the church too!" he openly admitted, making me laugh nervously. "Are you cold or something?"

My eyes widened. "N---I mean yeah! It's pretty cold out here..." I quickly lied, feeling calmer already. He laughed again. "Hey! I'm heading your way right now. Do you see a guy waving his arms in the air?"

My eyebrows furrowed. Huh? What guy waving his arms? I looked around, confused. I can't really see well at night, my vision is kinda bad. So I squinted instead, hoping to look into the distance well enough.

As I continued to look, I stopped as I grinned widely. There I could see a tall Korean man, arms flailing in the air, as if he was trying to get someone's attention. Via my attention. "Yeah. I see someone flailing their arms," I answered him.

I walked towards the tall person, as I walked past many people. He looked like a stick in the ocean, being very obvious. "I can't believe this," I murmurred to myself. No one has ever waved their arms in the air, like a crazy person. I can't even get some of my craziest friends to do that for me.

I hung up on the phone with him and stood right in front of him, amazed at how tall he was. I was only 150cm tall, but this guy was at least 180cm or more tall. He widely smiled down at me, "Hi!"

"HI!" I smiled, greeting him with happiness. "Myungsoo...right?" I wanted to make sure. He chuckled, nodding like a dork. "Yunhee, right?" he confirmed my name as well as I gave a cute nod, earning a light chuckle from him.

As we walked on down the street, I couldn't help but note how attractive this guy was. I knew when I first met him on the bus, he was attractively dorky, but gah I didn't know he was so tall, this made him more handsome. He noticed me staring at him and only smiled at me, making me blush.

"So where to?" he asked.

Before I could answer, I heard, "Yunnie!" I immediately stopped and turned around to see my three friends, Kina, Minha, and Yumi shooting me glares. "Da hell are you planning on going?" Yumi asked, in a disapproving tone. I gulped. Oh my gah...she can't possibly embarrass me in front of Myungsoo.

"And WHO'S this?" Kina asked, looking at Myungsoo as he cutely waved at the three gals. I mentally cursed to myself and gave myself a mental note to scold them later. I plastered a smile on my face and introduced each of them.

After introductions, somehow Yumi convinces us to head toward the food court where we always hang out. I looked up at Myungsoo, "When does your night shift start?"

"I got 45 minutes to kill. I can chill with you and your friends," he answered. I looked ahead and noticed that my three friends were hundled next to each other and kept turning back at me and Myungsoo then giggling. I rolled my eyes. These girls...

Myungsoo had seen my reaction to my friends and laughed, patting my head a bit. "It's okay," then smiled, making me feel a lot better.

I sighed, as we ventured out to the mall. While we hung out, he did little things like grab my hand or lay his hand over my hand. His hands were huge. He even pulled his cap over my head to "shut me up". But he only earned the endearment of my lovely friends.

We hung out a bit, till it was time for Myungsoo to go to work. I got like the umpteenth text from Minha telling me to leave without them. And thankfully he didn't mind if I pulled him away from the group.

"You know, I like you," Myungsoo had thoughtfully said, making me turn nearly into jello. What did he mean by "I like you"? Did he mean he already had feelings for me? Does he want to go on a date with me? All these questions popped in my head. But like a psychic, he answered my question, "You're pretty cool. You don't have any drama. It was actually fun hanging with you. I don't mind doing this again!"

Oh, so he doesn't see me like that. All he saw me was a friend. But what he did back there made me wonder what's running through his head right now.

After saying my goodbye to him, I had just intended to wave goodbye to him. But instead, as I attempted to walk away, he pulls me into a hug and huged me, making me shocked just a bit. But I didn't mind hugging him back. I kinda liked it too.

"Have a good night, Yunhee. I'll call you tomorrow morning," he whispered in my ear, making me shiver just a bit.

I nodded, as I let go of him. "Be my alarm then?" I asked him. He smiled, nodding. "I'll wake you up!" He waved goodbye and headed into work.

He left me there, feeling my heart wanting to be pulled out of my chest to actually beat properly. I was lost in thought, walking aimlessly when I hear my ringtone, "Doo-Bop". It was Yumi. I hurriedly pulled out my phone and answered, "Yobeosaeyo?"

"Yah, dongsaeng-ah~ Eodiga? (Where are you?)" Yumi asked, in a motherly voice.

"I"m heading down the street to my apartment now. What about you?" I asked, numbly walking down the street.

"We'll meet you half way!"

I nodded as I hung up on them, replaying what had just happened. What can I say? I'm a hopeless romantic.

And the next morning, just as promised, Myungsoo calls me telling me to wake up.

I answered, "Yeobosaeyo?" I hadn't realized I even sounded the slightest bit cute. I looked around, remembering that all my friends had spent the night at my place. So I left the room.

"Good morning, cutie! You up meow?" Myungsoo asked. I yawned a bit, "Well now I am."

"Can I stop by? I wanna hang out," he asked, in the iest yet polite voice I've ever heard. I immediately said, "YEAH! I'll meet you at the mall we hung out in last night."

"Haha, okay. See you soon!" he cheerfully said and hung up.

I yawned as I got ready and went to go meet up with him.

I texted him:

"Hey! Meet me at the food court where we went to last night! ~Uyen"

As I walked down the street towards the mall area, I could feel how cold it was today. It was freezing cold today! I zipped up my thick sweater and pulled over my hoodie and hurried there.

As I approached one of the mall's entrance, I could see a shaking figure sitting on the bench outside. I squinted at the person. It couldn't be Myungsoo...he's not stupid enough to sit outside like that.

But as I got closer and closer, I began to recognize the outfit, making me shocked. I couldn't help but call his name out, "Myungsoo?!"

The person then looked up, seeing that it was me and put away his phone. My jaw dropped a bit, trying to restrain from nagging at him.

"What the heck are you doing? It's cold out!" I tried to make it off to be a joke, but I couldn't help but sound motherly.

Myungsoo stood up, chuckling a bit. "It's not that cold. Plus I thought the mall wouldn't be open at a time like this. It's like 7."

I sighed, letting him slide this time. "What do you wanna do?"

"Well...Can I go to your place? I don't know when my bus will get here, so I thought I could just hang till the next bus," Myungsoo rubbed his large hands together, putting some warm air between his hands. I felt kinda bad for making him wait. It took me 20 minutes to get from my apartment to here. So I can't just say no. "Um, sure, but my friends from last night will be there, so we can't be too loud."

He then grinned showing his pearly whites, so angeletic, which caused me to blush a bit. I quickly said, "Let's hurry before we freeze our butts off!"

*End of Flashback*

"I remember how you guys connected as if you knew him so well," Yumi recalled the memory. I blushed a bit, knowing what they're about to say next.

"Oh yeah! And when they came together to the apartment, they laughed so much. We could hear them getting a lot so well, we would have thought they were a couple or something!" Kina said.

"Yah! Shut it!" I demanded, making them all laugh.

I could hear my best friend laughing. "Haha! So what happened? What does this have to do with anything?"

"Well that's the beginning of how I met him. Next part is a little something that I don't like to recall to often.." my voice got a little too serious.

This alone made both Kina and Yumi recall some terrible memories. "Oh no...not that...WE'RE REALLY SORRY!" I could hear Yumi already breaking down from the memory.

"Yeah! I mean come on! Let's not go there!" Kina begged.

I spoke in a calm voice, trying to retain my anger, or at least keeping myself sane. "I know, and I know you guys will never do that again, RIGHT?" I asked, voice raising a bit at the end. They both agreed to never do it again, for the umpteenth time.

"What? What happened?" Eunnie asked, feeling even more confused. I pointed my voice to her attention. "Sorry about that. It's something I don't like retelling or even recalling. But it's about the night that both Kina and Yumi pulled a terrible joke on me."

*Flashback (End of October 2012)*

"Okay, so Myungsoo will be coming soon! Once he gets here, we are to go straight to Anime Club, araso?" I ordered both Kina and Yumi. They both nodded.

Anime Club was a club where you could watch a variety of anime with other people. It's kinda like going to a cinema, but just with some awesome anime and some okay anime. But you could converse with people and even make some friends while you're at it. This peaked Myungsoo's interest. That's kinda the whole reason why we hang out together, so he could get a chance to see it. But for the past few weeks, he's always gotten to my campus too late to where he misses the really good anime. But this time, he was actually gonna get here early to go there early and finally see the animes that I've been talking about.

As I awaited for Myungsoo to arrive, I heard the door knock, I looked up, "It must be him! Keep cool guys! I SAID KEEP COOL!" I said, my voice raising each time.

"Umm...We're okay. I think you're the only one that needs to calm down..." Yumi calmly said, making me nervously chuckle. You could do this, Yunhee. You really could do this! I took a deep breath and opened the door, revealing an attractive Myungsoo, wearing dark straight jeans, a black loose tee, and his over shoulder backpack. He looked simple, but y at the same time...Keep your mind off his looks, Yunnie! Remember, you're just friends with him!

"Hey! Sorry what took me so long! Ready to head out?" Myungsoo said, pulling me into a hug, earning my friends saying 'awwwww'. I blushed a bit, hugging him back.

"Yeah! Let's head out!" I pulled away, signaling both Kina and Yumi to start heading out.

As we all pulled out into the hallway, so I could lock my door, I notice that both Yumi and Kina rushed down the hall and began heading down the stairs.

I didn't pay close attention, since I had a feeling they just wanted me and Myungsoo to have some alone time. "Huh...why did they run down the stairs so fast?" Myungsoo looked after them, feeling a bit lost. I sighed as I told him, "Sorry, my friends tend to be dumb like that. Let's go follow them." Myungsoo agreed as we tried to catch up with them down the stairs.

But as soon as we got outside the gates of my apartment, we saw neither of them in sight, pulling me into confusion. "Where did Yumi go?"

"And Kina?" Myungsoo looked around.

"Weren't they just coming down the stairs?" I asked, as calm as possible. Myungsoo nodded. "They couldn't have ran down that fast," I smiled, feeling the joke in the air. "Haha, you guys! This is funny! So funny!" I humerously laughed, as I looked behind the bushes nearby then around the closes corner. But I saw no one in sight.

I gulped. I turned back to Myungsoo, feeling panicked already. "Maybe they headed there already," Myungsoo started to reassure me. I shook my head. "I know for a fact that one of them would get lost there, and the other one doesn't know the campus that well to head there!" I pulled out my phone calling Yumi first.

But she didn't pick up. Then I called Kina. No answer. I began to panic. This can't be happening! "Sorry, you're gonna have to hold on for a little bit. I need to know they're okay..." I tried calling Yumi again, then she finally picked up, "Yunnie?"

"Oh my gah! Where are you?" I urgently asked, feeling relief starting. "I'm halfway to Anime Club. But I'm scared!" Yumi said, worriedly.

"What? Tell me!" I demanded.

She gulped, "When I ran down the stairs, Kina followed me, but when we reached outside the gates, I lost her! She went the opposite of me! I don't see her anywhere!" she said this in a hurry.

"WHAT!?" I yelled into the phone.

"Don't worry though! You just get Myungsoo to Anime Club and I'll be on the look out for her," Yumi tried to calm me down. Just before I could say, "NO! I'M LOOKING FOR HER!" She hung up on me.

I looked at my phone again. I looked at Myungsoo, who was looking as bored as ever. I would go straight to Anime Club, but I knew for a fact that Kina did not know her way around campus by herself. She gets lost easily.

"Kitty, I'm sorry, we may get to Anime Club a bit late. I need to find my friends. They're lost," I could feel tears coming in my eyes. Yes, I'm a sensitive person. So what?

"I'm okay with that. They're your friends right? You seem to care about them a lot," Myungsoo said. I nodded, "Yeah I worry about them too much. But I can't seem to help it..." I tried calling Kina again.

Right when I was going to give up on calling her, she finally picked up, "Yunnie-unnie?"

"KINA! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? ARE YOU WITH YUMI RIGHT NOW!?" I asked her without taking a single breath.

"Yeah I'm with Yumi righ---No! I'm not! I lost her on my way down the stairs!" Kina said, making me a bit suspicious at first, but right now, I'm concerned about my friend's safety. "Well, where exactly are you at now?" I calmly asked her.

"I...I don't know. I think I'm on the opposite side of the mall...But it's dark..." she said, sounding confusing as ever.

I grabbed Myungsoo's arm and pulled him in the direction of Anime Club. "Well stay there! I'm coming to look for you!"

"Wait! You go to Anime Club, I'll ask someone for directions," Kina said. That alone didn't come to my liking so easily. "Oh! I see someone walking here! Lemme ask this guy for directions," she said. Does she not know the difference between dangerous strangers and friendly ones? Kina has a habit of talking to an assortment of strangers. She doesn't have the "stranger-danger" alarm in her head.

"Keep me on the phone! I need to make sure he's safe!" I sounded motherly, not wanting my own daughter talking to strangers.

"Unnie, I can't! My phone is about to die! But he seems to know where Anime Club is at. You go ahead! I'll meet you there!" Kina quickly said. And right when I was going to object to the stranger taking my friend, she hung up. "Hello?" I yelled into the phone.

"Are you okay?" Myungsoo asked with concern in his voice. I shook my head. I felt like I was going crazy. I sighed out of annoyance. "My friends are sooooo dumb!"

I began to walk out of anger towards campus. Myungsoo followed beside me.

As we walked Myungsoo could feel the fury bubbling inside of me as well how I cared for my friends. He cleared his throat a bit, making me turned to him, "I'm so sorry...this night is ruined!"

"No it's not," he gently said. "It's actually okay. I could understand your situation."

I shook my head, "The plan was to get you to see some really cool anime, but instead, I lost my friends and *looks at phone* we missed the really good anime!"

"It's not so bad. If anything, it's been a good night. I actually got to be with you. And seeing this side of you, makes it kinda amusing," Myungsoo smiled closing the space between both of us, our arms barely touching each other. I looked up at him, listening to him. My heart slightly jumped a bit.

"How is it amusing?" I slowly grinned. "You look adorable when you worry. I want to see this side of you more often!" he answered, putting an arm around my shoulders and giving it a gentle rub, indicating he wanted me to calm down a bit.

My mind went at ease and I looked up at him, and jokingly said, "Hey! I'm not adorable! I'm vicious! REOW!" making him laugh. "Let's go find my friends."

I called Kina again, hearing an endless number of rings till it reached voicemail. I kept this up three or four more times. That's weird...if her phone was dead, the phone would have went immediately to voicemail. I called Yumi this time. By the time both Myungsoo and I reached the entrance to Anime Club, Yumi picked up the phone, "Hello?"

"YAH! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!?" I screamed into the phone.

"I'm looking for Kina, remember? Aren't you supposed to be in Anime Club already?" Yumi asked.

"I TOLD YOU THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR KINA TOO! I'M NOT LEAVING MY FRIEND OUT LIKE THAT!" I couldn't control my anger. Myungsoo saw how worried I was and went behind me and wrapped his arms around me hugging me from behind, making me calmer. He whispered in my free ear and said, "It's okay. Just calm down. Okay?" I nodded as he laid his head on top of mine as I spoke calmly, "Did you find her?"

"Well she last told me that she was around---I FOUND HER!"

My heart was relieved, "Really? You found her!?" I looked ecstatic, making Myungsoo laugh and pulling me closer to him. "Is she still with that guy who was supposed to take her to Anime Club?"

"OMO! I see the guy! But he's taking her the opposite way! KINA! COME BACK!" she yelled towards to Kina. "I'll call you in a bit, Yunhee! I gotta stop the guy!"

"I knew he was a creeper! GET HER BACK!" I yelled out. "I will! You go ahead and watch the anime! We'll see you later!" then she hung up.

I pulled away from Myungsoo, making him pout. "They found her! But..." I looked at my phone realizing that it's almost time for his night shift.

"It's okay. You said the good anime was only in the beginning..."

"I'm so sorry! I ruined this night! I'm really really sorry! You were supposed to watch anime! And the one time that you actually got here to see it, but didn't get to see any, makes me a bad friend! I'm really really sorry!" I spoke rapidly, already putting the blame on myself and apologizing like there's no tomorrow.

"Calm down," Myungsoo said after my third apology. He pulled me into his large arms, laying his head on top of my own again. "Stop apologizing. It's not your fault at all. You were just worried about your friends. You had to find them, right? Now, why don't you walk me to work? It'll pay back my time being lost from not watching any anime."

I stood there, unsure. "Are you sure? I feel like I wasted all your time for no reason..."

He let go of me, and stood next to me, "Ya know, the point of this night was to be with you. And that what matter most, araso paboya?" he knocked my noggin lightly, making me smile.

"Okay, let's get you to work then," I smiled widely. "Now that's the Yunhee I know. All cute and smiley," Myungsoo tried to whisper, but I heard, making me smile even more.

Once we reached his work place, it was hard for either of us to turn away from each other. "Well...this is where we depart huh?" Myungsoo shyly said, sounding more sad than I had thought he would feel.

I smiled widely, "Yeah, but that's okay! I'm sorry again~"

"Don't be. It was really fun hanging out with you. We should do this again," he pulled me once more into his arms, leaning back and forth together, till I let go of him.

After I walked him to work and headed back to campus, I see that Yumi was calling me. I immediately picked up, "YAH! Where are you!?"

"Turn back around~" Yumi cheesily said, as I turned back around and found Yumi and Kina hiding behind some trees.

I immediately ran up to them and hugged them, "Omigosh! I'm so glad you're safe! That guy was gonna kidnap you?"

Then the next thing I knew, I was chasing both Yumi and Kina around demanding answer. I was furious at them.

"THERE WAS NO GUY!? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS!?" I yelled out at them. I didn't care if we were getting attention from other people or not, I was mad at them.

"It was only a joke! It was meant for both you and Myungsoo to be alone together!" Kina yelled out. "IT WAS YUMI'S IDEA! CHASE HER! SHE'S SLOWER TOO!"

"YAH!" Yumi yelled out.

This lasted up until I managed to sit them down and got my answers. It was true they wanted me to have alone time with Myungsoo, but now he thinks I'm crazy!

"Because of you guys, he has seen a side that wasn't supposed to be shown to guys I like! Now he probably won't hang out with me ever again!" I stomped my foot out of frustration. "Well, that didn't look like it, from what we saw..."

I looked at them, eyes wide. "What did you see?"

"He was all touchy with you. He likes you~" Yumi smirked, teasing me a bit. I blushed, not believing it. No hot guy could like me...

"What ever! Know what? I'll meet you at my apartment! I'm going to go see the rest of the show," I waved at them, clearly still mad at them. "YUNNIE! WE'RE SORRY!" And they followed me all around, till I cooled off.

*End of FLASHBACK*

"Yeah...we're never gonna mention this again...EVER!" Yumi said again.

"Unless, Yunnie mentions it again. She'll never let us off the hook," Kina said, feeling a bit cautious about the whole thing. I agreed, "Damn right, no one has ever played such a horrible trick!"

Before we could start another round of blaming one another about the terrible joke, Eunnie got our attentions, "Okay! Tell me more about Myungsoo! I need more info!"

"Oh yeah! Sorry, gonna have to fast forward a bit to where you, Eunnie, have actually got the chance to meet him!" I said.

Yumi gasped, "What? I don't remember you telling me that Eunnie met him!"

Eunnie laughed through the phone, "Girl, trust me. It's worth hearing."

"Yeah...to me it felt..." I started.

"I saw it!" Kina blurted out.

"TELL ME!!!" Yumi pleaded, ready to go crazy.

I cleared my throat. "Okay so it started about a month ago..." I began.

*Flashback (November 2012)*

"Are you ready to meet him?" I asked Eunnie excitedly. She nodded, kinda weirded out to see me so excited. "Waeyo?"

"I don't know. I hope you say he's as good as it seems..." she suspiciously said.

I sighed dreamingly, "He really is nice! I've only known this guy for a short time, but for some reason...I don't know. He's a really nice guy. He always brings me breakfast when I don't even ask for it. He always calls me in the morning to get me up. He even makes sure I'm doing well in school to the point he cheers me on." I grinned like a goofball.

It was all true. When he finishes up work, he'll wake me up in the morning and asks me if I wanted breakfast. When I don't want it, he'll encourage me to eat. "You have to have breakfast! It gives you brain power!" he said one morning when he came by to drop it off for me.

And whenever I feel down about studying or stressed, he'll text me happy/cutesy messages cheering me up immediately. He'll even cheer me on through texts saying stuff like "FIGHTING!" or "YOU CAN DO IT! MEOW GET TO STUDYING!"

He always says 'meow' so often, he's now known as my kitty! :3

"I'll have to admit, not all guys would bring their friends breakfast. Heck, not even Yoseob would bring me breakfast!" that made me laugh. I shrugged. "But I don't know if he has feelings for me like that...Like I said before, there's no way a hot guy like Myungsoo could like a girl like me..." I thought to myself.

"YUNHEE!" I heard someone yell my name. I turned around to see Myungsoo running up to me. I smiled widely as I automatically opened my arms up for a hug.

Myungsoo automatically scooped me up into his arms and carried me. "YAH! I DON'T LIKE BEING CARRIED!" I complained.

"To damn bad, I like picking you up!" Myungsoo snuggled his head into the nape of my neck, making me burn like crazy.

"Ready to head to Anime Club?" Myungsoo asked, finally putting me down. I cleared my throat of embarrassment to find my small voice saying, "Yeah..."

"Let go!" Eunnie spoke up cutely. I nodded as we walked off to Anime Club. And yes, this was his only chance to see some anime. But sadly he only had time to see the drama, since work was about to start. "Let's head out," I whispered to Myungsoo, as he nodded.

We walked out of the place, and stretched. "Let's get you off to work," I said. Then suddenly, Myungsoo put his arm around my shoulder and nodded, "Let's go!"

"Awwwww~" Eunnie said. Before I could even say anything or smack her, I heard another 'awww' making me turn around. My eyes widened with glee, "KINA!"

I ran out of Myungsoo's arm, making him pout, and went to hug my chingu. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I was here to see if there was gonna be some good animes, but from the looks of it, it doesn't seem to be the case."

"Well, I have to go to work," Myungsoo said, not too happily. "And I have to head home," Eunnie said. I sighed, "Yeah~ So let's get them going!" I cheered. And as soon as I stood next to Myungsoo, he slung his arm around me again, pulling me closer to him.

"Ooooooooh," I heard both Kina and Eunnie whisper as a way to tease me. I blushed. I played this off and playfully putting my arm around Myungsoo, making him pull me so close to him that we could hear our hearts beating. I gulped.

As we made it to the place where we let Myungsoo head to work, I took notice that both Kina and Eunnie were falling behind and purposely walking slower to give us our alone time.

"Well, this is where we part, huh?" Myungsoo stopped in front of his workplace. I nodded. "Neh~"

"Well, I'm going to miss your cute little self!" he cupped my face in his large hands. I tried to fight him by looking away, but he kept my eyes on his. "Don't look away, kitty. Always look at me, okay? Never stop looking at me, for I'll always look at you," he whispered, nearing closer to my lips.

Instead of waiting there and letting anything happen, I pulled away and played it cooly saying, "Yah! I don't like that at all! That's mean!" I pouted, making him a bit shocked and he then chuckled. "You're hard to get, huh?"

"Huh?"

"I'll call you tomorrow!" Myungsoo quickly turned away and walked off, waving back to us. I smiled, "Bye kitty!"

"Bye~" both Kina and Eunnie smiled, waving happily at him.

I turned to them, "Awwwww you guys are too cute!"

I shushed them. "Yah! No we're not!"

"He likes you girl! Like REALLY LIKES YOU!" Eunnie said, smiling. "I approve him!"

"Shut it! Let's go already," I blushed walking ahead of them. "YAH!" They called out to me, but I ignored their teases as we headed to my place.

*End of FlashBack*

"And so that's what happened," I recalled the most recent memory of me and him together.

"I'm mad at you guys for not inviting me!" Yumi complained through the phone. I laid back in my large bed, sighing.

"That's what you get for chasing a y man that day!" Kina complained.

"YAH!" Yumi was about to start something, but Eunnie butted in.

"Now get to the point about Myungsoo confessing?"

I sighed, "I got these text messages saying that he 'wanted to show me the ultimate form of affection'. What do you guys think?"

"OH MY GAH! NO WAY!" They all screamed out. I laughed. "Did you guys even see the screen shots of the messages I got from him?"

They paused as they went to go check, I laughed once again. "OH DEAR LORD! HE REALLY IS ISN'T HE!?"

"I knew it! He likes you girl!" Yumi rubbed it in my face. I blushed, "But how could he like a nerd like me?"

"I've even seen him nearly kiss you! Yeah he likes you!" Eunnie agreed with Yumi.

"I'm with the girls on this one! There's too much proof of him liking you girl!" Kina agreed as well. I sighed. "But I'm not good at confessions..."

"Well, do you like him?" Kina asked me, making the other girls 'ooh' at the question. I thought about it. My heart began to flutter.

"I...I do like him..."

"Well, just in case, you're gonna have to prepare for rejection. Because we're not too certain, since in the text, he doesn't seem to give you a straight forward answer." Kina bluntly said. But I could see what she means. I'm not too sure if this is for real or not.

"Well, when he says, 'You're going to see me differently though...'. That has to be a sign that he likes our Yunnie!" Yumi teasingly said. "YAH!" was all I could say, making them all laugh.

"What are you going to do then?" Eunnie asked.

I thought about it, "Well...we agreed to see each other tomorrow. I'm going to ask him myself. We're going to have to talk this out..."

"Well, let us know what happens! We're here for you!" Eunnie said, making me smile. "Thanks, girl! I'll update you!" I smiled as I hung up the call.

I lie there, unsure what to think about. I just thought about how happy I'll finally be!

*The Next Day*

I straightened my outfit as I cleared my throat. Here goes nothing...

As I waited at the coffee shop, I practiced saying "I like you" over and over again.

And just as I was about to say it a bit more confidently, I heard the coffee shop's door open and I looked up to see Myungsoo, wearing a hoodie under a blazer. I gulped, He couldn't be asking me out. I thought to myself.

"Yunhee!" He smiled as he sat in the seat in front of me. I smiled happily, "Hey kitty~"

"One iced coffee please!" he called out his order and looked at me. "You're looking cute today!"

I smiled, bashfully. "Thank you..."

Myungsoo smiled as he looked at his phone. "Hey..." I spoke up, stopping him a bit. "What did you mean by...'wanting to show me the ultimate form of affection'?"

He looked up a bit shocked, then suddenly nervous and flustered. My heart began to beat fast, unsure how to control it.

"I...I'm not sure if you feel the same way but..." Myungsoo paused. I sat up straight, ready to hear anything. I just need answers.

Then the next thing that came out of his mouth, threw my head into a motion. My heart...it feels...

Unsure.
