Kris stopped his car and walks towards the blue and pink coloured building. You smile at the sight and followed him inside.

“Cone or sundae?” he turns to you

“Definitely cone!” you smile proudly

“Okay then, how many scoops?”

“Two would do.”

“Okay, so one regular cone with two scoops and one sundae with two scoops.” Kris turns to the girl at the counter

“What would you like?” she batted her eyelashes at Kris and you just rolled your eyes with a chuckle

“Baseball nut and fudge brownie with strawberry sauce on top.” He said without a single smile

“Cheer up big guy, we’re getting ice cream.” you nudge his arm

“And for you?” the worker looked as bored as ever

You were kinda disappointed to see her like that; far different from how she treated Kris

“Cheer up small fry, we’re getting ice cream.” Kris whispers in your ear which made you grit your teeth

“Uhh, I’ll have cookies and cream and winter white chocolate.” You forced a smile

“That’ll be 8000 won.”

“I’ll pay for mine.” You took out your wallet

“No, I asked you to come along, I’ll pay.” Kris looks at you and you look back at him

The worker seems to be unsatisfied with Kris’ words though but she took the money he hands her anyway “Thank you.” She flashes him the brightest smile but he didn’t answer and instead just took the ice cream and hands the cone to you

“You’re welcome.” You smile at her and chuckle as you and Kris walks out of the place “You know, you could’ve been nicer.” You smile and the ice cream

“Well she was trying to hit on me; it’s something I dislike to the pits of my stomach.” He scoops the ice cream with the spoon and eats it

“Why wanting to eat ice cream all of the sudden?” you ask him

“Can’t you see how hot the weather is?” he raises a brow

“I don’t see it but I can feel it.” You smirk

He gave a look and shakes his head “Did you do well for the exam?”

“Yep! At least I think I did, but what if I didn’t?” you pout

“You’ll be fine, trust me.”

“Since when do I trust you?” you raise a brow

“Then don’t trust me, I’m not forcing you to.”

It was quiet and to you it was awkward because none of you were talking to each other; Kris is too busy with finishing his ice cream while you had to eat fast because of the dripping ice cream. You guys were just sitting on the grass while eating ice cream.

“Aish, I should’ve asked for sundae instead.” You grunt and kept and wiping the drips off the cone

“I told you.” He mumbles

“No you didn’t.” you spat
