My name is Lee Chaerin, 20 year old and is living a happiest life with my 21 year old fiancée, Dong Taeyang. We’ve been together for 7 years now. We’ve met during high school and back then, he was a player.

My friend introduced him to me and we’ve become pretty close cause we got along very well. I didn’t know that he liked me until one day he confessed to me.

Sadly, I rejected him cause one, he’s a player and two, he had like two girlfriends. I thought he would give up but he didn’t. We still hangout as usual and do stuff together.

My friend told me that he’s single now and told me to be with him. A girl like me doesn’t fall in love so easily. I still can’t trust him so I just let him be.

Weeks passed by and his feelings for me grew stronger and stronger. How do I know? Well, there was this boy who liked me as well. He confessed but I haven’t answered him. He’s a good guy and he’s never been in love before so I’m the first girl to make him fall in love. I’m kinda flattered though but I don’t know why I couldn’t accept him.

So anyway, Taeyang saw us chatting together one day and he suddenly chimed in, calling me his lover and such. The poor guy only smiled and asked permission from me to leave. Funny don’t you think?

Not only him though, Taeyang would get jealous if he saw me hanging out with unknown boys. He would tell me about it but I just ignored him.

He confessed for the second time during a party at my friend’s house and again, I rejected him. But after the third confession, I’ve decided to give him a chance and here we are. I can’t believe that my life would be so wonderful with him.

“Love…”

I slowly turned my head around as Taeyang wrapped his arms around my waist. We’re currently at my apartment, having lunches together. I smiled while watching the nice, sunny weather by the window. I leaned my head against his firm body, closing my eyes as I felt the warm of his embrace.

“I love you,” He whispered, “Don’t leave me okay?”

I held his hands, “I won’t.”

He gave my cheek a soft kiss and kissed my lips after that. I wished we could stay like this forever but sadly, I have to go to Taiwan to continue my study. Taeyang already know about this and he has nothing against it. It’s just that he kept saying that he’ll be lonely without me by his side.

We pulled away when Taeyang’s phone rang. He answered it but quickly hung up.

“I gotta go, Seungri’s stuck at the highway.” He chuckled.

He kissed my hand and forehead before he left.

I went into my room and suddenly got a text. I read it and it was from the guy who likes me. Yeah, he still likes me even though he already knows that I’m with Tae.

We still hang out together since I treated him as a good friend.

He texted me that he wanted to have tea with me so I gladly accept his offer and went to Tea House which is not from my apartment.

From afar, I could see him waiting for me outside the shop, playing with his hair. His name is Seunghyun, Choi Seunghyun, 20 year old. He also knew about the Taiwan thingy and he’s kinda upset too.

I don’t understand him. Why me? Why not someone else? I mean, I’m already engaged so why can’t he find another girl?

Slowly, I walked up to him, patting his shoulder. He looked at me and smiled. He opened the door for me and walked beside me. We settled at a small table by the window while waiting for the waiter to take our orders.

“So…”He spoke,” You’ll be leaving tomorrow?”

“Yup, early morning.”

“I can’t see you at the airport then.” He pouted.

“It’s okay,” I smiled, “Your class is more important besides, it’s just for a year.”

He nodded slowly.

“If you find someone special, introduce her to me okay?”

“I already found one.”

“Really?” I chirped, “Who?”

He smiled shyly as he leaned forward, “You.”

Uh  huh… never expect that he’s gonna say that. I hit his arm playfully and chuckled, taking his answer as a joke. He chuckled as well and ordered teas for us as soon as the waiter approached us.

15 minutes after that, Seunghyun left cause he needs to accompany his friend to a job interview while I just stayed here, enjoying my warm green tea but not long after that, Taeyang called, asking me where am I. I told him that I was gonna go home in a minute cause he was waiting outside of my apartment.

That’s quick.

When I get there, he was nowhere in sight. Hmm, maybe he already went inside since I gave him a spare key. I the knob and yup, he’s already inside.

As soon as I closed the door, he tackled me from behind, startling me a little.

“You scared me.” I said.

“Sorry.” He chuckled softly.

We talked and spent our time together till night. Taeyang doesn’t wanna leave but I insisted him to. He’s such a baby.

“I’ll pick you up tomorrow okay?”

I nodded with a smile.

“Goodnight.” He pecked my lips and walked away.

I stared at him till he went inside the elevator. I sighed and closed the door. It’s already late so I better go to bed now.

I washed myself, changed into my pj and get into bed. I can’t seem to sleep though. I kept thinking about Taeyang and our memory together. I can’t help but smiled and chuckled to myself.
