What kinds of people get scouted?

Okay let's get started. First of all, there are a handful of trainees from many companies that were scouted. Scouting is an easy way to find pretty people to join your company. Scouting is also a way for companies to find talents and recruit them. Not all companies scout people just because of their looks.

Is it possible to be scouted in a country other than Korea?

Yes it is. There was a girl that was scouted in America, and it wasn't California (was it Texas or ia?). Tiffany was scouted in America and I think it was California. Later she was invited to an audition.

After you've been scouted, what's next?

Usually when you're scouted they will ask you to come to some sort of audition. They just want to know if you have potential and if they should accept you.

So what's it like to be scouted?

Well basically someone told me that a representative can come out of nowhere and so someone came up to her randomly and asked her if she wanted to join SM. Most of the time a representative will give you their company card. Now if they ask for money, then they are frauds. Even if they don't ask for money right away and give you a card, you never know if they are frauds. 

How do I know if someone is a real representative or not?

I really don't know.

Well you want to ask that person what company they are from if they don't tell you.

Sehun from EXO was scouted but he was scared of the representative so he ran away, and she ended up chasing Sehun. Victoria was scouted but she thought the representative was a fraud but he ended up being real. 

I just want to say that most of the real representatives will be slightly or really persistent. Some may not be that persistent but I can't guarantee if you will come a across a fraud or real representative. 

You never know what life brings you.

In the future I MIGHT post some trainee pictures if you want to know what they usually look like.

So I have auditioned online for the JYP auditions and I wanted to know if we pass this round we have to go to Korea for the 2nd round so will they pay for our flight ticket ? Thanks

Chapter 2: If you get kicked out of the company, do you have to pay back all the money they have used on you?
(I think that is right but i don't know. Maybe you know?)

Chapter 3: I went to Korea to audition for sm around the last week of October,and I'm not too sure how long they take they actually take in order to contact me cause the two judges looked up when I started singing,I almost couldn't get in because it was kinda full but when the lady heard that I wouldn't be in Korea the following week she looked at my face and clothes before allowing me to audition,handing me the audition paper(?).If you are able to answer this then I'll be very thankful!(sorry for my poor English)

Chapter 5: I saw posts that they said SM said that Filipinos are not compatible with them. So is there still a chance for me to continue my dreams? Because honestly I only want to be in SM Entertainment. It's kinda sad to know about that. So is there still a chance for me?

Chapter 10: Hii i just want to ask are there any chances of getting accepted through online audition if im a rapper?? im very good from what I've been told and also im 11 does that increase my chances?tnx alot

Chapter 5: Hello You mentioned about SM going to pay for your school dorm etc. But can I ask are all other companies like that? I mean I want to audition for Big hit entertainment and I don't know if they pay their trainee's schooling do you have any chance have any ideas?

Anyone interested to do some email auditiom on YG? I mean.. I need some accompany.. or vice versa..
And AU, thank you a lot for sharing this. Cheer up! I ever felt that way too. And i gained so much weight since I eat a lot. I don't have any appetite but I am feeling to chew something. And since basically we , human, couldn't chew rock or wood, I chew food instead kekekeke.

Chapter 6: Hi! I'm planning on auditioning for Big Hit Entertainment. Any tips for that company? Also, on their audition application sheet it says things like Contact, Career, and Blog &Homepage, what do they mean? Like what tdo you put there?
