"What are you doing here Luke!?" he smirked.

"Ah, look at your hair, I remember when I used to run my fingers

through it when it was long" placing his bony hand in my hair,

I could feel him run his fingers through my hair.

"Don't touch me you sick bastard!" slapping his hand

away, I glared at him.

Why is he back!? He can't be back, not

after what he did to me.

"Tsk. And here I thought you would be

thrilled to see me again" he looked at me disappointed.

"Yeah well you thought wrong" glaring at me

he leaned forward.

"You can't get rid of me that easily

this time Amber. I'm here to stay this time." I was

frozen by what he said.

No! He can't..why?

"Why did you come back? Haven't you hurt me enough

already!?" I could feel tears build up in my eyes.

"Because my dear Amber, I'm not done with

you yet" with that he left.

My knees became shaky, my breathing stop, my

heart was beating a mile a minute.

Before I could shed a tear Kris returned from taking care of our

trays.

"Who was he?" Kris looked at me and raised an eyebrow.

Oh god. Did he hear anything?

I shook my head. "He is nobody" shrugging his shoulders, Kris

walked over to me.

"Come on we have to go to class" he was about to help me

when I stopped him.

"Actually could you take me to the office

instead? I don't feel like staying at school with my ankle and all" nodding

his head, Kris helped me to the office.

The walk was quiet, until Kris had to say the one thing I dreaded.

"I heard your whole conversation

in the cafeteria earlier. What did he do to you?" I froze.

He heard all of it. He shouldn't have.

"Please not right now Kris. I'll answer your questions later" bringing

a hand up to my forehead, I started rubbing my temples.

He was about to ask something else but stopped when

he saw the office up in front of us.

"Hello Amber, what do you need" Mrs. Park looked

up and smiled at us.

Kris and I bowed."May I use the

school phone again?".

"Sure, but, Amber wheres your bag?" she smirked at me.

Not again!!

Turning around I looked at Kris, "could you please

go to my locker and get my bag??".

"Fine" Kris sighed while leaving.

Smiling at my victory, I turned back to Mrs. Park,

She slid the phone over to me.
