A small sob echoes through the dark night sky as a hand gently traces the letters on a tomb stone written for his a beloved. His fingers trace each individual letter, her name, her birth date, her death date and the words he requested to be engraved. These are the words he traced:

You will be sorely missed, but never forgotten because I still carry you in my heart. My one and only. If I could turn back time, I really would.  Neither Heaven nor Earth can stop my love from reaching you, it has just taken another form. I can only love you in my heart, in my mind and my soul. But that is enough for me. You’ll always be with me, like a scar. My Love Graze.

Now I know it isn’t always practical to start a story with death. But sometimes, a story only truly begins once death has come. But for the sake of it, I’ll take you back to the memoirs of a girl who never had a happy ending...
